Hello friends
A few days ago, an update came for my phone. After the update, the whole sound of my phone was cut off, even when the phone call was not exchanged,When I flashed the phone with the Odin app, it worked, but there was a problem again, and the videos were played twice as fast. Now the sounds are completely gone, please help.:crying:

Hi everybody...
yesterday i was sitting at my desk with my Desire in standby...
suddenly i heard a vibration and i noticed that the phone was rebooting....
i thought that was "normal instability"...and i continued working...
some minutes later i received a phone call, i answered and i spoke normally....when it was time to end the call, like always, i touch the red button on screen to close the call and BUM !!!
my phone rebooted himself.....
from that moment every call ending , done by me or received, cause a reboot of my Desire....
i' ve already called HTC tech support for assistance, but, prior to send the phone to the repair center, i would like to know from you "experts" if this problem can be a "software related" problem or it is for sure an "hardware problem"...
obviously i've already performed an HARD reset of the phone (either by the provacy menu and by the HBOOT menu) and nothing has changed...
last thing....my phone has 7 days of life....SIGH
thank's in advance for your help

Mines done that a few times, as well as when ive disconected from a bluetooth headset. It happened on 1 device and i sent it back to orange and got a replacment, the 2nd device now does it with the generic rom on it, im hoping the custom rom ive put on it will fix it if not im screwed and so need a orange rom to revert back 2
im starting to think its something ive installed on the phone that it doesnt like
Second time I've noticed this coming upstairs with my phone in my pocket, when I got up, I went to turn the phone off, unlocked the screen and "pfftpt"
then I turn it off, and instead of the jingle I get another "pfpft"
Strange, because the exact same thing happened to me yesterday. Could it have been the new firmware update? Anyone else experience something like that? Seems pretty crazy.
So this time, I went to use my phone and when I woke it, the rear speaker started making white noise, much like a stereo when you don't get any signal.
Instead of doing much, I tried messing with the sounds and nothing really happened - attempting to play music just caused it to semi-freeze, but I could still get around it. So I let it sit some more, and then the phone started making really loud funky noises.
So I pulled the battery and restarted it. Now the sound is working fine. I think I'm going to try reinstalling from scratch. Currently everything is stock firmware and the latest update to get multiwindow.
Hello All
I have a HTC one X. I installed Cyanogenmod on it a few days ago and it was running pretty fine. Until last night my phone started to freeze a few times. So I reflashed the rom ect and it fixed it.
This morning I was messing around on this phone and it froze yet again so I held down the power button to reboot the phone.
Now the phone itself turns on but its shows a black screen. I can unlock, I can hear sounds, I can even receive phone calls and text messages and play around on the phone (but cant see anything)
I have tried plugging it in to my pc and going in to the SD card but in order to do that on cyanogenmod I will have to tun usb storage on, on the phone which i cant seem to do.
I am wondering whats going on with my phone and are there any ways to fix it or is this the end of it ?
Regards
Gentle
i was using my zf2 as usual. suddenly it became unresponsive. i locked my phone and kept it in the pocket.
It started heating like never before. It went on restarting again and again, and battery level was plummeting.
i simply did nothing and switched it off.
Later i switched it on, and the home and the recent apps buttons were not working.
no sound could be heard,
no phone calls can be heard,
factory reset is unfunctional.
Please help as to what do i do?
Try to flash the stock rom if you can access recovery, there are a lot of guides around, if it does not work send it in for service.
My phone is a non-developer version that I bought from the verizon store about a year and a half ago. I installed the OTA update from verizon a couple of weeks ago for Marshmallow and ever since I updated my phone no longer vibrates for anything. The haptic feedback vibrations have stopped, notifications and the phone ringing don't vibrate either. I've gone through all of the sound settings on the device and no matter what settings I use the phone just doesn't vibrate. Oddly enough the other day when I powered off my device and removed the battery then put it back in and turned it on the vibrations came back for only a few seconds before stopping completely again. Seems to me like there's some sort of hardware problem but I don't understand how that could've been caused by the update. Vibrations worked perfectly fine for me before updating and even though I like Marshmallow i'm starting to wish I never upgraded in the first place. I almost constantly keep my phone in Vibrate mode when i'm out and about but this update has forced me to keep my ringer on at all times now. Please let me know if there's any suggestions out there on how to fix this annoying issue!
You can do a factory reset, save what ever is important to you before do the factory reset..
