same thing happened to my wifes s9 snapdragon after update to latest android 10 also see it with the s10/s10+ must be software related

Happened on my new Unlocked Samsung Note 20 Ultra. I can't get it to boot. Or even get Safe Mode up and running.

I've been getting the same thing on my Note10+ phone Both on cache and factory data reset.
Q: How many of you have recently replaced your LCD through someone other than Samsung ? I'm guessing all?
They're saying on this forum here , when translated from Russian that the message is indicating a non OEM aftermarket display.

Which checks out for me.. the shifty guy at the mall kiosk replaced my old in June after I broke it. Bastard assured me the part was OEM tho... no matter I'll go visit him with a small Jerry can when I have a minute

Sleep of Death and cant wipe cache partition

Hello all,
I have some problem with my phone: Samsung Galaxy i9082 / Galaxy Grand Duos.
I have problem with sleep of death / freeze screen when i use 2 simcard. (when only one is ON problem is dont exist).
When i am looking for solution in GOOGLE (because my phone was in service and this not resolve problem... a lot of people in Poland have this problem with this phone - every opinion about this phone now contains "problem with system stability" or somethink like that - thats so sad... because opinions was published after that when i bought this phone ) - i found i should wipe my cache partition...
... so i just shut down my phone, power on it in recovery mode, then i choose "wipe cache partition" and... some error
And one more - when i power on it into recovery mode i just see first "brak poleceń" or something like that (that mean "no command" i think)
Could somebody help me ?
What should i do to resolve my problems ?
Is it "popular" problem ?

If you are rooted then wipe catche/data & dalvic catche in adwance option & reflash the rom packege,
or try to flash any custom rom made by balli or k2wl & check any improvment..

[Q] What is that watermark I got

My note 8 bricked yesterday without any known cause and it was stuck on the galaxy note 8 start screen when I started it and clearing the cache and resetting it didn't work either so I downloaded an official firmware from sammobile and tried to flash it via odin.
the problem is I downloaded 3 different firmwares(4.4.2 and 4.2.2)from the website and every time I got like a watermark message and I can tab through it but it is really annoying and it is on the home screen all the time , I don't know what is it and I tried clearing cache and user data from recovery too but it didn't help

Thanks a lot mate it worked , but still have a problem , the sim card isn't working it says that network can't register , did I miss anything?

Fixed Beta 2 security screen problem.

Hi, A lot of people are having issue regarding security of device as you cant change your pin and it wont let you enter your pin by showing wrong pin. You cant even have any security after doing a factory reset.
I have done everything to fix it , even took it to samsung repair center, still no success so I have sent it to samsung warranty today.
I have done these things to fix it but nothing worked.
1. Tried online samsung and google "find my phone" service" to fix it as it is shown on some sites for older phones.
2. Reset the phone through recovery.
3. Install fresh firmware through Odin. Then installed both beta versions.
4. Installed orignial firmware mine was VAU.
5. Installed the first firmware of s10 plus. With Nand reset and partition using PIT file.
6. Took it to samsung, they tried 2 different firmwares to fix it but all in vain.
In the end Samsung told me that it might be issue after security patch done for screen protector. They cant do anything at the moment and I have to wait for a fix through update but I have sent my phone to warranty.
I posted this issue in Q&A last day after having issue. But now I can see There are a lot of people affected by this. In my opinion it is Beta 2 issue.
Once you encounter this issue, you are helpless until samsung fixes it. Until then just keep your data, no need to do factory reset or new firmware, as it wont do any help.

I also got this first time. It is very frustrating and I spend 7 hours to fix it but nothing worked. Until now i have seen 5-6 people who are facing this issue after beta 2. More might come.
I'm also facing this problem, hope Samsung fix this ASAP.
Those who have this problem, did you sideload manually the updates or have you enrolled and been part of the official Beta program?

I sideloaded it.
To be on the safe side, I have enabled remote unlock and also just tried it to see that everything works. This deletes all your biometrics but at least you can use your phone till a fix is issued.
Thanks for letting us know. Worst case scenario, you can roll back to Pie via Odin, correct?
Fyi: After remotely unlocking the phone, I was able to successfully setup again pin, face and fingerprint biometrics. I cannot understand why this problem affects some people and others are not affected. Why is this triggered by certain phones...?

I did rolled it back but didnt work for me. my issue is persistent and even samsung service centre could not fix it. I gave my phone in warranty because I am not sure how much samsung will take to fix this issue and they might be able to fix it. Lets see what samsung will say.

I have the same issue. My phone restarts twice a week automatically and after my scheduled restart my pin is no longer working.
I've formatted my phone and now stuck on Beta software as Smart Switch won't downgrade anymore.
I installed via official Beta Enrolment (Samsung Members App) - in the UK.
Was and currently still running the Beta 2 software.

You can use odin to go back to normal build but there is high probability that it wont fix the issue.
Does this have anything to do with the recent update in the biometrics (fingerprint issue).?
I cannot understand why this bug was not seen right after the update to Beta2, but only after 3-4 days...

The good thing is that this bug affects also the ones who officially enrolled to the Beta program, so this means that Samsung must be working to release a fix. At least I hope...

I'm on latest android 9 stable via ODIN but the problem with biometrics and pin lock keep in the phone, I did every wipes with no results

hello guys I have the other Redmi Note 8 Pro phone like you. Today I just installed the AIDA64 and DevCheck app out of curiosity. After opening the first app, I found out that I don't have a xiaomi phone but a samsung s10 + !!! I tell myself that there will be an error in the app, so I run the second one and it also diagnosed my phone as SAMSUNG S10 + ... I go to settings / information about the phone / model and hardware .. and here again I find out that my phone model is SM-G975F! !! does anyone know how this is possible? or what to do? I'm using BLISS ROM (version 12.11) I tried reflash the system but it didn't help ..
Its probably something wrong with AIDA64, no need to worry about such a bug

hi it's not that i am afraid ? together i tried 5 apps for HW and SW information and they all detected my tel as SAMSUNG S10 + instead of RN8P. I noticed that even with internet payments, the site detects tel samsung instead of xiaomi ... I have no idea how it could have happened or how to return it. ??

It could be due to some wrong entries on the build.prop file.
Don't worry, just re-flash the stock ROM with fastboot method and come back to a Custom ROM whichever you wish...

buddy i thought so too but build.prop. is fine ? it occurs to me that it could be related to the SafetyNet check in the Magisk administrator, which I did not go through a few days ago. on the BLISS ROM support pages I found a file (codm + cts.zip) which flashes via magisk. the module name HARDWARE OFF is listed in the module manager. this is the only thing that occurs to me that it could cause it, but maybe I'm also writing completely out of the bowl here
PS: after flashing the file, I go through SafetyNet without a problem ..

No issues for me so far.
Seems faster to me than Android 10 and I'm liking it in terms of UI changes
I didn't need to reset.

Dear all.
Just bought a used Nokia 8.1.
When I started it up, I did reset it to factory then attached it to the wifi (no sim yet) it updated to 11 (was still on 9). TBH I pushed yet without even realizing straight away.
There is no fingerprint option anywhere
At first I freaked out that the phone is a dud but I've seen multiple forums everywhere mentioning this problem but no solution works (multiple restart including safe mode, with or without screen lock setup, complete factory reset etc). Should I give up and try to return the phone? (HArd - I'll probably have to go through paypal process) ?
Is it worth trying to install a custom rom? Could I downgrade to 10 or even 9?
Is there a command line query or even a dial code I could use to know whether it is a hardware issue or a firmware issue? If the former, I should definitively return it. IF the latter - then it would be unethical to actually return it
