I Really Wanna know how i can change csc of s20+. I have seen many diff methods but i cant seem to understand it. If someone can help, plz let me know the method. I have also heard about samkey but dont know how to operate it.
Thanks
Go to samkey.org from a PC/laptop, download and install samkey on your computer.*
Even if on their website they say G988N it's not supported, it works. (my G986N changed the CSC)*
Go to ebay and buy samkey credits ( they sell min 3 credits for about 8$) in 10-20 minutes after you buy, you'll receive a message with username and password. With them, login into samkey, remove the simcard, connect the phone to the computer with a USB-a to usb-c cable ( the original USB-C to USB-C cable i heard that can have issues), choose the desired CSC (KOO for korean "international) an click change CSC.
In case your device it's not an G98xN version, check on sammobile what are your available CSCs according to your model.
After that your phone will reboot without carrier bloatware and boot animation. Your data files will remain intact.

You have to choose the correct ROM first. So if your phone is SM-A505F you need that ROM. Not recommended to use other ROMs like SM-A505 FN, G etc.
Once you have the correct ROM (must be newer than your current) use Odin 3.13 or newer to flash your phone . before flashing do back up and then remove all accounts!!! Then remove your SIM and memocard and do hard reset. Connect to Odin in download mode and flash. Wait till its completely finished and boot up your phone. 1st boot can take up to 10 minutes, once you see the Start screen insert the SIM card from desired region and let the phone restart again.
My phone for some reason picked up CAC product code (Uzbekistan). Flashed latest ROM inserted my Vodafone SIM and after restart my phone was on BTU (UK unbranded).
is flashing different CSC ROM will trip Knox
I my case this method for FN version did not worked any different way to do it?

No it wont trip knox as long as you are flashing official samsung firmware.
OK I investigate a bit today
looks like I was able to change CSC from ROM to FTM (Freanch Orange) using brand Orange from Poland (OPV) - all was done with JUN patch the same patch level files
I would like to change from ROM to XEO (Poland unbranded) and for this I did not found any way to work

I think that it's somehow let you change the CSC only one time... I recalling that I was able to do it on my A50 and A70 but only one time...
in my case it is more like I can change to branded CSC like orange or T-Mobile ( did this few time) but it not give me Poland as a country
I cannot change to unbranded CSC like XEO - it always show ROM as active CSC (softwanre CSC it is showing XEO) but for example news I have from Romania

You didn't say what region you want. In my case I was after UK (BTU) or Germany (DBT).
Do hard reset (sim and memory card remove). Turn on phone without sim and wait until it says No sim inserted. Insert the sim from region or country you want to have on your phone.
Make sure you have multi CSC ROM. In my case it was ok. Changed from CAC to BTU.

There's no LTE/4G only mode. So if this is what you want no need for flashing different ROM.

You need multi CSC ROM. First time boot up without sim and memory card. When boot finished will tell you insert sim. I think Samsung set up phones to allow ONLY one change and only first time...

Hi,
c
You have to use the same model to flash in Odin. 976B is not 976N.
You can flash the KOO firmware for 976N which is the unbranded version (I bought it myself at a Samsung shop in Seoul).
I tried to flash with 976B and got errors. I flashed with KOO 976N but srill i have brand of KT when i start the phone also some settings of KT.
No idea why KT still stays after flashing

Right, because 976B is not the phone you have. You can't use a different model firmware.
Sounds like you need to change the CSC to KOO after boot up.

You said you flashed KOO firmware. That is not the same thing as switching CSC after booting up.
There is a phone menu to change the CSC. You need to do this, which will change the CSC setting on the EFS partition which is what you need to do.
Woow thank you for that. Now this is new and i didn't know it. Can you help me and let me know where to change CSC.
Thanks

The SM-N976N has 4 CSC options built-in. KOO is the unbranded Samsung code. There are 3 for the 3 major carriers in Korea: SK Telecom, kt Olleh, and LG U+
No I did not change my CSC because I bought my phone in a Samsung store in Seoul.
I have KT one , when i switch one says 5G and under screen KT.
also in setting. I am trying to find the way to change the CSC from KTC to KOO
Active KTC
Edit
Ohhh no way that bad
For me only Samsung pay ,5G, start up the phone, phone can't recognize my number rather than that everything else is perfect.
I am trying to find way to change CSC to KOO, hopefully will work

Do you mean your N10+ doesn't connect to the 5G network even if it's present and working in your zone?
Yes i don't see 5G at all even covered in my country. Always LTE+
Weird.. where are you from?
Our model is 5G, I suppose SM-976B only is suitable for 5G networks over asian countries, hope someone could tell me I'm wrong...

I don't know the specs of the B variant, but my N variant 5g worked in Korea just fine. Haven't been able to test it in the USA yet because T-Mobile doesn't have any 5g towers in my state yet.
In my country, UAE according to bands only N976N working since the are on same 5G band.
N976B isn't working with UAE network (5G). I bought and sold N976B.
Also now N976N is not working coz of carrier, KT from Korea.
Does anyone know how to correctly change CSC on the Canadian N975W? I purchased a used Note 10+ that the previous user bought from Samsung direct but had a Bell sim so the CSC shows BMC and has bell bloatware. I'm trying to change it to KDO but no luck with any firmwares yet. Any ideas or steps I'm missing?
Tried both KDO and XAC firmware but the file names seem that they're the exact same from both updato and SamFirm.
Using patched odin and everything loads fine - using CSC not the Home CSC.

Mate you can only change the csc to one that matches the Region model. The best csc to change to for your model is KOO which is Korean unbranded. Download samkey then install on PC. Purchase Samkey credits on eBay which is the cheapest way. The username and password will be sent to your email address once purchased on eBay. Changing csc only uses 1 credit. Once you start samkey click on help button and it will tell you how to setup your phone for the process. In the csc tab on Samkey type in the csc you want to change to "KOO" then click change csc and the tool will do the rest. Your handset should restart to get rid of the SKT branding and bloatware etc.

say i change to KOO version, after i hard reset my s20 ultra. will it remain as KOO version?
secondly, i just bought the korea s20 ultra. when people call me. i cannot see their name only see their number. however i do have their saved in myh contact list. the problem is that i save them with my country code.
so for example. im from singapore.
i saved as ali, +65 1234 4567
the caller id always only display as
1234 4567.
it does not recognise the +65 country code.
i can change all my contact to without +65 but when i am travelling it will be a headache to change again.

Hi all,
I purchased an A52s 5G (SM-A528B/DS, snapdragon version) last week. I never had a Samsung before so I’m learning now about CSC and such.
I noticed that I don’t have the call recording function even though my country should support it (ILO). As it turns out the device has XSG CSC (I guess it’s a non-official parallel import).
I gathered information around the forums and I’m trying to understand if I can change the CSC by factory reseting and doing the device setup while my ILO SIM card is installed.
Apologies if my questions are stupid and the answer is obvious, but I couldn’t piece it together.
I’m trying to avoid tripping Knox to retain my warranty.
I read somewhere that ILO and XSG are part of the same multi-CSC group (OJM) and that it should work?
I read somewhere else that it no longer works on One UI 3.1/Android 11 versions?
I read somewhere else again that samkey may be a viable solution?
So should I try just by factory resetting the phone? Or try samkey? Or?
Is there any way to change CSC on the fly and avoid having to factory reset the device?
Thanks so much in advance,
Tal
I used to require a SIM to change the CSC but was able to do without it this time.
Doesn't trip Knox. There's a list of countries that details which have call recording built in.

To anyone who might encounter this in the future, My phone was bought trough GoMobile a parallel importer in Israel who didn't have call recordings available although the official one had.
I used SAMKEY in order to change the CSC into "ILO" the Israeli CSC and it worked getting me back the recordings and even had gotten OTA's after it.
I bought an A52s 5G on Amazon UK, and the model that arrived was a Romanian one. I find two things very odd: there is nothing outside the box to indicate that the device is not a UK one (product code would suffice), and when opening the box (which was untampered, as expected) it had a UK plug charger, adding to the fact that the device was destined for the UK market. The back of the device shows a sign for compliance with UK CA standards, and booting it first time, it greeted me in English. However, soon after I figured out the shortcomings and I found that CSC is set to ROM. Factory resetting the phone with a UK sim didn't make much difference however this time the phone greeted me in Romanian. While I've resolved the issue with.. the usual method, I find it dodgy and either the seller went to great lengths to hide the originating country or Samsung is creating these devices targetting Romania but actually making them look British, for.. reasons? Both possibilities are weird.

did you succeed? do you have call recording?
For some reason I've never been able to buy a Samsung that used a single sku CSC.
Even with ICCID locked devices they always shipped with the multi-csc/multi-csc2, so I've always been able to use a SIM Card to change out carriers unless the EFS/CSC partitions blocked it partially.
And even in those couple cases, I've always been able to cross-flash carrier firmware for that device to switch networks when need be.
This method even allowed me to use my AT&T locked Galaxy Note5 with T-Mobile Firmware. The only bug was the AT&T Modem's lack of hardware support for all of the TMO network bands.
Other than that. I even bested the Geek Squad at Best Buy...
This method worked on my A32x 5G.
