[Q] Insert SIM card to access network services

Hey all. I made a big mistake. I accidentally flashed Android Revolution HD on my T889, not realizing that it wouldn't work. The ROM worked great, but I had no service or data.
I figured just flashing a ROM that was actually meant for the T889 would fix my issue, so I jumped on over to Jedi and the same issue persists. I'm at a loss and I'm not sure what exactly I can do to fix this. The information out there on this issue seems to be pretty spread out and inconclusive. I'm perfectly ok with reverting to a stock ROM if that is what I need to do. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be so greatly appreciated. Some answers I've come across are "flash the latest modem for your phone" but I can't for the life of me find working downloads for that.
I've also seen a few posts about IMEI related stuff. Unfortunately, I jumped right into this without the knowledge that I needed to back up my EFS folder. Do I have a brick on my hands?
I don't believe it's a baseband issue if it shows up under Settings-->About phone, you can also check your IMEI from the Status option there. Here's a modem I believe is the latest for your phone UVUCMK7 I don't have this phone so best of luck!

Thank you for the link. I'm going to try it and see if it works. Under Settings-->About phone my baseband shows up as unknown and under status so does my IMEI.

Fastboot / BL not showing correct variant name, bootloader version or baseband versio

Fastboot / BL not showing correct variant name, bootloader version or baseband version.. I have never see this happen ever. Everything still works fine. Not sure why the BL is messed up.
I tried running the unbrick tool and it still wasn't able to restore the information in fastboot.
Thoughts?
They are all like that.
Mine is also displays the same information, and I don't see a particular problem with it either since nothing breaks.

[QUESTION] Relocking phone.

Quick question:
I unlocked and rooted my RP, everything worked flawlesly, but I don't like the "advise" that appears at the bootloader every time I reboot the phone.
If I relock the phone, everything will work normally??? I mean, root and everything else will stay the same???

I'm not sure, but i think if you relock it you won't be able to boot the system unless all partitions are stock

I believe to relock the BL, you are doing so with the effort to roll back to unadulterated stock.
Therefore primitive response to your question is No.
Flash the stock firmware from your phone then relock after your first boot.

If you relook and still have a modified boot partition, anything that doesn't match the key signature stored in the EFI won't be able to load. Basically if it's not stock it won't load, ie won't boot and it'll give you a message about unable to boot instead.
Thanks a lot for all the answers!!!
I'm glad I didn't relocked it before waiting for answers, thank you!!!

By default it will erase all data, but there may be a way to modify the installer.
You'd have to Google that trick though. I don't know it.
I would assume you can flash the other ROM just fine but you might have to change the modem?
That is what I had to do when I flashed Euro ROM on my USA T-Mobile phone.
Other than modem, everything else worked fine.

First thing to learn when in a "development" world, make always backups. No matter what tutorials you follow, no matter what modifications you do, there is NEVER a guarantee it will all go smoothly, hence why you should be ready to backup your files before trying anything.

If your signal works fine, then don't worry about it.
If you can't access any cellular, then change to a modem that fits your region.
