Hey everyone, I own a Galaxy Note 5, I recently switched from Nougat 7.0 to LineageOS 17.1.
There's a theme I enjoyed using while running the phone's stock Nougat 7.0, I applied with the 'Galaxy Themes' app.
Since I'm now on LineageOS 17.1, I'm unable to open the app when I install it. It gives me this message: "Galaxy themes keeps stopping" (I've attached a screenshot below).
Please help if possible at all.
Thanks in advance.

Is that so? What's the reason for it? What seems to be the limitation?

Good day people of the internet.
Sadly I came across a problem after installing magisk manager and flashing it to my Galaxy S9 (sm-g960fd). I often get the "black screen of death" and am forced to hard reset my phone. This problem only occurs when magisk is installed. I'm running magisk 17.1 with the latest app on the newest Samsung os (android 8.0 with September patch).
Any help is more than welcome!

Hi,
I have installed Pixel Experience Android Pie Rom and recently got a system update through it. While I try to install it through TWRP, I get an "Updater Error 7" in red color font. I tried with latest TWRP as well as Orange Fox Recovery. Also tried by downloading latest rom directly from the website.
I tried the other workaround by editing updater script file and gets "Error 6".
I never had these issues when I installed Pixel Experience for the first time from MIUI 10.
Is there something that can be done to fix this issue?
Model : Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred)
Android Version : 9 (Pie)
Thanks in advance.

Update : For anybody experiencing the same problem, I guess it is an issue with that particular build (May 23 update of PE).
You may wait for the next Official update or switch to any other Rom otherwise. I have switched to Havoc OS and is loving the option to be able to get more customizations.
Hope this helps.
So i recently re-installed Lineage OS on my old nexus 5 and i was wondering, how can i install Xposed on to it, with framework and app and all that? With the search results online i am not getting really far, i don't quite know what version to install , how to do it etc....
Note: i need Xposed specifically to install multiple custom watchfaces on a huawei watch GT2.
I tried installing a version, but it just reseted my phone, and when i check the Rooted sate of the phone i get "not rooted" or something like that.
I installed LineageOS via TWRP on the phone.
Can you guys help me out here? i did not root or install custom FW on a phone in a loong time and i am out of the loop of recent hacks and stuff.
Thanks in advance

Main point for xposed: what Android version? For xposed I recommend nougat. LinageOS 14.1 is still getting security patches.

Hi all.
I already asked this question on the Samsung S10e forum without luck. I hope to find some help here, please be patient with me
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e, model SM-G970F/DS, that is currently running Samsung's official Android 12. LineageOS 18.1 install documentation tells me that Android 10 or 11 is required to proceed with the installation. I don't think it is possible downgrade the phone to Android 11 (correct me if I'm wrong).
What do I risk if I attempt the LineageOS 18.1 installation? How "unbrickable" is this device?
It would be safer to install this LineageOS 19 beta https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-you-for-s10e-s10-s10-s10-5g-exynos.4346535/ ?
Thanks in advance for any hint!
I'm long gone from Samsung, but downgrading should be possible with Odin. Quick Google search gave me this guide: https://www.droidwin.com/downgrade-samsung-one-ui-4-0-to-one-ui-3-1/
I recommend using Sammobile for rom download. Should get you started.
Your other questions I have no answer.

I'm happy using MGC 8.1.101 on a Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy S10e. Might be worth a try on a Note 10+.
If you haven't got GApps and are running a vanilla type of custom operating system, you'll need Gcam Services Provider apk installed to get it to work. Might be the solution for the crashing problem you have with ZGCAM

hi mate, tnx for your quick reply can you tell me where exactly download all that stuff ?
Tnx in advance
Here is one link for the app https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1519/
I'll see if I can find the Gcam Services Provider apk. Are you running a custom operating system? If so, is it vanilla? Or with Google Services?
Here's some info about the GCam Services Provider for those using a custom operating system without Google Play Services (GApps) https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/troubleshooting/#help12
and link to the releases: https://github.com/lukaspieper/Gcam-Services-Provider/releases
I noticed MGC is up to version 8.4 now, but I haven't tested it.
I am on Lineages os 19.1 on my note10+ , yes it have google services installed, i also have Lygisk installed.

Since you have Google Services installed, then you shouldn't need the Gcam Services Provider apk. (I've never tried LineageOS with GApps though)

i tested your cam ,, it crashes most probably because it is for android 10 , and i am on android 12.
Interesting. MGC is working on my Galaxy S10 5G running LineageOS 19 right now. I guess you could try the Gcam Services Provider apk to see what happens.
