I have a bluetooth keyboard from logitech, and it makes the tablet much easier to use, more of a laptop experience. Now I wanted to use the tablet connected to my TV, but find it a hassle to have to use the screen to select things. ect.
My question is, will any bluetooth mouse work? Logitech has a special android mouse, but its $50! I see other bluetooth mice out there for about $10-20.
Will any bluetooth mouse work? Or do I need a "special" android tablet mouse?
Thanks!
No. You need to be sure that the mouse pairs with the tablet via a 4 digit code (usually 1234 or 0000). The Targus bluetooth laser mouse (AMB03US) supposedly doesn't need a code, but I couldn't get the tablet to pair without it. I switched to a different mouse (Targus Bluetooth Comfort Mouse #BH3874)which used a code and it worked flawlessly.
yes ı use atech bt630 is work
YEAP!!
Yes!! With current Technology, many Bluetooth Mouse are possible to be paired with tablets. Some of them is specially built for pairing purposes too You may ask Acer/Tablet Specialists near your area, for ensuring your Tablet A1000 is confirmed compatible to your plan-to-buy Bluetooth mouse
If this helps and convinces you, pls kindly hit ''thanks'' button

I took the risk and bought a cheap "slim black bluetooth mouse" from ebay ($10) and it works! Im currently using the logitech android keyboard. I know any bluetooth keyboard will work, but the Android specific funtions really make things easier.
Hello. I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse that pairs and connects succesfully but after entering in idle state for a few seconds they both stop working until i press on the keyboard or mouse. Is that normal? Is there a way to avoid this idle state and loss of connection?

Bluetooth working mouse with Android devices
Hi
Last month I bought Modecom BT keyboard with case and mouse (set) for Sony Xperia Z2 tablet.
Keyboard - model Modecom MC-TKC10BT and mouse model - Modecom MC-BM6
Keybaord has worked well since beginig, but I have had problems with mouse - flickering, many stops,
completely unusefull.
I have paired both devices with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 (rooted - X-Note ROM version - 16.0 by Soloilmeglio - Xentrix
Android based 4.4.2) and there was the same problem (only with mouse).
I have thought there is Android problem, but I have bought new - cheap mouse Esperanza Model EM123K and it works well and smoothly.
There is not any stops and disruptions.
It seems that is not an Android problem (As I wrote on some internet sites and forums), but hardware problem with some bluetooth devices.
Best regards
Marek
Hi!
Does anyone know how to connect a controller to the OP3? I tried Bluetooth/sixaxis and OTG.
Bluetooth: Can connect to it but wont work in emulators or games.
Sixasis: Wont find the controller
OTG: Light DS4 controller is orange (So it is connected) but won't work in supported games or emulators.
OS: OxygenOS 3.1.2
I tried support but they just say it is not supported. USB controller support is native in Android OS, right? See OnePlus forum where we discuss the problem at hand. Maybe someone here knows a solution. Support OP says it is not supported on OP3. As far as I know it worked on OP1 and OP2.
I really want to play Pokemon en OoT!

Which bluetooth controller do you have? I have the Moga Pocket and it does work, though it took some fiddling around with different apps and then adjusting settings in the emulators.

Yes, I enabled it. Hoped that would do the trick. No luck there
I'm having the same issue connecting my DS4 controller. It connects to the sixaxis app properly, but the nothing responds to my inputs. I am using oxygen 3.1.3. I'm guessing a different rom will probably fix the issue, but then I'd lose dash charging. Is there any work around? I was considering buying an otg cable later today, but wont since OP has had no luck with it.

Hi, Thank got i'm not alone! Next step in the process. Installed BlissPop ROM and that made it only worse. There is no way to enable OTG on CM13. So I thought, lets restore my back-up. Now my security pattern is not recognized . Let's hope the already second running restore will work.
Anyone got another plan?

I tried contacting OnePlus support. Their response was that the OP3 is a very sensitive device and is very sensitive to input and is not designed to work with a PS4. I don't even know where they got PS4 since I didn't even mention that I was using a DS4 with my OP3.
Hello all!
Sorry for my english. It is not so good as I want
I have Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML (Android 6. Firmware version is "WW-4.21.40.144") and Creative Sound Blaster E5 (latest firmware version).
It works correctly via bluetooth, but it don't work at all via USB.
I asked ASUS support - they answered, that all ZenFone2 phone officially not support USB-audio, but I tried to test Creative E5 with ASUS ZenFone2 ZE500KL (phone of my friend). It works as expected.
I asked them - can I fixed this, if I root my phone. Support answered "in theory".
Interesting moment - when I tried to connect E5 via OTG (microUSB to phone and microUSB to E5. Default way is - microUSB to phone and USB to E5(special port for mobile phones)). In this way I hear sound from the speaker of the phone and from the earphones, connected to E5. This is really strange.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Can I fix this without root? Or with root? If it possible - how can I do it?
I would be very grateful for any help.
PS. I also wrote a letter to Creative support. But I think, that this is not issue of E5 (I tested it with about 15 different android and ios phones - it works fine).
In addition. I connected Creative E5 via OTG USB again (microUSB to phone and microUSB to E5) and install Onkyo HF player.
This app could initialize DAC and play music via it (without dublication to phone speaker).
But this don't solve the problem
Creative support answered me. Seems, that my phone not support AOA2. (I hope, that links to android.com are allowed here )
Anyone know - is there chance to add support of AOA2? May be with using ROOT access, or with unblocking bootloader? Thanks!

try octopus app
I connected my ds4 to play via otg and it got recognized .. I can able to navigate menu using arrows and can do click or back functions using those triangle , circle , cross , and square buttons .. But when I try to connect via bt , it connected ..still remains unfunctional bcuz of Sony rejected to give mapping codes for Android !!
I have been using a bluetooth controller without a problem for a while now. I use it with the octopus controller mapping app and it works pretty well.
Hello, I've recently bought a PS4 controller and I successfully paired it with my phone but the problem is that it doesn't detect any key presses... I've tried the same controller on PC and another phone (running Android KitKat) and it's working fine.
Is this a software issue? How can I fix it? Have anyone tried this too?
Up. Anyone could test this with at least any Bluetooth controller? I heard that s10 had a similar issue and it got solved by an update.

Most devices just don't have the keylayout files for controllers. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to make them work.
If you have magisk, there's a module called 1controller which you can just install to get that file.
If you don't, I also have the specific file you need to get into /system/etc/keylayout, but obviously, you're gonna need root for that.
I'm having the same problem too.
can you please upload a link
my gamesir g4 works fine

The default connection via bluetooth using Playstation controllers doesnt work. Or it doesnt fully work at least. I have experienced it on my ps3 and PS4 controller. The only way a controller works is from a Bluetooth Controller made for Android. Or if you really want to use PS controller, you need an app called Sixaxis Controller.
If your phone is not rooted, the only way to do it is by using sixaxis and connect the PS controller directly via Wire. The sixaxis for the wired and wireless are different so dont buy it on the playstore right away
If you have rooted Access, then you can connect it wirelessly bia the sixaxis app.
Only then it will work as it should be.
The thing is, it actually works with my low-end tablet. So why not with this expensive phone?
Works fine with my Xbox One controller. Son uses it to play minecraft...

Wired or wireless?
Actually, after September update, I just tried to controller again and it's perfectly working through bluetooth.
Xbox One controller works fine via bluetooth, buttons are already mapped.

I dont know what tablet it is but it might be a feature of the tablet. Ps4 controllers have D-Input mapping while android works natively with X-input controllers. Xbox controllers work right away as it works under X-Input
Sixaxis converts that input to a readable input for the android if youll use a ps4 controller.
Edit: good that you had it working.
