Lenovo's online-only smartphone brand, Zuk, has launched in China alongside its first handset - the Z1. The smartphone will go on sale starting August 18.
The Zuk Z1 features metal frames around the handset and includes no branding from Lenovo. There is only a Zuk logo branding at the back of the handset.
With its $280 price tag, ZUK is going head-to-head with a number of other thrifty Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi, Meizu and Elephone, and especially with the infamous OnePlus Two.

Think a couple of the specs in your post below need correcting, it supposedly has the Snapdragon 801 processor and a 64GB ROM
WIll be keeping an eye out for this, not sure if it will make it to Europe/UK or not. I've currently got a Oneplus One and spec wise this phone is almost identical apart from the bigger battery, nicer build materials/quality, fingerprint scanner, OIS on the rear camera OIS, 8MP front camera, USB Type C, dual SIM.

It has been said that elephone should have already received a first batch of ZUK Z1. This means automatically that it can not wait long in coming, until we have the goods available.
Once we have the product you can look forward to a first review in different languages before there are more reviews by external reviewers.

As I know, Elephone Company will support ZUK section overseas sales. Yeah,they are two different companies. Maybe ZUK caompany think elephone company is success in selling elephone p8000.

Ok thanks didnt know that. Looking forward to seeing more of this phone, it could be a great device with the hardware announced. I know its not the cutting edge of specs but it should still be a solid device.

This smartphone is so cool. Specs are also great.

Meizum MX6 is coming with Helio X20 Chipset to compete with Xiaomi MI5

Meizu has released the rumors that Meizu will announce Meizu MX6 or Meizu Pro 5 mini, as you know, Xiaomi Mi5 will come out on Feb on MWC, 2016 soon. Meizu seems to be released after Xiaom MI5 for most users’ thinking.
Sources say that the Meizu MX6 will be a more elegant design than the MX5 with a more rounded metal frame and new curved glass design. The body of the phone will be large enough for a 4000mAh battery.
Meizu MX6 will use curved screen and Flyme6 OS, it's said Samsung will provide its screen and processor, Samsung Exynos 8890 processor, and wireless charging.
About released date, it will be in the second half year. So what do you think of this Meizu MX6, which one will be better between Xiaomi Mi5 and Meizu Mx6?

Meizu MX6 will have 4000mAh battery and Helio X20 processor at 1799RMB.
According to reports this morning, the MX6 will support all current Chinese 3G and 4G LTE networks making it the first Meizu to be offered in one model compatible with all networks. This is good news for Chinese buyers but what about the rest of the hardware?
Apparently the Meizu MX6 will continue with a similar thin bezel design to the MX5, but will see an upgrade to the Mediatek Helio X20, 4GB RAM and a larger 4000mAh battery. The phone is also said to have an 8 mega-pixel front camera and 20.7 mega-pixel rear.
Will it surpass Xiaomi Mi5 or not?

Umi Rome has 3GB instead of Elephant's 2GB RAM. Rome has AMOLED screen while Elephant doesn't. Though Elephant has Android 6.0 instead of Rome's 5.1. The issue would be solved with next month's new ROM release according to official announcement. It's a tie at best.
As for Elephant vs. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. It's 720P vs. 1080P, 2800mAh v.s. 3060mAh, MTK 6753 v.s. Helio X10(6795) , are you kidding me?

we can't be sure elephone will kill UMI. So how about your idea?

The phones you mentioned are variants of Android One. Though their ROMs are updated faster, the first phone has only Snapdragon 410 and 2GB RAM, the second has Snapdragon 410 and 1GB. The Elephone has MTK 6753, which performs better than 410. So it's up to you, faster CPU or earlier access to ROM update.
Also, I don't think you want to use Android 7.0 with Snapdragon 410, just doesn't make sense.

The only one point because its better than another phone in this post.. its for a band 3g 4g lte have a special version for americas country... UMI Rome and xiaomi mi note 2 don't function very well in Americas... WCDMA 850mhz and 2g 850mhz

yeah, lenovo lemon 3 is different from lenovo lemo k3 note. it should be released eariler, why not announce now?

I think Xiaomi Redmi 3 better than Lenovo Lemon k3, and I bought my Xiaomi Redmi 3 from <Mod edit by @Darth : Link to commercial selling site removed.> , I have not received it yet, but it should arrive any day.

Will the phone (or Redmi 3) work in US at all? I have not been able to find any information indicating one way or the other.

sorry, right now it can be used in US for the network not supporting.

See my review of the Xiaomi Redmi 3 here, I'm super impressed with it. And it won't get LTE in US, but it will get 3G/HSPA+ though.

any one of you was able to flash GAPPS?

Dedicated slot for extended memory
From what I see it has dedicated slot for extended memory as well as dual SIM. Redmi 3 is a great phone but you have to chose between extended memory or second SIM so that counts me out.
