Hi,
I had the same issue when i newly bought S20+ 5G, and i did the same thing, reset cache, factory reset etc etc. At the end i went to the official Samsung service center, initial checking result was that the phone is completely fine but still the phone was restarting. Support service guy kept my ticket open and there was a remote check-up done by the Samsung Team. they have me install one of their app and got the log file.
Now the trick is, dont factory reset your phone. Once it restarted by itself, a log file will be generated. have your ticket open with Samsung and tell them to check it otherwise replace the phone, which they will do if you keep insisting,
By the way, right after couple of days Samsung sent me an update (don't know if it was me only or for all) my phone never restarted after that,,,
Have you tried going safe mode to see if this is caused by an app? Here are guidelines: https://www.androidauthority.com/safe-mode-samsung-galaxy-s20-1082859/
If this continues to restart even in safe mode, then it's an issue with the phone. Call Samsung customer support

Hi everyone,
Recently I have purchased used phone(S6 Edge SM-925F) it was almost in perfect condition for price tag.
But it used be slowing down time to time. I tried to update through OTA, but I got a message like "...operating system has been modified in an unauthorized way...." at the beginning.
Secondly I tried to update via Kies then failed. Then I tried my last resort, ODIN update. Although it shows pass in the end, it stucks in black boot loop. I wiped cache factory reset etc, but no luck.
Finally I found a place to fix. Now it works fine but it shows "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" message at beginning of boot-screen. IMEI also has been changed, therefore I feel very suspicious about my phone's security. I visited another shop. The repairman told me that this phone is unofficially unlocked or whatsoever, never update to never versions.
Is this might be true?
Is there any risk to total brick?
Shall I try to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
Hi - I cannot locate the proper .tar.md5 files for my model
I have a United States Sprint Galaxy S6 - Gold 64Gig - SM-920P. About 2.5 weeks ago, the phone went from working fine to going in a reboot loop. I think it may have happened shortly after a Samsung Update. Not sure.
I took it to a local repair place who told me it was a bad battery even after informing him of the update, waited 3 days to get the battery and as I suspected the battery did not change the condition.
One kid there who does deeper level work said he could reflash the phone with Odin and possibly get it to work and save the data. My primary objective was to save the data as I was a bit foolish and had not kept it backed up.
His flash did not work and the phone will not get past the first couple of start-up screens as it was doing before.
I then Factory Reset the phone which would wipe the data and that did not work.
I am trying to reflash my phone myself back to Standard Stock Software.
I have the phone in Download Mode and Connected to Odin.
I cannot find the phone's tar files.
I have watch several videos who have gone to XDA.COM or Sammobile. The one video was a Verizon Phone where the guy got the phone from XDA. I could not find any stock files for my phone on XDA. I also went to Sammobile and they have several with no country listed so that is no help.
As the phone when to an unbootable mode, I do not know it's original Firmware Level or what the repair shop guy attempted.
I would appreciate any assistance on where to find the file. Thanks.
Trying it

You can use the files from the thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...uide-links-files-update-root-restore-t3366862
Otherwise you would just download the SM-G920P firmware from sammobile.com

Odin Update Successful but did not Fix Phone
Complete the re flashing of the phone successfully. The Phone updated but upon reboot, at the Welcome Screen, get the message, "Unfortunately Context Service has stopped" - Hit OK "Unfortunately Google Services has stopped" - then it will reboot after awhile, back to the Welcome Screen with those error messages again, reboot again, etc.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks. Did that after the first flash failed by the repair shop. Did it again, after my flash today. I think it may be hardware failure now, The start up sound kept getting poppy and crackling. This time after a couple of the reboots and those error messages at the welcome screen when I tried to get back to the maintenance mode, it didn't turn on and it doesn't seem to turn on anymore.
Drain ur battery to zero percent ... Then charge to 10% while the phone is off go into recovery wipe data n cache n restart ur phone

Dear People,
I have lost my IMEI number. Only if I look in download mode I can view my IMEI. My phone runs with everything except that it doesn't connect to a network anymore. It started yesterday suddenly when I restarted my phone because I thought my phone needed a fresh restart. During boot it crashed halfway during the samsung logo, playing an alarming sound then rebooting again and slowly restarting.
I tried factory reset and flashing the nougat version I have (from forum here) with odin 3.11 again. Went to samsung stand at bestbuy and they couldn't help me either. Because I bought it second hand I cant rely on warranty even though it would be valid.
Does anybody know a way to restore the IMEI? I don't have a backup of the efs or anything I wasn't flashing roms I was checking facebook in firefox.
Anyway any tips appreciated!
get an octopus box, that is what I have and it sails right on through bad imei, no imei, frp lock, all that.

Hi guys
I have an Lg g3 device unrooted for almost 30 months. Last night when the phone was sitting on the couch, I saw the LG logo and i thought the phone did one of the random surprise. Anyway it didn't load the OS for almost 15 mins. I hard resetted the phone, i deleted everything and restarted. Then i had Android is starting and Applications are optimizing. I got the Setting section. boom phone restarted again and bootloop again. I took it to download mode, i had a clean installation with the recent official KDZ. and again optimizing, then boom again. The phone only passes the loading phase if i hard reset it or just flash the original KDZ . I select the language. Network option. Restarts. I tried 3 batteries. No luck. All batteries are working on other phones.
Any idea how i can fix it? I dont mind rooting the device. I need the device for 2 weeks. then i would be upgrading to another phone. I am going nutz. Please help!
HELP PLEASE.Is there a way to flash or root AT&T Note 5,stuck in boot loop mode???
Hi to all
I'm member on XDA for a long time, but I really am a newbie considering rooting, flashing and messing with the phones.
Yesterday ,my At&t Samsung galaxy NOTE 5 restarted by itself and started doing that constantly.Maybe because the memory was almost full so the firmware didn't have enough space to run correctly ,I don't really know.
So I decided to do a FACTORY RESET in order to refresh the phone.I backed all up (it did restart few time while I did that but I managed to finish it).
After I did the factory reset and wiped the cache,I rebooted the phone and that is when the boot loop started.
Once or three times came back and started the phone up to the first settings (I managed to put in my google username e.t.c. but after a minute maybe it freezes and restarted by itself again)
I tried again another factory reset but the boot loop continues.I tried many time to turn it off,it restarted up to INSTALLING UPDATE......then tried to turn it off completely (Volume down+Power+Home button) and somehow I managed to turn it off.
I thought that I can come here and find the instructions on how to FLASH it with ODIN,but I couldn't find the stock firmware for AT&t Note 5.
Then I remembered (and read on internet) that the bootloader on AT&T phones is locked !!!!!
I searched some threads here for at least how to root it ,but I can't find anything clearly.
So I'm asking you for help: IS THERE ANY SAFE WAY THAT I CAN DO FLASH OR ROOT MY AT&T SAMSUNG NOTE 5 (EXPLAINED STEP BY STEP) IN ORDER TO MAKE MY PHONE WORK AGAIN????
I have never before messed with the phone. It has the original stock firmware Android 7.0 Nougat.
And the phone is bought in USA,but I live in EUROPE and have unlocked it ,by buying some code online, few years ago.It was working fine until yesterday.
Thank you in advance guys I hope that someone might help me.

Guys I found here some older version (few months older) of Android 7 for my Note 5 and I managed to do a flash. The flashing went OK I went through settings and after few minutes the phone freezes again and restarts. And then again the same,it works fine for a few minutes, freezes and restarts (I can here the camera working inside sometimes too)...........CAN ANYONE HELP ME REPAIR MY PHONE ,PLEASE ???
Hi again
I don't know why no one is replying to me???
Today I managed to make the settings and power up the phone, restored the back up....the phone is working,BUT the PROBLEM is that it constantly freezes and reboots by itself.Sometimes it works for few minutes and reboots, sometimes it works for 30min and then it reboots, sometimes longer...
What might be the problem? Is it some hardware problem processor ,memory or maybe bad battery? It is older model and I have noticed with Accu Battery that most likely the battery haslowered it's capacity. It drains faster, sometimes when it comes to 15% it drains very fast...
Can anyone help me diagnose the problem?
Thank you in advance
Try booting into Download Mode & flash a new stock firmware if all else fails, assuming u tried a factory reset first with no satisfaction. Guides are everywhere. I HTH

Thank you for your reply
I managed to flash the firmware few times, but the phone keeps freezing after some time and restarts.Sometimes it is stuck in the bootloop, sometimes it starts up to some point, freezes and restarts.
Could it be BAD BATTERY or is it something else?
If it is the battery problem,I will replace it,but I'm afraid that it might be someting else wrong.
What is your opinion?
