3 custom roms different errors - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

Hey guys i need help i forgot to back up my rom so my phone is unusable right now haha. So basically I tried 2 pixel experience custom rom for my mi a2 lite but I keep getting the error code 7 (I believe) i forgot the full details sorry. So I just tried LineageOS and now I'm getting error code 1 'SIgnature mismatch 'kDownloadMetadataSignatureMismatch'. Pls helppp tyy
Edit: Its my first time flashing but I believe I followed the steps properly

Use The offain twrp, the official twrp doesn't work https://androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=291011
By the way, i'm using havoc os right now, it's like pixel experience plus but way better, try the one that comes with gapps built in https://sourceforge.net/projects/havoc-os/files/daisy/

[Fixed] Error 7 ,E1001 failed to update system image,No rom can be installed via TWRP

The story goes like this:
Wanted a treble rom, when was using Xtended rom (non treble) for custom kernels.
I have been unsuccesful due to the same errors (error 7, failed to update system image), was willing to go back to Xtended, but being the pain in the butt that i am, i decided to switch the filesystem to f2fs since i already deleted data and have to install all the apps back.
And i reformated data to f2fs, and some of you may know what that means, it means of course that i deleted the internal storage.
After much anger and self-calming, i decide to get o with it and install Xtended back.
Much to my surprise, error 7 and unable to update system image came back to bite me in the butt.
After many attemps and lots of research, i failed to install a rom on my zuk z2, except zui 2.5 and zui 3.5, which contain a lot of chinglish and chinese symbols.
I tried many things (tried most twrp versions including latest and made for treble, many roms treble and non-treble, some older roms) and tried all the guides that i found about error 7, which tinkered with factory2vendor and stuff, that didnt work.
This is the second day that i wasted, trying to fix this p.o.s. phone.
I tried nougat oxygen os port that worked when i had this type of issue in the past, but now it doesn't work.
If anyone knows a rom of some kind that is usable that can be installed without twrp, or can avoid this treble-non-treble trash and be installed via twrp please leave a reply.
If you know a zui rom that is nougat and up that has usable english and can be flashed via qpst please please link it in the replies.
Maybe someone knows how to flash a custom rom via fastboot, cause it's the most promising thing that works the way it's supposed to work, along with qpst.
I HAVE A SOLUTION TRY THIS?

Error 7 on TWRP (Redmi Note 5 Global)

So... I recently flashed Pixel Experience. Everything gone well. But i wanted to try another rom. So i tried installing Aosp Extended rom, and it gave me "Error 7" in twrp. Before the error there was something related to "assert" and "trustzone". This error happens with every rom which isn't Pixel Experience.
Make sure you use the modded TWRP (v3.3.1-1) and Pie fw. Follow steps as in vid.

Installing custom roms

Ok, so here is the thing. I know a little bit about rooting & custom roms as I rooted & installed custom roms on my previous phone. Some days ago, I unlocked xiaomi phones bootloader, installed twrp, tried to flash rom but no luck. It showed "update process ended with error 7", but that is not the issue here. As I mentioned i flashed custom roms on my previous phone, that same phone I tried flashing custom roms agaim, but I get that error "updated process ended with error 7" And then I tried to flash custom rom on my lg g3, the same error appears again. This makes me suspicious, what am I doing wrong? Whats the the problem? I searched on the net for this error, it showed me, if you install unsupported rom then this message apppears, but I am not installing any unsupported roms, then why is this error keep showing on my every phone??
i think you are using the wrong TWRP for it, there is only one working TWRP Version for the A2 Lite at this moment and it's offains version
if u flash a custom for the first time on the a2 lite, it is a bit more complicate than any other device, so be careful what are you doing.
here is a good instruction for it

the same. stick to the offain 3.3.0-0 .. dont use any other version. every custom rom you get here will work with it.

Help needed for Treble Roms

Hey guys,
I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I can't get any treble rom to work. I have four scenarios:
1. Rom don't get over Sony logo.
2. Rom don't get over bootlogo of the rom.
3. Rom boots (Descendant, Havoc), but I have no Wifi (Mac 02:00:00...)
4. Only roms by MartinX work, but fingerprint sensor is really Bad.
What can I do? What is the correct sequence of flashing the different images? Why and when do I need them?
Hope someone can help. I am on firmware 52.0.A.11.32
I was able to use GSI rom's by following the guide here in first post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz2/how-to/gsi-roms-installation-guide-t3914603
I attached a pic (last one is RR) with the rom's i booted successfully. But it was some time ago, when i did that, so i can't say something about the current GSI's.
Thank you for your answer!
Btw I tried a few hours yesterday but I did not had any success.
Like i said, i have not tried current GSI's.
Maybe they have to be permissive to boot...?
Hi @JimmyTheFirst, did you manage to boot any GSI/Treble system on XZ2C? I try to flash RR but I get the same problems as you.
I managed to boot Havoc 2.6. All above don't work for me. Descendant and Pixel Experience also works, but nö ViperOs Or RR.
In this moment I'm waiting for a new update of Pixel Experience, but I think it could take some weeks.

Treble support on the Google Pixel XL

I was thinking about purchasing a Google Pixel XL due to the reasonable specs and good rom support. But I was just wondering if the device was treble supported before I decided to buy anything as it would help me out quite a bit. Also I am quite the enthusiast when it comes to custom roms and stuff.
If anyone has an answer i will be very grateful.
Thanks.

Got this
Check attached photo. I have been playing with one of these for a bit. I loaded up TWRP followed with the latest Resurrection Remix and the phone is so fun to use.

How did you flash it? I've been trying to flash phh and lineage but it won't boot at all. Tried in both TWRP and fastboot.
Sorry i was not clear about my message. I'm not using any GSI images. I am using https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/development/unofficial-resurrectionremix-8-5-8-t4149771
I used to flash a lot of GSI's on another model and often i would need patches, custom kernel and some needed a clean flash of one first to get what i wanted after. I really like this ROM, but i have no problems going to stock if i screw up, which i will. So i'll go see if i can get a gsi on top of Rrmix. I'll be back.
I tried a couple gsi's and twrp gives a partition size error. (Too small).. What methods other than factory resetting and trying to install have you tried?
Pretty sure the version of TWRP used is specific. I tried RR with 3.4 and it was a mess. Now i'm using 3.2.3.1 and things are not perfect, but close enough for me.

TWRP 3.4.0.0 is only good because it brings decryption support - there's also a fork of 3.3.0.0 by NZedPred on the regular Pixel forum (but the port is built for the XL too) which brings the best of both worlds, 3.4.0.0 decryption and 3.2.3.1 stability.
The small system partition is a known problem with our Pixels, there are repartitioning scripts ... but here be dragons.
