At&t oreo update

Come on AT&T where is our Oreo update, you're last again !

The AT&T Oreo is here! Finally

Still waiiting here, checked ATT website no indication of the update there, is it a beta or a phased rollout?

Maybe they stopped, I had one unexpected reboot so far...never had one before.

I got the update. Last week.

ATT site is live with the update, still nothing for me and software update check doesn't show anything.
What am I missing here?

Ok, I need advice....I'm in Japan for work I had to change to a local sim to get coverage, I don't have the ATT sim with me. How do I get the OTA update?
I believe that is the reason the update isn't materializing.

Anyone in the US get the update yet

If you look at my post (the literal 2nd post) on June 6th, I've received it.

Guys nobody can make the kdz official for h871 and not to use the h873 ore? how is that possible that there isn't any kdz for at&t

Yes I am, I have the H871 and still nothing here. I did a factory reset also and nothing

Spoke with AT&T
I chatted with ATT today and they said it was an issue with them, that my phone should have gotten the update. I have to wait for 24 hours to see if it updates they will email me tomorrow to see if I got it, though I have to check it manually. I suggest anyone that didn't get the Oreo update to chat with att from the website and they will get it for you.

there is any chance to get one f...ing official kdz for the att&t? how is that possible that nobody can create or make a official kdz for the att&t

Some of you have already received the Oreo update ... or for some reason AT & T stopped the updates
A few days ago I bought a LG G6 H871 (AT & t) and I thought that I was going to get Oreo immediately and still nothing happens ... I have read several forums and some are updated but others are not.

So I never received the update after AT&T when they said they "pushed" it to my phone. Then today chatted them again for 30 mins they couldn't do a thing. A supervisor called me and spoke to me for 10 minutes asking for the build number the IEMI. His final response was that AT&T did not push the update just the base band version so the phone can receive the update from yep LG. He gave me LG'S 80 number spoke to them they said Google actually pushes the update not LG.. I said so why did you open this big deal update center then she didn't have an answer.What a joke. I'm still thinking of moving onto an iPhone as much as I hate saying that but the Android updates just don't cut it and with locked boot loaders what's the diff. AT&T said the update has been available for the G6 (H871) since June 5th... SO WHERE THE HELL IS IT, I give up

Since June 5 and nothing happens, incredible! I tried to use LG BRIDGE, but I received a notification '' Verification error '' so I do not even use LG BRIDGE to update it, it's for these reasons that phone companies and manufacturers lose prestige, I think that just like you will use IPHONE once again . less problems.

Purchased an att 837a on release week, still have never gotten an update.

I have never gotten an update. It is sitting on the august 1 patch, and has been ever since I got it. I click the update button, it always says it is up to date. Is there anything that I can do to overcome this issue?

Do you have an AT&T SIM in it? I needed that with my old Galaxy tab E

Have had one in it since day one. Just never pulls an update down.

what happens when you manually check for updates?

Just a heads up. Just got the Android 10 and Samsung One UI 2.0 update official OTA update from AT&T for my NOTE 10+.

I got mine about 3 hours ago. Verizon.

Congrats! I have an unlocked Note10+ with AT&T prepaid SIM. I have a feeling it's gonna be awhile before I see it. Seems the unlocked phones get the shaft in the States.

Can anyone with the update change the folder icon colors like we could in pie? I still can on an S10 I have but not on the Note 10+. I don't understand what the heck the issue is.

Tmobile and sprint got stable last week first in the s10+ today was att and vzw turn

Unlocked phones probably won't see an update till after Christmas, early January as the last beta had the December security update in itand came out about two weeks ago, So it will probably be rolled out with next months security update. They also just released a new version of 9.0 with the Star Wars theme, which also has the December security patch.

I received the update as well on At&t. I can say I am quite pleased on how fast these updates are happening. In a year's span Samsung turned it around, even the S9 and Note 9 users are on the beta before year's end. Bravo.

A user commented he received the update in USA.

I got it 3 weeks ago on WiFi at home which is also through AT&T.

Nope no foreign sim. At&t sim. I wonder if turn off mobile date & try only on WiFi if you will get it?

Wow very strange. When I 1st got my phone I had 9.1 on it. I had to download 10 to it through a flash drive. Since then I've been able to get 10xx updates but not 10.1. Maybe its got something to do with tmobile?

No AT&T OTA Since May on S20 Ultra

I haven't received any OTA since I got the phone in May. My son's phone is stuck on July. I called AT&T and they said they sent an update to my phone, but it keeps saying it is up to date. AT&T pushed the update 2 days ago. I've tried Smart Switch on Windows and it says it is up to date. I've set the date forward 1, 2, 3 days and it still says up to date. It won't even check. It just comes back and says up to date. Any tips?

Download the latest firmware from samfw.com and flash with Odin

The issue is you cannot get AT&T firmware to flash. One of the AT&T features I need (only one actually) is Wi-Fi calling because I don't have great service inside the house. Outside the house isn't an issue.

Exactly it needs wifi. You can manually force it to look for updates in settings too when you have wifi.
AT&T also has special "update cell towers" can't recall what they call them. They're few but they are there.
All that said updates are overrated and can cripple your phone especially AT&T's junk.
You been warned.
I've run dinosaur Android's for years and never did a forced reload due to virus or trojan.
I'm still on Pie on my 10+ and it likey will never be updated as it runs well and looks great.
Q's scoped storage really sucks...

Well ATT suck un updates I have s20 ultra on ATT and I receive sep 1 update and I cheeked everyday for the updates and I gut it like 3 to 4 days ago. If you use smart switch it will always say is up to date the best thing y can say is just wait a bit more maybe in your area is a bit delayed in updates and also use the ATT sim card that was included in the box when you gut the phone that's my best advice since is hard to find the ATT Firmware's online

I used this post to flash with AT&T and I am now getting all the updates.
