Hello all,
I am on my third Galaxy Note 10 plus from At&t as my phone will not update OTA to the latest version of Android. I have called customer service probably about seven to eight times and they say they push the update but I never get it. I have looked but don't see my build firmware on the Sam site so I'm not sure what to do next? Any thoughts from anyone? Thanks in advance
At&t does not post their firmware, why I do not know. I had this issue with my Note 8..Note 9...and now Note 10 plus. All the carrier firmware is the same. Just download the latest firmware and flash with Odin. The firmware will provision to your At&t sim. No need to wait for OTA's

Where
Hi do you know where I can find these firmware links along with odin?
Sammobile has the firmware and Odin. Frija is best much faster to load the firmware. You can get the correct version of odin that you need from Sammobile, Frija only has the latest firmware whereas sammobile has numerous versions. Just remember once you upgrade your bootloader there is no flashing back to a previous version unless the bootloader is the same. So if your bootloader is U1 or S1 and flash to U2 or S2 you cant go back to 1. The only time you can flash back is if say Pie is U1 or S1 and the version of Android 10 is still U1 or S1.

While you can load any version, if you don't load a version that ATT released, you'll be in the same boat with it not updating next month. You should see what version att currently has, and load that version. Make sure to use HOME CSC to avoid a wipe.
No need to wait for ota when you can just flash it. Actually I think the only At&t firmware posted for 10 plus on Sammobile is the U1 unlocked firmware.

So I bought the note from newegg. Turned out that it is a hongkong version. My friend got a uk version and they have additional official font styles, which are reallly nice. So my question is if i root the phone. Can i flash the uk stock room to my hongkong note 2? Also, if there is ota update for the uk version, will i be able to update ota?
In other word, Is there any way i can completely transform my hongkong note 2 to uk note 2?
1. if it's rooted, you can flash any rom you want (any rom that made for N7100 only or N7105 only... be careful, there's diff. between the 3G n LTE vers.)
2. if rooted, there will be no more OTA (even if its stock), unless you unroot it again.
3. complete transform : software-wise possible, hardwae-wise nope, there might be some parts with diff. code for diff. country
u dont need to root for just flash a official rom, just download at sammobile and flash by odin
if u just want the flip font, u dont need to root, just download the package and install the apk, then u can choose from setting, u can search in here

I got mine from the grey market and its also from hongkong since the out of the box firmware is from hongkong. You dont need to root your device to flash a stock firmware. Just make sure to flash compatible firmware. If your device is the N7100 aka the international version flash only N7100 firmwares. You can check sammobile.com and click on firmwares and, on search just type in N7100 if you have the international version and N7105 for the LTE version. After you have downloaded your desired firmware, extract the zipfile and flash it thru odin. Just find some tutorials how to flash thru odin. Trust me its a very simple process its like a 5 mins process literally. And yeah once you got your regions firmware you will be able to received OTA updates.

3 of u have provided excellent support to me. Wish I could press Thanks button 100 times.
Thank you three
I really appreciate it
Just one more clarification.
Do I need the software called Odin to flash an official UK rom, or I can just download to my pc and run it with the phone plugged in?
Also If I flashed official UK rom, I will be able to update UK OTA update right? Of course without rooting.

Yeah u need odin to flash any stock rom. also install samsung kies in your pc because you need the driver ( so that your pc will be able to recognize your phone when plug into your pc). Aftr installing samsung kies just exit it but dont uninstall. Yeah once you flash a stock rom for your region you will be able to receive OTA updatea. Try youtube there are tons of tutorial on how to flash thru odin i even started there.

Guys
My mobile model is SM-N750 (Indian edition).
I have successfully flashed stock firmware thru ODIN earlier. Recently I changed my firmware to Pakistan from Sammobile.
Now I like to go back to Indian firmware, however it is failing again & again. I am though successfully able to flash Pakistan firmware again.
Phone is working properly but cant go back to Indian firmware.
Please check.
I know how to flash in ODIN. This is something diff.
1- Try another source of odin, same version but another source
2- Try flashing the firmware more than once, it will work in one of them
3- Try different firmware and see if it worker, then the problem is with the firmware
4- Make sure the files are for your mobile version
Thanks for your reply.
I have tried 3 firmware files. No luck.
I think I guess what is the issue. Pak firmware version is higher than Indian firmware version. So the bootloader has been changed. That is the reason it is not allowing to install a lower bootloader firmware.
I hope once sammobile will have KK firmware downloadable I would be able to flash that.
I am successfully able to flash Indian Kitkat ROM from Sammobile.
So the point to be noted...You can not go back to old firmware once you upgraded to new one.

That did not work. I have tried that earlier. It was older that PAK firmware...
Now I am successfully flashed Kitkat.
I'm new to Android and flashing. I flashed the unlocked firmware but how do I go back to the VZW firmware?
I've found one on updato but even though it's labeled as VZW it was T-Mobile firmware.
Check sammobile
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8/SM-G955U/VZW/
Is it possible? Tried this using latest Odin with "failed (auth)" error. It seems Active is using boot loader version 2 while the other models are using version 4 already. However I thought boot loader upgrade is allowed?
Thanks.
I'm looking for the answer. Hope we get help...
what are you wanting from a stock Verizon firmware ?
If you're trying to flash a regular S7 firmware onto an Active you're asking for a bricked phone.
I'm looking to remove bloatware. It's been done on all other S7 variants.
flash the combination file then flash the csc from the verizon s7 g930v using mobile odin then dial *#243203855# and choose the vzw then choose full installation then flash the stock firmware back
Can your further explain? Will this flash Verizon firmware?
So when my Verizon 975U unlocked after the 60 days, I flashed the U1 firmware. I tried to go back to Verizon firmware so I could accept the update to try out A10 but Odin kept failing. I looked it up and it says the downloaded version and bootloader is older than installed. Is there any work around? I have downloaded the stock OEM 975U firmware from Sammobile. I'm using the U1 with December Security Patch. Thanks

Regrettably that is not possible.
You can flash firmware that has a bootloader version equal to (or higher) then what is currently on your phone.
You can not flash firmware that has a bootloader version less then what is currently on the phone.
In the future remember to take note of the bootloader version you have and that of the firmware your trying to flash. The bootloader is the number that is 5 characters in (starting at the far right as character number 1, count left for a total of 5 characters. The number you see is the bootloader version) when you look at the baseband version.
