Has anyone tried this capacity on T2 Ultra phones?
It's not possible for me to buy one that I could return if it doesn't work, so I gotta make sure the phone can handle it before buying. I hope someone could shed some light on this, and thanks on advance.

I can only vouch for the 64GB, Which I am currently using in mine.
but xperia t2 ultra officially supports only 32 gb,right?
I use a Samsung Evo 128gb micro sd card on my T2 Ultra, no problems with the phone. The only inconvenience is that some File manager apps don't yet support 128gb, i use the stock File Commander app.
Although they don't list the CPU it will have in it but it will have 256GB of storage. There isn't really many other details about it and whether we will even see it outside of South Korea. Is the LG Lens really a smart move for LG after 11 years of failure to turn a profit with their mobile division? Personally, a rehash right up against the S9 and S9+ screams failure for LG once again. Is anyone else interested in this revision of the V30? I like what Huawei is doing with their Kirin 970 processor and their implementation of AI for their cameras, especially the P20's triple camera setup that is coming. Can LG deliver that kind of experience though with their AI implementation?

Good, maybe another development that could push the 64GB V30 price down faster.
As long as an SD slot is available with large capacity card support, it is usually more economical per GB to spend extra on a larger capacity card than on more internal memory beyond the basic 64GB. If a large enough card is available - and the recent 400GB micro SD card on the market means Sandisk or Samsung are not far behind with a faster & more reliable 512GB card.
As for all the AI and other new bells and whistles: No thanks.
It makes me wonder if this is going to be more of a newer dual-SIM model. When using dual-SIM, you lose the SD card slot so the extra internal memory would be a good thing. It would be nice to see the V30/V30+'s get cheaper faster. The S9's are a few weeks away and that will pretty much take the focus off of last generation tech like the V30. If LG can implement something like Huawei has done with the Mate 10 Pro, then that will interest me. I do hope LG gets their act together with their screens though. The uniformity issues are a lot more common than I personally had thought they were and need to be addressed.
So I pre-ordered the 512GB grey model assuming I would get 16GB ram however I read somewhere that the Exynos models would be limited to 12GB ram
Decided to contact Samsung direct and just had them confirm on live chat that UK 512GB models will only have 12GB ram. I can only assume this will be the same for all Exynos models
I myself am extremely disappointed not only because it would have been nice to have the 16GB ram and the bragging rights laugh but disappointed with Samsung for not specifying this and not having the specs listed clearly for this model
Be interested to hear others thoughts and if anyone else has had this confirmation and if anyone else will be changing their pre-order as I am because of this...
Just been into Samsung experience store and confirmed the 512GB ultra WILL have 16GB ram.

Which one did you go into? Even the specs listed for the new Exynos processor say it can only handle 12gb...
If it does come with 16gb great! But so much conflicting info but evidence is pointing to 12gb...
Trafford Centre, Manchester
honestly you wont need 16GB of RAM - dont even know why they bothered with it!!
as for storage - get 1TB sd for £200 and you will be safe
Was also advised S20 Ultra 512GB has now sold out for release day allocation.

More ram can hold more apps in the ram. They are also allowing a new app lock so that apps stay in ram all the time. As for storage, I'd rather have more internal than external (for loading purposes and other SD card issues).
yes i get it but what apps are you going to have open in the background that is going to eat thru 10 GB of ram
my laptop has 12GB ram and can run super intensive tasks

Music app, any game I was playing and had to drop asap, Google maps if I have to make a call or something.
Seems the information on this is very sparse and not specific, I've had many employees from Samsung tell me it comes with 12gb and 16gb, on the phone to them now trying to get clarification but what gives me the doubt is that the only spec sheet I've found for the Exynos 990 (we always get Exynos in the UK) says it's limited to 12gb ram
After a lengthy conversation I was assured the S20 Ultra 512GB comes with the Exynos 990 and 16GB ram
Looks like we will have to wait and see for release day to see if this is correct...
i found this year specs of the phone, when ordering - to be quite limited - it doesnt say anything about 16gb of ram when ordering on the sam website - just colour, model, 4/5g and capacity
honestly looking at my order details it doesnt even say what phone it is - just that i paid 1999+£5 delivery and the order number/shipping address and payment details

My point exactly and that's what's led to the confusion, even Samsung's staff are unsure
Let's wait n see
Pretty sure they would be I trouble for misseling.
https://www.samsung.com/uk/smartphones/galaxy-s20/
Clearly states 12/16GB of RAM
where are u seeing that
i can only see this
Halfway Down the page, under performance
https://s.amsu.ng/Ay7YSmzpPAWN
hmm you must be seeing a different page - i have no performance - just those options shown in the screenshot
the ultra should have 16gb of ram, i think the other models may only get 12.

Laptops aren't phones and phones aren't laptops, comparing the amount of RAM better the two is as dumb as comparing processor speed.

Hi,
I have Galaxy S20 g9810 with 12GB ram. But in AIDA64 IT shows total memory 10.3GB. Can someone confirm this? I don't mind really that it has 1.7GB less memory. It just strange. Thank you!
on mine it says I have 10.58GB
Thats normal, difference is used by kernel... Thats the way it is on all devices. S7 with 4gb ram had something like 3.2gb available for system and apps.
Hi everybody. I have a S21FE Snapdragon (G990B) version on BVB3 version so I plan to update to CVC6 and decrypt data for some testing on Afaneh's recovery.
My issue is that data file transfer is slow as hell, even if I use USB3, even with 3 differents cables and ports. Of course I don't want to lose it so I have to wait but to be clear
I've waited for 40 minutes and only approx 4-5Gb of data were copied for 65Gb in total.
Anyone else had this slow data transfer issue ?
I noticed this with a lot of small files. If you zip them, the same amount of data is transfered faster.
@DarkStar9173 Thanks for your reply. It seems to be the same for me. So I used FTP wich transfer big files slower but small files faster. I'm tired of these cables and their slow transfer speed...
I also noticed the S21 FE is extremly slow with transferring files to the pc. I compared it to the S21 Ultra and that one was very fast using the exact same cable. I have no idea why.
