Restore to factory default after rooting

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if there is a way to restore my tablet so that I can get OTA updates again. I have rooted it and I'm wondering if I download the firmware from Sammobile, and load it into the tablet via Odin, will I be able to get updates?

OP...I checked the SAMMOBILE site and did not see a US version for the firmware. BTW...could you point me in the right direction as to "how to" do the root on my Galaxy Tab S 10.5 SM-T800NTSSXAR.
Thanks, John
Thank you so much for your answer. Much appreciated! I believe I used Chainfire's root method which can be downloaded from his site. When I'm back from my vacation I'll send you the complete instructions!

Have you found the US firmware? I'm looking for the US version of the t700 firmware and can't find it.
I always use the "firmware upgrade and initialisation" setting under the "tools" tab in Kies. Just plug your tab into your PC click on the button and let it do it's magic. It's never failed for me and saves accidentally flashing the wrong firmware.

I need some information, how to get the latest update for my Android after flash

So my phone is Doogee S90. In the beginning everything started with unlocking the bootloader, root and flashing TWRP recovery mode, but i softbricked it and somehow found an old stock firmware update from 2018. I fixed the phone successfully with it, then removed the root, locked the bootloader and started the phone, it works, but i cant update it to the latest version cuz it just can't find it, my currently version is Doogee_S90_Android8.1-20181116_20181123-1523 and the latest is DOOGEE_S90_Android8.1-20190629_20190629-1831. I searched everywhere, but cant find it and cant update it to the latest version, so if someone can make me backup from the latest one as firmware image will be great or atleast tell me how to fix the "Wireless Update" to get the latest version, please.
btw, if this Thread is not in the correct category, please tell me where it has to be or just move it.

Update Firmware SM-G965U

Hi guys, I recently purchased a refurbished S9+ without knowing the model and it turned out to be a SM-G965U. After a failed software update ("Your current software isn't supported. Visit a service centre"), I've been trying to find a way to update the phone to 'official' Android 10. Does anyone know if this is possible or is the phone locked to Android 9?
'OEM Unlock' is missing from developer settings which (I think) means it can't be rooted with any common method. But is it possible to flash the phone with an official, working version of Android 10?
I'm willing to use any method required (within reason) to update the phone to a working version of Android 10. I'm aware of the "Extreme Syndicate" root method but the bugs / missing features rule it out for me. I intend to get a refund for the phone if it can't be updated to Android 10 so I'd really appreciate any answers to my questions.
Thanks!
You can manually update your phone by using Odin, and download the latest firmware available by using Frija

That's good news. Just to confirm, I can manually update with Odin WITHOUT unlocking OEM in the develop settings? Thanks for replying.
Just confirming that I successfully updated to Android 10 using Odin. The CSC I used is for an American carrier and the phone tries to register on its network but that's easily disabled. Had to be done after every reboot but it's a small price to pay for a working phone....
Hello Guys, I'm currently stuck on G965USQU3ZRLG
I made use of firmware.science to update my S9 plus to this point, but it seems there's no further firmware update for G965USQU3ZRLG to the next update file. Kindly assist, thank you.

"Creating" Combination File from Current Stock Firmware - legit?

Hello,
I have stumbled upon several tutorials claiming that the combination firmware for S9 G960F can be CREATED from any stock firmware image.
GIven that I have the problem having locked myself out of my Galaxy S9 by factory wiping it via Recovery instead of using the Android option for that (stoooooopid!) this makes me curious but also wary of potentially bricking my device further.
There are no combination firmwares for G960F on the web that go beyond bootloader version 8 - my current firmware is on bootloader version 16 (denoted G).
Can anyone shed some light?
I do not want to post links to the tutorial in question given the severe policing on XDA that I noticed.
