Hello, I would like to ask if my LG G3 is softbricked or hardbricked. It has been a long while since it decided to boot loop. I tried to fix it but got no results. I tried to factory reset it, but the next day it didn't turn on anymore and got stuck in the logo. Note : the phone was experiencing some heating issue before it decided to screw itself up. I tried numerous troubleshooting from the net, none worked. I also did try to reinstall the firmware to stock again, it did boot but it can't get to the home screen. I then factory reset it again and tried using another firmware also built for my phone (it's LG G3 D855). It failed again at 33% while it was in the firmware update mode. Now that I have left it for a solid year, I thought that it would be nice to try again. Which I did, but it couldn't charge anymore and it cannot boot to the logo. I tried to go to the download mode but no response. I tried connecting it to my computer, but it only detects my phone as a charge only device, it also detects it on only several random occasion. I hope this is a softbrick and it can be fixed at home so I don't need to go to the store to repair it.
I'm sorry for the long explanation, I had been trying to revive it for months now and had no luck. How do I fix this, at least how do I get to the firmware update download mode again? I really really hope that anyone can help. Thankyou so much in advance.

I flashed my LG G3 Because i felt that the sound was not working anymore and that it can be a software issue which it was a hard ware issue ( loud speaker wasnt connected because of screw) Anyways preformed the stock FW Flash following the guide that highonandroid provided to go completely back to a stock rom. After flashing i restart phone and the boot takes forever until it finally hangs on the tmobile screen. there was a point where i left it over night to see if it will turn on but it still hung for a good 8 hours. Ive done everything i can which can be that i preformed atleast hundreds of hard resets but nothing is working.. there was a point where i did manage to turn it on then i tried updating to lolipop and when it reboots the bootloop is back.. Please help!
I assume you opened the back to fix the speaker issue. Did you make sure all connectors are tight?

Same problem here, but here the device is G3 Liger F490L.
hey guys my G4 apparently bootlooped itself for some reason so i factory reset it which didnt help. This lead me to use lgup to flash the same MM that the phone was running from a .kdz file. Now after the flash it just stays on the LG bootimg screen and wasn't booting up. I removed the battery and put it on again and this time the phone shut off. I also have no recovery mode and when i attempt to boot into download mode it just stays at the icon and doesn't go to the firmware update screen so ive been doing some research and it says the bootloader is most likely the problem. My computer also recognizes it as the 'qhsusb_bulk' error but i came across no solution.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to do here...thanks in advance
Hi all, I've had some issues with my G3 and have got to the point where I need the advice of wiser heads to try and fix the problem!
The phone seemingly died during an update a few weeks ago, but I was able to fix it using LG's tool and upgrading to Marshmallow. Then a few days ago with no warning the phone froze, and gets stuck in a bootloop at the LG screen, with the flashing LED. If I try to factory reset, I just end up with the Android Droid with a red triangle and I can't get any further. I've tried numerous guides I've found to try and reinstall the stock firmware, all without success. (I haven't tried accessing bootloader as I have download mode available). LG's own tool gets stuck at 4% when I try to recover, and I've tried the LG Flash Tool but get an error at 6% (LAF_READ_GPT_FAILED) using the 8974 dll. I've also tried the LGUP tool but that gets stuck at 6% (Error can't communicate with phone[Kilo Packet]. The phone was not rooted and is a 16GB UK version (model D855). I just seem to be going in circles now trying to find a solution, I suspect somewhere along the line I'm using the wrong combination of programs/TOT/DLL files so I could really do with someone pointing me in the right direction here!
Hey, my Lg G4 H815 is dead. It got a bootloop at the logo. I only one got it to the startscreen but it died again.
I tried every thread offered I found. I ended up with going into download mode and install back to stock. This didnt work with lg flashtool so I tried the method with lgup. Nothings changed. What now happens is that when trying to get into download mode, it says some seconds donload mode and swithes back to the logo. Since then I dont even get into hard reset mode.... So can I through it into my trash can? Or does anyone know how to fix this? I would be thankful for every answer.... have a nice weekend you all
as long as the phone is for your region LG should repair/replace it. I just had the same issue with my H811 and despite it being 1 year and 2 months old they repaired it free of charge.
So, some time ago I finally gave up on LG providing official nougat update for LG G4 so I decided to flash it and I found an official flash v29a, and everything went well.. except for my GPS. The GPS was not locking on and would take more than 100 seconds sometimes to lock on, I did not had this issue before so I decided to flash my device again hoping it would fix it, but it bricked my phone.
Now I can't reinstall or downgrade, since it would get stuck at 16% when flashing again and downgrade wont work at all. I get error 0x2000 "Invalid command Response". I have been trying to fix it for more than 6 hours now, downloading different KDZ's but it just won't work. I really need help here, I cannot afford a new phone right now. I have LG H818p version. And yes, I was using the correct version for upgrade/downgrade. I tried to hard reset it but it is still stuck on Firmware update. Urgent help is needed, since I don't have another phone to use and I really need this phone, been up all night trying to fix it..
Edit: Fixed it, don't know how tho
