Is there a screenprotect on the Oneplus 2 from factory?

Hi all,
I got my OP2 Yesterday!
I looked on amazon for some accessories. When i looked my phone a bit closer it looks like there already is a screenprotector on the display.
Someone else discovered that?

Yes, and it was scratched within a couple of days for me. I was gonna replace with the cheapest one I could find, which strangely enough was a tempered glass one form amazon.

I just replaced mine with an Orzly tempered glass SP and I'm quite impressed tbh

Just swapped it for a tempered glass one and the difference is huge, so much smoother and clearer with proper colours being shown. Yellow tinge has gone as well and screen is alot crisper

Thats what I thought too
But I had my tempered glass one ready before getting my OPT so I just installed it right away.

i have buy tempered glass from ebay and now i thinking don't want to install it until original protector is working

Yes OP2 has built in screen guard confirmed by company itself. no need to go for screen guard except if we want tampered screen

When I replaced mine for a tempered glass product the first thing I noticed is the quality difference. If your gonna spend lots of money on a phone then your gonna want to protect the screen. Saying that you can get away with stock screen protector if you have a leather flip case and your careful. I actually only replaced mine today because I purchased a bugdroid case from Amazon which by the way looks awesome. Anyway I hope this helps.

I replaced the original screen protector with a tempered glass one because it was too fingerprint-y. The nice thing is this was the first time that I've been able to apply a screen protector with absolutely no bubbles or dust stuck underneath. Having the original protector on makes it such a clean slate for applying a new one.

It comes with a screen protector on it. Just remove it and get a tempered glass protector it's better

Best tempered glass protector?

Hi,
I'm looking for a good tempered glass screen protector for my x820. I have already tried one I got from Aliexpress, but, although I placed it perfectly aligned with the screen and bezel, it kept getting off on the corners, every time I put a cover on the phone.
I'm currently using this bumper cover from Aliexpress and love it, but would also like to get a screen protector that's able to stay in place, even after using the cover: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/EDWO...32779417691.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.U8dd3i

Interesting, I've bought 2 or 3 different ones for my wife (she drops her phone/cracks the tempered cover glass all the time), on ali-express, and never saw this. I just looked at her phone. I think her TPU case overlaps the corners just a tiny little bit, probably enough to hold that glass in place. No idea where she got the clear TPU case though. Somehow I think it's the one that shipped with her order from GearBest.com

Few days ago I ordered Mofi tempered glass. I'll post my impressions as soon as I got it.

And it's ok... I am using a TPU case with it. The original LeEco case is also good with it. Try to clean the phone better at the edges before applying.

I think this is the same one as all the vendors have. You can get 2 pieces for that price, but considering it's coming from Germany, it'll be at your door step within few days as opposed to several weeks/months if the item comes from CN.
It's good if you need the tempered glass very fast. Thanks for the find.

because i couldnt resist the price, i recently bought me the 6gb 128gb le max2 , when i added the screen protector and compared both phones i realized that there was not even a scratch on the old protector (within a year and surviving the outdoor season)
i also have a nexus 5 with tempered glass screen protector and i also put one on a iphone 5se
both have had marks or corners broken in no time.
The ones from the link are still like new.

I just received my lg g7 today and apied the screen protector you posted. it feels fine, but the sides and the bottom have an air gap . I am assuming it may be slightly rounded at the sides which is why it's not sticking down completely. It works for now since I can't really see it too badly. But I do wish to find one that sticks on the phone completely flat

bummer I was hoping it would lay flat. My protector arrives tomorrow and my phone arrives on the 7th

All 3 arrived with smudges and scratches on them already so I will be returning them. I tried one of them anyway and it seems your application has to be really precise because of the curved edges.

I'm only rolling with one kind of protector... I have them on both my phones I use daily now... I don't mind paying the extra cash bc I know the quality will be top notch... No pun intended..

GPEL is the best out of the 5 other brands I've tried for the LG G7
Every other brand that I’ve tried had either adhesive only around the borders that caused touch sensitivity issues and some other clear screen protectors were too small and it did not cover the whole display area.
GPEL’s LG G7 tempered glass is the first glass I've used that actually seats perfectly with full adhesive on the entire screen, had no bubbles, no sensitivity issues and it was super easy to install.

I'm sure that screen protector has Halo.. it just has a black border to hide it
Someone on Amazon reviewed the ringke invisible defender and said it has no Halo so I ordered that one to try. I will be returning the Mr Shield protector

How hard is it to install the Dome Glass onto this phone and does the protector cover the entire chin or just the display portion of the phone?

I’ve not installed it yet as I’m waiting on phone ...I expect it to cover the chin with minimal space left to the edges ..it looks complicated when you watch online videos but I’ve installed 3 of them so far with no issues ... take your time it will go on smoothly ...

Unfortunately one piece was broken in the kit I received from Amazon it looks to be either how they stored or during delivery... I have to do a return and reorder...

Granted that's for iPhone but the tests they did should be the same. I've got it installed and it was super easy, no bubbles, no problems.

Oh that sucks, are they doing an exchange? Was hoping to see that bad boy on the G7. Just curious, do you know if Amazon tends to sell all the Spigen cases?
I checked and it looks like Spigen site has the Slim Armor but no Tough Armor, while the Spigen store on Amazon has the Tough Armor but no Slim Armor

I’m doing a return and ordered a new one ... might get it by Saturday so hoping to post up soon ..
Spigen usually order on Amazon bc it’s better prices in most cases I’ve seen ...hopefully they restock soon...

Is the cause of the halo due to curved screens? I thought the G7 didn't have a curved screen like the V30

Mi Note 10 tempered glass for Mi note 10 lite

Hello, I'm wondering whether mi note 10 screen protectors will fit mi note 10 lite also because both have identical screens as I have read. In my region it's hard to find a screen protector for mi note 10 lite. But we have for mi note 10. So any opinion will be really helpful. Thanks

I have the same question. One that covers the screen complete and complete with glue and not only at the edges.

I have searched and searched on aliexpress. I just can't make up my mind. Sometimes there are no reviews and sometimes reviews are not good. Sometimes there's this hole thing in place of fingerprint scanner.

May be hydrogel ones do cover the screen well. I ordered one from AliExpress. Should see how it goes when it arrives

I've bought a screen protector on Ali express and received it yesterday, It has no hole for the fingerprint, it's glued to the phone by a liquid that solidify with UV rays, it covers the all screen, and It has no disgusting black edges !
As long i tested it, i can day that it's note bad, no bubbles, and the fingerprint reader is working as well as before.
I found it on a thread on XDA for the Mi note 10 lite ...
I also discovered that Huawei P30 Pro's screen protector could do the job (the two devices has the same screen according to some versus).

I am already using a custom cut hydrogel and it's been good for scratch prevention and gaming.

Thanks for the information. I will agree it's quite expensive compared to the other options in the aliexpress. Some reviews are good. Some state there's still small gap at the edge and it starts peeling off after some days. Please update us with your experience after some usage ?. Thanks

this is the best tempered glass i ever tried.. not on this phone only.. on every phone... its like there is no tempered glass on phone just the screen.. ultra clear.. not easy to get dirty with fingerprints.. it just need 5 min with uv and its ready

Hi, what about removing that glass, is it dangerous for the screen when removing glass, does it leave glue residu ?

After a few weeks , I can say I'm not disappointed, however there's still bad news...
The screen protector does not fit with the case boxed with the phone, some bubbles started appearing at the edge (it's not really visible but it's there)...
This screen protector still cover the entire screen and fit really well on the device !
I think with a new case there will not be anymore problems with it ¡

I have removed other brands with same uv light very easy.. not even glue on screen left..

I work in retail, and with curved screens, only uv glue glass protectors are usefull here

I will use the Phone with a case so the glass must hold when in case and not peel off on the edges...oh and i dont like it when i always see the fingerprint sensor area. Have seen some Photos from such glasses and they have all holes or an always visible ...thingie in the area. What about the 2 from here?
I am so afraid the screen brokes when my Phone falls with only a soft tpu protector

You could try those hydrogel protectors. But they would only protect the screen from scratches.

Good quality screen protector and case?

I usually got Spigen cases for my phones and Whitestone Dome glass, but since this is a flat screen, there will be no Whitestone this time.
I mean, I don't miss it too much because it's really, really expensive. But I do need a good alternative now with this phone.
What screen protector did you guys buy, and which of them worked great? I want to have FULL coverage with good adhesion.
Casewise, well, just post whatever works great.
Ps.: Glass wise I found Nillkin has a few on their website, but I have my doubts.

Thank you, placing my order. I hate how the stock case wont even protect the camera 'hump' lmao. Got some time though, have a week until unlock is done.

I ordered a Nillkin Amazing H+PRO. Have that one on my Mi Mix 2S so went with it again.
I don't plan to buy any case since I actually like the one that comes with the phone.
Seems to me that the Xiaomi cover is slightly higher than the camera so when you have it on the table the camera is not touching the table so perhaps it does protect the camera a little bit but I am not sure.

I regret buying a screen protector, should have just let the pre applied factory film be on the phone. When I installed the screen protector there was a white dot inside a air bubble which was annoying so I removed the protector and removed that white dot but then when I put the protector back on there was more bubbles and a black dot appeared in the middle of the screen so I ended up buying a new tempered glass protector but from a different brand. So disappointed because when I applied it to my Mi Mix 2S it was perfect, no bubbles or anything.
