How to edit quick settings layout without edit edit button in reach? - Redmi Note 8 Pro Questions & Answers

I'm stuck with the default layout of quick switches on both sites. I'm new to MIUI 11 and I need help with this.
How do I set them up?

Diamond-like Start Menu Font

I was wondering if anyone knew the reg hack to change the startmenu/softkey font to Arial..
The great majority of users I know use a replacement start menu of some sort making it as easy as going to the options. If you want to change the default start menu's font I am relatively certain that it will change everything that uses the system font. I would find the reg-edit for you, but I don't have my registry editor installed right now, you can probably find it on Google.
Kevin1a, unfortunately not, mate. I've changed my system font by SPB Tips and Tricks and it did not change the softkeys' font. And SPB changed three types: main font, menubar font and popup menu font.
I also tried SKTools, but I did not find any option to change them.
In fact, I really want to know how can I change the softkeys' fonts too.

A tool to remove icons from 6.5 start menu?

I use reStart to change icons on the 6.5 start menu but does anyone have a program that will delete/add shortcuts? Editing the registry is a bit of a pain.
I also find reStart to be very hit or miss with it's functionality. In fact it's what's messed my start menu up adding shortcuts in places I don't want that I can no longer move. I'm going to try hComber instead for icon changing.
Go to /Windows/StartMenu/Program (and play) ;-)
lol How easy.
Thanks a lot.

Android 2.2 Keyboard settings

Hey guys,
I noticed that the keyboard settings icon that was included in the keyboard itself in 2.1 is actually missing now in 2.2. I used to jump to keyboard settings using that icon when I wanted to disable/enable the prediction feature, Because sometimes I need to write some uncompleted words as in MSN app, Twitter app and Facebook. So is there a way to get that icon back to the keyboard instead of going all the way to main menu and then settings then keyboard settings then I change what I want ...?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Note: the icon I'm talking about was located on right of the keyboard hider icon.
In a word, no - it's no longer there as it's now the 'multi-language' icon. Only way is to go into the main settings via the menu (never use prediction so not an issue for me)
OK thanks for replying and help.
Is there any way that the Developers here can make something to get it back on?
Thanks anyway, it's not something that I can't live with. But it's really annoying to go all the way to the main menu to enable or disable the prediction feature.
Just press the 'multi language' key and at the bottom of the menu that comes up is a settings button.

[Q] adding sense quick settings

Hi, do you know if it is possible to add shortcuts to the quick settings notification bar menu ? (ie: such settings as "plane mode")
thanks
Nico
You would have to modify the SystemUI.apk and insert the code for every item manually.
Other than that it is not possible. There are some modified versions with more option though (RCMix has one)
yeah...thx the uP one
ok thanks for the answer;
Anyway, I found the QuickSettings app in the market, and even it is not native, it works
Bye
Nico
