Hello 3 months ago I bought a second hand galaxy tab s4 sm-t830. A month ago, the camera stopped working, the rear camera. as if it didn't exist. but a week ago the screen froze occasionally (just the bottom half) then it was more common and black and white lines appeared. those lines are now permanent. the touch works on the entire screen but the lower half is not visible. only small black and white lines. help please.

Hi
I have a problem with my SG N7105 screen. The phone is only 6 weeks old and the problem stated about 2 weeks ago.
At first I noticed a white line down the screen from top to bottom. I got an app from Google play store to test the pixels and the line only occurred when the screen flashed certain colours, so there is a pixel problem. About 2 days ago the left side of the screen has become discolored. It is more noticeable on a lighter screen and looks Green. It goes exactly to the middle of the screen.
I am having the phone repaired by my carrier under warranty, I just wondered if this was an issue anyone else was familiar with?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I don't know how to describe what happened to the lcd display of my phone. It is like that all of a sudden the resolution is halfed. Actually I noticed that half of the lines of the display are blacked and not powered... If you see the photo I took of my callendar widget you will notice that some lines are not visible. Next by next line is black, if you zoom in the picture you will understand the issue.
Also I had some months ago replaced my lcd with a genuine samsung one because it was cracked. It was working perfectly until now. I opened the case and reseated all the cables but no luck... Any ideas what maybe causing this?? The screen looks auwful as it is now

So, my nexus is 2,5 years old. Since half a year ago it got wet in the rain (while in my pocket). When I got home and checked the phone, it had a vertical white line on its display. I also had charging issues, but that was solved rather quickly. without me doing anything. But the white line was still there. For about 2 or 3 months the white line was disappearing and coming back occasionally. But after a few months the line was there permanently. I think it's one defect LED of the display or something. But the particular white line is brighter than the highster screen brightness.
When my screen is on, the line is there, but when I shut off the display, it disappears.
Anyway. What is this and is there anything I can do to solve the problem WITHOUT letting the screen get repaired completely (as that would be a huge waste of money for a 2,5 y.o. phone)?
Here's a picture for clarification.

Doesn't look like a software problem.
so replacing the display is your only shot.
I'm not sure if it's right forum or not but I just wanted some opinions regarding an issue I'm getting with my 2 year old Note 2 (GT N7100). Recently suddenly i noticed a burn type thing in one corner of the display. Since then it has slowly grown in the last few days. It is especially noticeable on white background.
What I'm guessing is that the digitizer is gone. But just a guess. Can somebody actually help me out a little to think what else could be a problem? As mentioned it's a 2 year old GT N7100 running CM12 having a tempered glass screen protector.
The phone pic.
On my Zenfone 2 when dark apps are displayed the screen becomes full with vertical line and ghosting and it recovers after a while.
It even happens on Bootloader and recovery mode
This is a problem with the LCD. You can get it replaced easily.

There was a bad batch of LCDs actually for the ZE551ML. From what I found, all AUO (AU Optronics) LCDs were either defective out of the box or will have this exact issue in their lifetime. The TM (Tianma) displays are good. My ZenFone 2 came with the Tianma display out of the box. The reason I had to replace it after 1.5 years was that the glass got broken. I replaced it with another Tianma display and it is fine ever since. The phone is almost 4 years old and still performs good as new.
