If that happens, connect your cable into pc, PRESS and HOLD vol up button and then connect your phone, the phone will boot up into recovery mode, you can restart there.
Same as vol down button, but instead recovery mode it will boot into fastboot mode, you need fastboot installed in your pc, and use this command; fastboot reboot
Idk you have to use usb pc connection though, you can give it try with wall charging.

Ah, my bad, I didn't see, I though it only power button.
So what you want is disable offline charger, so you can't charge when the device turn off it'll boot instead and the thing is its kernel related.
But you can try disable offline charging using fastboot mode, fastboot oem off-mode-charge 0
Idk if still work or not
EDIT: I tried by myself, it didn't work

[Q] Boot into fastboot?

I maybe missing something simple entirely, but after a lot of goolging I haven't found any answers. I'm following the guide on unlocking the bootloader for my phone with fastboot: xperiagamer.com/Beginners-Guides/unlock-the-bootloader-ramge[dot]html (cant post links yet) How ever I am unable to get my phone to boot into fastboot mode. Removing the battery and holding down any one of the following keys, back, menu vol down, shows my phone as "S1Boot Download" in control panel. And fastboot.exe does not find the device at all.
How do i get my phone to boot to "S1Boot Fastboot"?
Is there a different button I'm supposed to be pressing?
Is there some setting I'm missing?
Is there something I need to install before hand?
Phone is xperia play SO-01D.
You're not supposed to remove the battery to get into fastboot... You just power off the phone then hold down the search button as you plug it into the PC, not letting go of search until the power button turns blue

I tried :
*holding the power until given option to turn off.
*holding down search button
*while still holding down search button, plugs in usb cable
-Sony Ericson Logo Appears
-Phone goes into recharge mode
-Power button is red.
I tried this with home button and vol up button. Same thing. I was removing the battery before each try to make sure that the phone was completely powered off.
I tried using the adb on the command line"
adb reboot fastboot
and my phone just booted up normally. If it's a NTT docomo phone then is it possible that fastboot has been disabled by the carrier?
No idea if it's disabled by carrier, but it doesn't sound good
Not sure if this applies but, with the R800X and R800AT, you must have an unlocked bootloader before you can boot into fastboot....
Then to enter Fastboot you must power off the phone, press and hold the 'search' button, and attach to computer USB port.
Try installing driver on flashtool maybe.

How to shutdown w/o touch input

So my Note 10+ screen broke so that I can only see the top 15% and only touch the bottom 60%. I booted into TWRP to backup everything, and now I'm in a situation where I can't turn the thing off. I am unable to press the shutdown button, only the download mode and recovery mode buttons. I am also unable to press the ADB side load button to send a shutdown command. It will be quite some time before I am able to fix the screen, so I don't want the phone battery to be sitting dead and degrading for a month or more. I already tried draining the battery and then plugging it in to charge, but the phone automatically booted into TWRP.... hardware key combos only reboot, they won't shut down...
Does anybody have an idea how to power off my device? Or to reboot into system or gain ADB access without being able to use the touchscreen? Thanks for the help
TWRP should allow you to use adb commands already.
You can use fastboot continue

I am trying to use adb from another Android device to the broken device using an otg cable, but the ADB otg app does not recognize it. From my memory, when I had tried to use adb in TWRP I always had to go into advanced and press the ADB side load button, but maybe this is different with fastboot? Unfortunately I do not have access to a computer right now, or a mouse for that matter.

What are you trying to do exactly?
A bit convoluted but ...
Volume down + Power - forced reboot, right after vibration with USB cable on switch to Volume Up + Power . maybe boot to recovery !?
Odin - Set get system Info on - force reboot ?

Thanks for the recommendation, but the problem is that I am stuck in recovery mode. I am able to boot into recovery and download modes, but not into the normal system mode. If I could boot into system mode I should be able to use the lower half of the screen to shutdown the device, or use adb.

T-Mobile 7T Cannot Enter EDL Mode its Entering to Fastboot Mode Always

I tried ton of time while pressing Vol Up+Down Always T-Mobile 7T entering to Fastboot Menu.
Please someone help me.
Sorry for my English
Thank you
Your phone has to be off for it to go into EDL Mode. turn phone off then try again.
The commands ur using is for fastboot it sounds like.
Follow these steps:
Hold down Volume Up + Volume Down buttons for few seconds and plug in the USB cable, which is already attached to the computer from another side. Keep pressing until you see EDL mode. (Note: Make sure you have USB connected in PC before connecting it to the smartphone while pressing both the buttons.)

Question Why wont my S22 go into Download mode or recovery mode?

So I have spent hours now looking around for an answer the phone is find my phone locked and I can't remember my pin code. I have done all the tricks with the combination keys.
The usual way to get into Recovery mode is Hold V+ and power until the phone vibrates and you should be in recovery mode release the keys. (Doesn't work)
Iv read that you should have the USB cable connected from pc/laptop while you do the same holding V+ and power button... (doesn't work ether)
and download mode should be very easy just hold V+ and V- plug USB cable from pc/laptop and you should get into download mode by pressing V+. Will only show charging Icon and that's its.
So is it possible to turn off this modes from the manufactor? Or is this a completely new security future? How can you use odin? How can you wipe the cache? If you end up having some issues.
Im going nuts....
No way to get into fastboot ether. So if anyone know why this is happening to me or got any solution I would appreciate it.
Plug in your cable with the phone turned on. Hit Power Off and wait for the phone to fully turn off. The charging logo will show up so let the animation do its thing. After maybe 20 seconds, press Volume up + Power and keep them pressed until you boot to recovery. If the command wasn't recorded in the first place and the phone is still off after more than 15 seconds, let go of the buttons and press them again and keep them pressed until it boots in Recovery

It will not work. How the hell should I be able to cle3ar cache if I got a boot loop ??? They can't just turn off recovery mode mand download mode??? This is so strange even paying for a frp reset but not even he does know what wrong??? Can they turn off fastboot, recovery mode and Download mode on this new phones? Is it because its locked with find my phone? 1 week researching now. It will only vibrate. And my PC cant find my phone anymore worked fine 30min ago nothing has changed... So annoying never seen this happened before every combination with buttons to get in any mode doesn't work only vibrates and go to pin lock screen...
Take it to a Samsung Experience center at best buy. Or send it into Samsung for repair.
download mode:
Turn off phone
plug cable in pc but not in phone
pres "volume +" and "volume -" in the same time
plug cable in phone
recovery mode:
plug cable in pc and s22
power off
press "volume +" and power
wait until see recovery mode

thats a solid advice assuming his bootloader/recovery/download mode is fully functional then this advice works, in his case and in mine too it does not work and trying to get to the root of the problem is the key. In my case recovery mode gives error on screen so it may have to do with the way firmware is installed as these modes are not accessible.
have you sorted it out? Its nearly a year onwards =)

This, at index 2:48 minutes.
It needs to be connected to the PC. Another screwy quirk Samsung added recently. Your button timing/sequence matters as well.
On my N10+'s you can go into recovery directly with a restart if you do it right. Otherwise they will puke on you.

Question No usb , no bootloader mode only recovery mode reboot sur 1+

Hi,
My Oneplus 11 phone that I had converted from Colors OX to Oxygen OS following a restart only reboots on 1+, sometimes it goes to the recovery menu, the use of the power and volume keys to return to fasboot mode no longer have any effect... it hasn't even been recognized by a pc... Except the usb to charge seems to be working. What can I do in the face of so much mishap because I can't find a solution?
Thanks
Same situation here. I've tried everything for a month. No luck. Only thing you can do is send it back to Oppo or Oneplus
msm tools is the only thing can save it but require official authorization to log in. So don't bother trying anymore.

Try holding volume up + volume down during boot, it should go into bootloader mode (start holding them before you power on the device by pressing the power button and continue holding them during boot). If it doesn't go into bootloader mode it's very weird because recovery is loaded after the bootloader.

if i press the three buttons when booting in fact it turns on and off faster then i stop the three buttons, it stays on the 1+ screen for a long time fixed then arrives at the language screen

I corrected but I think it's because I press the volume and power button that it launches in fastbootd but no more bootloader and no ubs recognition
Any idea please ? no chance for me

Very strange, fastbootd is inside the recovery and could be unbootable but normal bootloader mode should work nonetheless. Try having the phone connected to PC why attempting the button combination, maybe they added this security measure.
This device is hard bricked. I faced the same issue. Any key combinations won't take you to fastboot to fix. I gave it to service centre to fix.

He has got a very strange brick, he can boot to recovery but not to bootloader, so it's not an hard brick like when you can only go into EDL mode. Did seriously OnePlus remove the possibility to enter bootloader mode with a key combo??? They make it worse with every phone they release, first edl, now fastboot. What will be next?
