Hello. I've been reading threads for hours trying to figure out how to update TWRP on my n900t and getting mixed answers. Right now I have version 2.3.6.1 and I want to update it do to a bad bootlooping experience I had today. Can anyone help a guy out on this fine Thanksgiving day?
I just don't know if I just use Odin to install a newer version over the older one or if theres more to it then that. I usually just go with my gut but after being stuck in a bootloop for most of the day until someone helped me on here (thanks again!) I really want to be sure. Might be a "noob" question but at least I'll be a noob with a working note 3 and that's cool with me! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, can anyone tell me where to find the latest version of twrp for the n900t? Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...
Thanks..…...

I have the sm-900t , and I've been hard bricked for a month, because of twrp and I followed the site instructions. If you like your phone, unroot and go stock, an enjoy the phone as/is until all unbrick/etc methods are posted and confirmed. You've been warned....
For others who want to know a different method, install Goomanager from play store and you can install the latest version for your device from there.

Im running a completely stock sprint gs3, it has 4.3 with knox. I want to root so I can then install a new rom. Probably cyanogen mod...but I'm open to suggestions. I know there can be issues with rooting when knox is on the phone. I have searched and found too many conflicting answers and bricking my phone isnt an option. Any help and guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hey folks i was jus wondering whats the worst that could happen if i tried to flash a GT-N7100 rom on to my SGH-i317? there is one i really want to get working ...[4.4.2] DN3 (Ditto Note 3) ROM from E-team (Electron Team) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2504016) i flashed it b4....it worked.... jus that the baseband was unknown...so i couldnt make calls....any help or info?
I think the easiest way is to ask the developer to support SGH-i317.
There are devs working on how to fix the baseband and imei loss on our phones when porting over 7100/7105 Roms.

You'll get kit-kat when the official firmware drops for our device somewhere anywhere. Then it'll pop up here in XDA for everyone to use. But time will tell us all when we'll get IT!!!
Bajan out...

You were able to find this forum, you should be able to find a guide to unlock and root a Nexus. Try the General subforum.
I asked for the link not for your opinion.I am still not able to find the link, somebody please send the link rather than just talking like the other person above.

Have you tried towelroot? Or even skipsofts android unified toolkit works awesome too

People like you don't deserve help. If you can't find it yourself, and you're rude like that to a person who is telling you how it is, you won't even know what to do with root once you have it. Toolkits and tutorials are widely available and in the time you spend moaning and whining, you could have done yourself the favor of learning and searching. You should instead ditch the Nexus and go back to your iSheep device.

How about you stop being helpless? Anyone who can find this forum can find a guide to unlock and root a Nexus device. Guess what? There's been 8 Nexus mobile devices and each and everyone has been unlocked and rooted in the exact same manner. If you ask for advice and can't take it, don't bother asking.
But since you need someone to hold your hand, maybe videos will be best: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2381698. Wanna guess where I found these? In the General subforum for the Nexus 7 2013. If that doesn't help, maybe this link will help: http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=nexus+7+2013+bootloader+unlock+root
Thank you so much for the link and I will check those links for sure.this is what I was expecting from u in the first place.and yeah henceforth I will try finding these links in the concerned department.
Thank you so much.

You are already being helped on another thread, so I am going to consider this done.
By the way, under our names is a "Thanks" button. Feel free to click that if someone helps you.
Going to close this thread since you're being helped elsewhere. No need to have the same discussion in 2 different places.
