[Q] Hidden Menu Enable Tool equivalent for S20 series? - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Is there a tool similar to this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxys10/comments/cw7b1b/enable_service_mode_on_vzw_samsung_devices/ that works on the S20 series (specifically S20 ultra)? It worked on the Note 10+ I had, but doesn't seem to work on the ultra. Any help would be appreciated!

For a rooted Exynos device it is simple:
echo -n "ON" > /efs/carrier/HiddenMenu
I can't comment on Snapdragon or locked bootloader variants.

Please a little help! Note 10+ 5g sm-n976n

Hello and awesome Easter everyone!
I live in Norway and used to have an Asus ROG Phone II until last week, I swapped it with a Note 10+ 5g Korean edition.
The phone is working nice and it is A LOT BETTER than the ROG, that phone is a powerhouse, but the software, not so much...
With this phone I have a few problems:
•Lots of stuff in Korean
•Cannot save home numbers with country code or the contact name won't show when anyone calls or text.
•Norwegian language not fully supported.
Everything else works flawlessly and I love the phone so I wonder if there is anyway I can fix this, even if I have to root, it's not a problem. Been thinking if I could flash firmware from the 975f as it 8s the same soc.
Will be very appreciated if someone could help me with this!
Have no problems with flashing and rooting, just don't do it for a long time. Thanks in advance!
Is it carrier branded? If so, try flashing the KOO csc firmware, that may help with some of your issues.
You can't flash the N975F firmware, as it's not meant for the 5G variant.
The N976B model is the 5G variant, but it also cannot be flashed to the N976N.
I have KOO installed now and i have all the "problems". I know the 976b have snapdragon 5g modem and i have exynos. Oh well gonna have to live with it! Thanks for the help!
SM-N976B is Exynos.
Edit: just curious, have you been able to get it working with 5G?
my sim is not 5g nor we have 5g in my area yet unfortunately

You can use PD MDM package blocker to kill the bloatware at boot up. Useful to have.
Thanks it's work =)) not exactly what i wanted to but it's fine . I disabled all the korean blootware :good:
If you open a individual app in PD, in the upper left corner is a box. If you check it the PD MDM widget will toggle any checked app on or off.
If will clear data in apks better than doing it in Settings can; presumably PD leaves no nulls.
If you ever get the flashing screen warning thing *oh no* you need to deactivate PD MDM as system administrator.
PD runs in safe mode! It's been very stable and haven't seen this happen in years.

flash koo firmwere download through sammobile
I have bought SM-N976N but the seller had flashed SM-N975F firmware in it. I have now flashed it with KOO version of SM-N976N but my problem is that the phone is not recognizing sims or carrier in it (not even 3G or 4G) Ping test is always failing. BTW I am from Pakistan.
So my question is , Can I flash OXM version of SM-N976B cz my region will be covered in it. Because samsung has not launched a PAK version of firmware of SM-N976N.
Please help how will I be able to get my sims working in Pakistan with or without root? Please help anyone.

Is there any SM-N975 variant with the qualcomm 855 that can be rooted?

I am looking for a Note 10+ from any US provider with the Qualcomm 855 chipset. Have any been successfully rooted?
No
Playa cat - might want to keep watch on this thread. If and when anything does avail itself for the N975U and N975U1 you will undoubtedly find an announcement made.

Can I flash Verizon branded Galaxy Note 10+ 5G to At&t

I have Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G from Verizon that I bought a year ago. It is fully unlocked and I changed my carrier to AT&T. However, I don't see wifi-calling feature anymore. So, I was wondering if I can flash it with AT&T firmware and get the wifi-calling feature back.
Model : SM-N976V ,
CSC : VZW
Can I flash with SM-N976U ? If so, can someone also point me to the download link for CSC:ATT ? I tried finding on sammobile but didn't find it (I see only T-mobile and TMK)
If the N976V is U4 or lower, short answer = possible, risky.

Enable eSIM feature on Samsung S20+ SM-G986W

Hello Experts,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G purchased in Canada and not associated with any service provider. I am planning to use it in India and I have 2 SIM's in India. Samsung Canada Firmware does not have eSIM feature and there is no SIM Card Manager function in settings. Can I flash any other region firmware and have the eSIM feature enabled ?
The question should b e, does the snapdragon variant support e-sim, cos am stuck with a S20 +5g purchased in usa but no e-sim
Galaxy devices in India are typically Exynos variants which offer eSIM functionality. Flashing different firmware on a Galaxy S Series Snapdragon variant won't enable eSIM. None of Galaxy's Snapdragon variants except The Fold are eSIM capable.

Hi guys, I finally got rid of my G986W. I've converted it to G986U1:
Firmware: https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G986U1/TMB/G986U1UES3GWA2
SAMFW Odin Flash: https://samfw.com/blog/samfw-frp-tool-1-0-remove-samsung-frp-one-click
Just flash firmware with included Odin Flash (Add all files except HOME_CSC and don't use USERDATA.
I've flashed and my S20+ reborn as a true phone with eSim functionality and etc.

It does, bit esim is disabled in Canada, by soft. Instal U1(xaa) instead of W soft, esim will be enabled.
Have u tried installing a Esim? Is it working fully?

all s20+ 5g should support esim. (esim is inegrated to a snapdragon chip) BUT some of them are dissabled by software. but such a models like 986U or 986V, for example, were lock by operator and you could not install a software from U1, that includes esim support. i might be wrong. i installed U1 soft to a 986W model (that was without esim support. Now, esim works perfect. s20+ updates online. samsung pay works correct, knox works as well)

Samsung s20+ change firmware from SM G986U1 to SM G986N (korean)

I want to flash a different region firmware (in this case korean) on my device, an s20 plus unlocked (with csc xaa). The reason is that I wish to unlock 5g band n78 that the us firmware of my device does not support. I know that I cannot flash a european exynos firmware, but the korean model SM g986n has the same soc (snapdragon 865) and is single sim. In another thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flashing-from-sm-g986n-to-sm-g986u1.4072579/) the owner of a Korean s20 plus attempted to do the opposite and supposedly failed, because its korean model lacked mmwave 5g antennas that the american model supports (albeit probably calibration on the chipset is different). So thit is my question: is the reverse operation possible? Do I risk to brick the phone because of hardware limitations? Do I have to unlock the bootloader to flash the korean firmware or samsung frp tool could do the trick? I am open to suggestions here, thank you in advance.
