Here in the UK we get the exyons version is it as bad as people make out?
Also have the auto focus problems been fixed in the latest software?

I bought a GTP 8.4 (SM-T320) at Best Buy with ROM version T320UEU1ANAI. I noticed that there are newer ROMs like T320XXU1ANB6 that have been released for other countries. I'd like to try a newer ROM to see if it helps with battery and wifi issues I have. Is there any harm in using a different country's ROM on my SM-T320? Thanks.

Generally speaking, if its WiFi you can do it no problem.

finally, I got new mainboard for my SG4 mini (meantime suffering from the curse of Meizu MX4 paddle) and I'm thinking about tweaking it a bit before putting it to full use.
So, since I have little to zero knowledge (except rooted Huawei Ideos X1), I would really appreciate any advice on how I can improve its function or which SW I should install on my desktop and pair it with my phone, etc.
There were some discussions back in 2016, but maybe something new emerged - after all, SG4 is one of the last one-handed-phone.

nothing much as changed. You need Odin and the Samsung drivers installed on your PC (widows). I'd then go for the official LineageOS ROM, white latest TWRP, if your model is supported by them both
Hey guys, I'm coming from a Xiaomi phone which has a great custom rom scene. I've been searching about the S9+, and it seems it won't receive any updates from Samsung anymore. From what I saw on the Snapdragon Custom Roms subforum here, I've found this version's support to be quite lacking.
What are you guys thoughts on this phone in 2020? Should I get it or should I get another phone? Any suggestions?
No. Unless it's an unlocked bootloader varient then maybe. You'd be better off on a recent phone if you're looking for further update support.

I got a 9650 unlocked bootloader variant. Imo it is. We just got los 17.1 and havoc rom 10. Rooted magisk stock. All run awesome. Imo the scene will start picking up since los just got released. But as for sammy updates yea where pretty much done. But I love mine to death bought mine used just a couple months ago. But again you want the g9650 model. Not a g9650u u1 or w those are the American locked bootloaders. These are China and latin america models we got. And from years of complaints and study. Snapdragon unlocked bootloader is much better than exynos on heat and battery life. So best of both worlds

I bought my first M20X in November 2018.
It was crashed ½ year ago, so sad.
Then I bought a Samsung s21 ultra, had it 1 month, did not like Sammy any longer, hate the OS and the display size hmmm to small.
Then I got my xiaomi mi 11 ultra 1½month ago, I liked it better then the S21u BUT missed my good old M20X which still is a hardcore phone in my eyes.
I bought a new one 8gb 256gm Chinese version with a global rom on Aliexpress
It work absolutely 100% like my old global M20X Hong Kong version, no Chinese stuff at all.
It surprised me the M20X forum still is active here.. Awesome, not much, but still.
Big story yes, for a tiny question.
Every time I restart my M20X is set as automatic light dimmer grrrrr, don't want that.
I remember the same problem in 2018, but how to fix it, I don't remember and can't find anything about it...
Anyone in here know what to do ??

Hey.. found this. You need to be on no higher than 9.1 for this to work. If you've already upgraded you need to perform a rollback using Hisuite...

Thx but I have the highest update you can get to this phone. And I'm happy for this, because it gives me all i need. I don't even use my xiaomi mi 11 ultra... I had it for around 3 weeks now, but this tiny display is hard to work with
And most amazing part I got 2 security updates the last 5-6 weeks, it surprised me a lot

So it's really a upgrade vs my first M20X C636 Hong Kong version
Took 3 weeks to be delivered.
And as I told, I still get security updates for it

Ok thats what i thought.
Today I tried the samsung note 20 ultra at a store. I have to admit it looks very good! It may be a bit smaller than the 20x but its still a big phone with an amazing sharp bright screen. I'm very tempted into selling my 20x and buying the note 20 ultra instead. Very tempted.
I understand you, tried the same with S21 ultra BUT, for me the display is much smaller and the battery time sucks big time vs M20X and that's enough for me to go back to my beloved M20X.
And I think the same will happen with Mi 11 ultra. When I compare speed etc, I don't feel any big difference at all. So M20X is still 95% up to date.

I'm a very very satisfied user of master gt since like 6 months or so. Very good phone. I still have the previous software I never updated. I think I have the last software before they went through realme ui 3
What is your opinion? Update now or not? Ui 3 is better than 2?
I switch from ui2 to ui3 i dont have any issue its running fine on my phone they both smooth
