Chinese big brand, Xiaomi has leaked its news gradually now about the next flash ship, Xiaomi MI5. We have seen much rumors about this high-end smartphone. But it still didn’t release it. Now i have heard the latest news that it will arrive in Feb, 2016. I was so excited about it.
The Mi 5 will reportedly be the first Snapdragon 820 phone to launch in the world; .Another leak that has to do with this very phone is an alleged leak that depicts thin bezels. Now, it isn’t really going to be a surprise to have a 2016 phone with slim bezels, but getting a glimpse of that in 2015 doesn’t hurt. So have at it below:
As for other specs, Xiaomi mi5 will have 5.2inch display, RAM 4GB/3GB version, laser auto focus rear camera (16-21 mega-pixel), and a battery of around 3500mAh in capacity and non-removable in nature.

Hey guys,
*This comparison is applicable for Indian version only as price may not be competitive enough for other regions.
Priced @ 12999 INR for 3GB+32GB, 15999 INR for 4GB+64GB
Honor 6X just launched in India today, in an event held at Taj palace, New Delhi and the most exciting thing about the launch was the pricing.

Now, as the title goes for this article about Honor 6X- A real upgrade to predecessor Honor 5X, in this article, I will tear down the factors which makes the Honor 6X a real upgrade to its predecessor based on some key features and hardware upgrade. For some background, Honor 5X was launched last year, around the same time, and was a mid-budget flagship phone. Now with the launch of Honor 6X today, with the same price tag of Honor 5X, Honor 6X has really got some key upgrades.
Instead of writing couple of paragraphs here, I will quickly compare the key factors in below table which will give a clearer picture of the comparison and lets you decide if 6X is an upgrade to Honor 5X.
*all the highlighted things are really an upgrade here.
Let’s consider only base Honor 6X variant, based on the above table we can clearly make our decision and can decide for sure if Honor 6X is a real upgrade to Honor 5X with some key factors like up-gradable to Nougat with EMUI 5.0 vs the Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1, 3GB vs 2GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory vs the 16 GB internal memory, improved 16nm architecture vs the traditional SD 616 processor, increased 2.1 GHz and 1.7 GHz processor speed vs the 1.5GHz and 1.2 GHz respectively, 3340 mAh battery vs 3000 mAh battery, dual rear camera with improved 8 MP front camera vs the single 13 MP camera with 5 MP front camera, additional 2.5 D glass design vs a regular design and out of the box VOLTE and OTG support. Only thing that is missing here is the dedicated SD card slot from Honor 5X which gives you the luxury of expanding the external memory with dual sim support but thats not a shows stopper here as 32 GB internal memory will fill the gaps.
There are many other aspects to compare which can definitely get the Honor 6X a real win win situation here over Honor last years mid budget flagship Honor 5X but that’s how the smartphone technology evolves year on year.
Please post your thoughts on the same in the comment section below.
You left the features which Honor 6X didn have but 5X has it.
1. Dual Tone Flash
2. Exclusive Dual SIM and SD card slot
Especially because of the 2nd missing feature, Honor is going to loose many customers.

Mentioned about the dual sim.
For dual tone, not much difference as camera is much improved here.
In continuation to expand the reach and meet up with fans & consumers, Honor India, on 25th August, at Delhi, organized a fan/consumer meet up to get their valuable feedback, complaints, feature requests etc and provide solutions/explanation to address their queries. This was 3rd meet up in the list followed by Chennai and Mumbai. This meet up was for mainly Honor 6X and Honor 8 Pro users.
We shared many feedback, questions & answers and requested for some feature set which we would want to see in upcoming EMUI/phones. It was more of a feedback session and we, along with Honor officials, had a good interactive session.
Fans shared their views, questions, complaints/feedback and also suggested few of the things for community expansion/enhancements which Honor officials took very positively and provided thorough answers and for few of the questions raised, they assured that they will be taking it up further with R&D to work upon, like uniform OTA for all the devices, few of the bugs raised like theme issue, camera lag etc that they will be working internally to provide a better end user experience.

Few of the feedback/feature requests includes-
Double tap to wake up
remove knuckle gesture and ad shake gesture
Fingerprint integration with pattern
over exposed or more artificial looks on beauty mode
Reduce charging time

Well form is asking for model number so not sure if this would be limited to India or would be used for global variant. Others can fill and see if update is pushed.

Had my Note 8 Pro for 3 weeks now, previous phone was the Mi A2 Lite (SD625 3/32), android one was fun, but lacks certain features I wanted (also had a problem with screen flickering too), so switching to the Note 8 Pro was a huge leap. I didn't had much time experiencing MIUI 10 (again, previous phone was a stock android); immediately updated mine to MIUI 11 as soon as I connected to the internet; should've tried out the v10 first to have a solid comparison.

Again, it's a 8GB/128GB China ROM so here's what I've got so far:
Even though I haven't tested out the other MIUI phones, other than a Redmi 5A(which is a very solid entry-level phone) I can compare it's performance based on reliable YouTube reviewers (if some of you even believe them) these reviewers are GSMArena, TechZG, TechUtopia, C4ETech, Technology Jock, NickBrazer, Tech for Luddites, and some of my local (Philippines) tech reviewers; Sulit Tech Reviews, Yugatech, Unbox Diaries, and Techbeans.
From there, some of there review units are 6/64GB Global, so I have, somehow, a bit of information as to how the 6/64GB Global performs, also, based on the Antutu Score (which is not that 'reliable', I dare say) the 6/64 is far better than my 8/128 CN. First result had me on 289k compared to the 290k of the 6/64, then later attempts, only gave 283k
Also since this is a China Version, there's no Google Pay, third-party Launchers can't be used, maybe because of theme resources error, idk, but Poco Launcher compensates for that, I also tried side-loading the chinese version basic apps (GetApps, Themes, Browser, etc) I only succeeded with changing the Browser; the GetApps Global version is a totally different app from the Chinese variant, the Themes app cannot be "updated" to the Global because the Global's latest version number is lower than my Themes Apps' bare version, so there's that.
But comparison aside, I can really feel the perks of having 8GB RAM. The G90T is powerful, no kidding.
Also, if anyone have any questions or want me to try something with the Chinese Variant, feel free to ask below.
I just bought mine on Ali with global rom. Did you put a TWRP and root your phone already? Is there any specific way to do so or just like global ones, no differences?

I did install the Google Play Services, works well, but not to full extent; "Ok google" doesn't work, which is a feature I can live without, but what bothers me is that my location history can't be recorded.
