Netflix on Custom ROM (POSP) - Redmi Note 8 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi guys and gals!
I succesfully installed POSP on my Note 8 pro but saw now that I cant install netflix.
Ive tried googling, magisking and watched a bunch of out dated youtube tutorials but none the wiser I cant get it to work. Even tried downloading a sketchy netflix.APK but that couldnt install either.
Is there any obvious solution to this or is it just the way it is?
All help appreciated.

Plz make stock ROM and custom ROMs for LG G Pro lite... its an amazing phone i m waiting for Custom Roms plz developer ,,
It shouldn't be hard for devs to get something going for you guys. Hell with how similar the devices are (save the 8MP camera) the OGP Lite should be able to run OGP ROMs with no problem once a custom recovery is made!

Hey was up, where can I sumbit a petition to create a forum for the LG G Pro Lite D680?
after rooting make an ext3 partition on your sd card then install "link2d" app from play store, this solved the big problem of not supporting moving apps to sd.
M unable to understand the rooting method as it is in some foreign language.
Help out anyone....

How do I update TWRP on my n900t?

Hello. I've been reading threads for hours trying to figure out how to update TWRP on my n900t and getting mixed answers. Right now I have version 2.3.6.1 and I want to update it do to a bad bootlooping experience I had today. Can anyone help a guy out on this fine Thanksgiving day?
I just don't know if I just use Odin to install a newer version over the older one or if theres more to it then that. I usually just go with my gut but after being stuck in a bootloop for most of the day until someone helped me on here (thanks again!) I really want to be sure. Might be a "noob" question but at least I'll be a noob with a working note 3 and that's cool with me! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, can anyone tell me where to find the latest version of twrp for the n900t? Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...
Thanks..…...

I have the sm-900t , and I've been hard bricked for a month, because of twrp and I followed the site instructions. If you like your phone, unroot and go stock, an enjoy the phone as/is until all unbrick/etc methods are posted and confirmed. You've been warned....
For others who want to know a different method, install Goomanager from play store and you can install the latest version for your device from there.

Unfortunately, no.
It requires LG framework.
I have the APK installed on Tab Pro 8.4 and it doesn't work (FC).
I found this the other day and so far it works on every KK ROM I've flashed. Both CM and AOSP.
I looked for the thread I found it in but, didn't find it. If anyone knows where I got this, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
It does NOT work on LLP. I assume there are framework differences causing problems there.
I am most interested in getting my remote to work on LLP...any advice or leads anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
These are flashable zips. I flashed in TWRP but, don't see why flashify wouldn't work as well.

Installing Google play on WIFI matepad pro

Hey guys hows it going? just trying to see if someone can clear some stuff up for me. My Matepad pro is in the mail or else i'd try myself. So my understanding is that at this moment the Playstore cannot be installed on a WIFI Matepad pro, only the 5G version? This is of course what i've read from various youtube comments. One thing i am curious about is when i was going to purchase the tablet from Aliexpress alot of the sellers there offer the wifi version with the play store pre-installed, how do they pull this off? i'm assuming this means its at least possible?
hi mate, try the one from FoneTech channel on YouTube, that's the only one that worked perfectly on mine

Hi Dr.Light, I am thinking about ordering Huawei MatePad Pro(MRX-W09) as there is a discount for it going on.
Do you mind me asking if the GMS(through fonetech tutorial) that you installed has been working since it was successfully installed?
Your review of it would be greatly appreciated. As it's very attractive deal...just want to make sure it can work on the WiFi version too as I see some of the tutorials mentioning the GMS only works if it is the MatePad Pro LTE/5G.
Thanks in advance!
Hi all
I have the Matepad Pro 6Gb/128gb MRX-W09 and have been trying to get Play store installed I have tried 3 different methods and apart from one which will not go past Sign-in on playstore, the others give the Goggle services play protect error. My Pad is on the latest version of EMUI 10.1.0.151(C432E135R1P135) and is a UK version
bought from Curry's. Anyone with this latest EMUI version able to install the Play Store please advise.
TIA

This one didn't work:
youtube.com/watch?v=lYOU_YxrHhc&t= :crying:
but this one worked for me (WIFI 256 GB - EMUI 10.1.0):
youtube.com/watch?v=uKfz4xeMzh0 :good:
Likely the most important tweak with the latest MIUI updates - not even the full reset - but:
the "switch back the system time year" part in the beginning (then it can be turned back onward the process).
Another that works: youtube.com/watch?v=pXotMm47K2E
https://youtu.be/jPBQrqj6cLU
Works for me... No msg saying device not protected. Latest emui 10.1.0.150 on MRX-W09. But everytime run playstore, date need to change to latest or "Auto".
Sent from my MRX-W09 using Tapatalk
I will try 1 last time for this, but the other 3 I've tried says lzplay won't launch, some error soon as I open it.
10.4 tho.
I see a lot of these guides saying 'now change the date back to automatic' but they never say WHEN to set it to 2018?
Mine works google apps w/ updates (system updated also to latest 10.1.0.137) and even Netflix runs (actually runs movies with sign in). Up for sale on Swappa. LTE 8gb 256gb version.

You can follow this link. That's the latest tutorial he has. I did his previous one and it worked perfectly, updating emui version also works. I'm now on 10.1.0.176.
