I have been trying to connect my Galaxy Watch Active 2 using GWS 2.0 (Beta) on my MacBook Air, but over wifi fails every time and SBDoverBT (Connection_Assitant.apk) is not in the location it says (or anywhere else) so I have not been able to connect my watch via bluetooth through my phone usb to Mac.
Anyone know how to get this connected??

Anyone managed to sync the phone via Zune over Bluetooth? Or has an idea how it could work?

Zune Bluetooth - How to connect?
I can't find how to connect my phone by bluetooth. Yes, I know that buying a WP7 is not a good idea, but it's not your problem.

I believe Zune only supports sync over USB port or wifi (via network). If your PC is connected to the same network as your wifi AP, you can try the wireless sync feature of the Zune.
Hi everyone. OK so I've seen a lot op apps for android to control your PC, like Unified Remote. But every app I've seen requires the user to connect both the phone and the pc to a wireless router.
I want to be able to access my pc DIRECTLY through my phone using my Wifi adapter that is plugged into my PC, and control it that way.
I don't want to connect my pc to the wifi router before I can control it.
Does anyone know how to do this; and is it ever possible to do this???
As another case.. Do you like to use USB instead WiFi? Or Bluetooth?
It is to simple for words:
1. go to wifi
2. go to wifi-hotspot
3. enable it
4. go to your pc and look for HTC Portable Hotspot
Simpler way..... only PC and smartphone that's all

You should be connected to internet from your computer and phone through your Wifi Adapter. If both PC and phone are connected to internet, you can access your PC from phone using various applications such as TeamViewer, unified remote etc.
Also, if you would like to have remote access between computers, you can use various remote support services such as gosupportnow, logmeinrescue etc.
Hi,
Has anyone been able to successfully use the Intel WiFi Direct utility from a PC to connect with the SGH-i927 ?
My search research on the forums would tend to suggest it doesn't work. I found quite a few posts of people asking the same question for various Samsung devices and others. Samsung Handset to Samsung Handset seems to be fine but not from/to PC .....as there doesn't seem to be anything specific to our handset I post here.
Here's what I get...
1) Both WiFi Direct on the Handset and the PC Intel Dashboard locate each other,
2) When initiating the connection from the phone nothing happens
3) When initiating the connection from the laptop the phone responds with a prompt to accept the connection however once accepted nothing happens.

Lenovo T420 Windows 7 Enterprise SP1

Ok so I got hold of a copy of Qualcomm Atheros Direct Connect and installed on my Samsung R530 Laptop (AR9285WiFi Card)/ Windows 7 Home Premium SP3.
Here's what I get...
1) Both WiFi Direct on the Handset and the PC Atheros Direct Wif can see each other.
2) When initiating the connection from the phone connection completes phone/PC say 'Connected'
3) When initiating the connection from the laptop connection completes phone/PC say 'Connected'
When connected PC prompts for Network Connection location Internet/Home etc I selected Home ...any advice on what to do here ?
4) When sending a file from phone MyFiles...Share...WiFi Direct phone prompts for a WiFi Connect device and it doesn't list the connected PC ! .
What am I doing wrong ?

I spent some more time playing with the clients...I even managed to get the Samsung Laptop connected to the Phone at one point ...however I couldn't send anything between the two.
I couldn't even establish a proper connection between the two laptops let alone use the phone....and given the amount of feedback this is generating I doubt I will take this any further. I hope you guys have more luck than I did.

I have gotten SideSync 3.0 to work with my desktop (running Win7) via USB3.0.
My desktop does not have Wi-Fi and is connected to the router via Ethernet. I was wondering if Side Sync could establish a connection on the Note 3 from the desktops ethernet to the Note 3's Wi-fi in the same way LG's On Screen Phone does.
Also, what is browse my mobile?
Thanks!
Scruffy,
Did you ever get an answer to this question? I also want to do this over ethernet instead of WiFi..
Unfortunately from my desktop PC SideSync works only via USB; it seems that it requires a Wi-Fi connection present on the computer where it is installed.

Correct. It uses wifi direct.
Sent from my leanKernel 3.14 powered stock 4.4.2 SM-N900T
Latest version has added LAN option.
But my case is a little more complicated. I connect my computer using an Ethernet to WiFi adapter. The adapter connects to the WiFi network of my router but the computer connects to the adapter by Ethernet so still unable to use SideSync
I have already used 3 WiFi USB dongles in my computer and for some strange reason, they all stopped working after a few months of use, that's why I moved to the Ethernet to WiFi adapter.
The problem seems to be the LAN to wich my computer connects is a small LAN created by the adapter, so it is a different LAN from the one created by the router. I have no idea how to solve this.
Yes I can connect to PC without wlan installed on PC:
PC system windows 10
Connected via QR-Code
Hi, today I tried to connect my TabPro 8.4 (lte) to my Windows 10 PC through SideSync (over WiFi). My tablet my PC, and vice-versa, but when I press on "Connect", tablet and pc say "Connection failed".. What can I do?
side sync doesn't support pc connections for tablets only to other phones
SideSync supports coinnections from PC. But, it works different. If you have a tablet and you want to connect it to your phone, app doesn't let it, just tablet connects to the phone and you can manage your device through tablet. But when you want to connect a tablet from PC, it's same thing. PC is going to connect to the tablet.
