My Mi Max 3 suddenly turned of and then it only stayed in the boot logo. I tried to go to recovery mode but it was not possible and did not want to. It can only go to fastboot mode. I tried to flash firmware but it said it was locked. tried to unlock the bootloader but it said that i need to tick it on developer mode settings first. All is stock and latest firmware.

Phone won't boot into recovery mode

I wanted to initially factory reset my phone through settings, but the phone was stuck on the "Erasing..." screen with the little Droid. I tried to go into recovery mode but it takes me back to the same screen.
I think the zenfone 2 recovery mode is locked and you have to unlock to use it

Bootloop

The phone is stuck in the bootloop. It has original firmware (Lolipop) and the bootloader is locked.
So when the phone turns on it is kept alive for about 30-40 second and than it's starting to reboot. I have tried to turn on developers options in that time(and succeeded) but on the next boot developers options are turned of. Also I have tried to uninstall some random app (also succeeded) and also the app is here on the next boot.
Also tried to factory reset the phone ... nothing happens.
Also tried to uninstall apps or turn on developers options from Safe mode.
Any other ideas. (My plan was to flash custom ROM but I cant even unlock bootloader )
It's my fathers phone...it is end of the year and he is MAD AS HELL
Managed to unlock bootloader.
Does anyone know where is option to turn of fastboot on Lolipop. (on Kitkat it was under Power-Fast boot) ?

Black Screen When Trying to Boot

Just got a SM-G938T in the mail last night and I went to get it ready for use as my daily driver by rooting and such but something went wrong and now when I attempt to boot to the OS, the phone is just showing a black-non powered screen, (it may just be powered off).
What I did was:
1. Activated developer mode. Enabled USB debugging and OEM unlock.
2. Download mode. Used Odin to flash official TWRP.
3. Rebooted to TWRP. Flashed stock modified kernel by jovy23 from https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6-edge-plus/orig-development/kernel-stock-modified-kernel-touchwiz-t3229557.
4. Rebooted back to TWRP. Wipe. Full Wipe. Installed DarthStalker https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6-edge-plus/development/rom-darthstalker-note5-version-2-aroma-t3217247.
The installer was AROMA. I selected all my options and the ROM says it was all installed and gives me the option to reboot. I select it and the phone starts to restart. I see the Galaxy S6 edgeplus screen and then black.
I can get into recovery and download modes again., but nothing I have tried seems to work.
Got it all fixed after about 6 hrs of trail and error!

Bootloader locked, bootloop. How can I repair?

Hi
My phone is a G5 that was as new, never altered: bootloader was still locked, USB debugging and other special stuff were never changed.
Suddenly, the phone entered in bootlook, and booting in recovery mode shows "baseband: unknown".
Is there a way to repair the phone by reflashing it to stock rom in these circumstances?
Thank you for your help!
You can either
Enter recovery mode and format data and see if the phone boots
Or flash stock firmware via fastboot
Both of these can be done on a totally unmodified phone
