Cc9e is charging too slow - Xiaomi Mi CC9e Questions & Answers

I have one mi cc9e I buyed a few months ago, and one day I connect it on my computer, after that the phone is charging too slowly, like 6 hours, then I take the phone to a guy who made repairs, he opened the phone and said the it's not wrong with the USB board, but the problem continuous.
I use an app called ampere to see how many mAh is charging the phone, and in there the charger is recognized as a USB charger
(And yes I've already changed the cable and the charger, and still the same"

Faulty Nokia DC-16 PowerHub

Okay, I recently bought a Nokia DC-16 PowerHub and according to instructions in the guide provided by Nokia, the charger should take around 5 hours to charge completely. Well, I put it to charge last night and its still charging (around 11hours) :/
I just used a normal micro-usb samsung charger instead of using the default usb cable provided to charge it. (I dont think it should affect the charging time anyway). Am I doing something wrong or the powerbank is actually faulty? In case, I can fix/calibrate it myself, what should I do?

Original cable charger causing "Slow Charging" message

Hi guys,
it's been a year I have the LG G3 but since one-two months, it shows the USB like charging message "Slow charging..." when I plug it to the wall and in fact it is slow charging because I tried a new charger that shows me 35 minutes remaining at some point but mine showed 1 hour 35 minutes.
I did some tests and the problem seems from the cable, like I tried using the cable with a Nexus 5 and it showed "Charging over USB" instead of "Charging on AC" with my new bought cable. However, it was the original one that came with my G3 and it used to work perfectly.
So is there any way to fix this cable? Is it normal that a cable becomes unusable after a year? (knowing I usually take care of it well..)
I tried searching google and checking another thread here but I didn't find any useful info on how to fix a previously working cable.
Thanks.
Just get a different cable. The lg charger itself should be a 1.8 amp. I'm personally using a 2amp with the original cord, It would tell me slow charging but with the another cord it tells me fast charging as well. Cables do go bad.

Zenfone wont charge

yesterday i put my phone to charge while slepping and i had some technical problems with electricity in my home so the power kept coming and going so my charger got fried and my zenfone wont charge anymore with any adapter i tried using 4 others charge, tried connecting to pc, tried turning it on but still my zenfone wont turn on. when i press power button it makes 2 vibration it shows like its charging and the led than turns off. I know something in the phone got fried and i send it to service but they said they dont have parts, so im going to buy them online but i dont know what it got fried (usb port, battery or motherboard).
Sorry for my bad english and thnks in advance
Same here. I think i have the same, but my adapter haven't fried and is healthy 3 port wall charger. I have even changed the battery, cause of this problem. Asus shop send me a new one because of this, free of charge!
But even then it doesn't work. There are moments when i can turn it on and charge, but its random. I thought it was Android related, but haven't found out anything..
I can turn and charge it sometimes, don't know yet when..
But the Battery release i think helps (Unplugging Battery connector from battery, no need to take it out).
Have tried many of tips, guides, nothing.. Nothing helps..
I'm starting to think that mobo has been damaged somehow.
I got it one time to charge fully, don't understand how. Once i plugged in and saw that it charged at last, i didn't turn it on and left it there till full. Once charged it, kind of charged when i plugged in (at about 60% battery), and in Ampere there was normal Current (about 1000mA), but it didn't really charge, just drained..
Please guys, would appreciate this!
And a lot of people in youtube too. There has been no answer for this problem.
I'm assuming your already tried with different cables? If you are lucky and just the micro USB port section got fried, a replacement costs 5 bucks on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Charging-Po...169886?hash=item1a030a819e:g:aowAAOSwDNdVqKyi
When something in my ZF2 fried all of the USB data functionality was gone, but it would still charge at slow rate. I RMA'd it and after ~2 months they sent me a new phone; did not mention what exactly was wrong with the old one.
Then a while later I dropped it on the floor while it was charging - it landed straight on the micro USB cable side and the impact dislodged the USB port ripping some of the lanes off the PCB so I could not solder it back, and of course then it would not charge at all. I bought one of those charging dock replacements I mentioned and with that replaced it started working again.
It might be a damage data flex cable. That data cable with simcad slots and micro sd need to be replaced to be able to charges again and working fast charging.
my zenfone phone is not charging what do i do

Possible Quick Charge issue

My HTC 10 is about 1 year old, and I've never saw it show the "charging rapidly" message. It always charges normally, but I think that, somehow, the quickcharge thing is not engaging.
To clear my doubts, I've purchased a USB tester (model J7-t), and found out that the phone is charging at 5.08V 1.45A, with factory original charger and cable. With another charger (a regular 2.4A charger) and another cable, it charges at 5,22V 1.45A.
With phone turned off, it charges at 5,10V 0.96A.
I've tried some tips from other threads, like turning the cable over (I assume turning over the USB-C part of the cable), cleaning the USB-C port, restarting the phone, to no avail.
It has no problems connecting to the computer for data transfer, it also charges from the computer USB port.
It's running stock Oreo with stock kernel, rooted, bootloader unlocked and S-ON. As it is, takes over 90 minutes to go from below 20% to 100%.
Is this normal? Anyone knows why it's refusing to quick charge?
__________
EDIT: I suspect that the culprit is the cable itself, a HTC brand cable that came with the phone. It may not be compatible with Quick Charge technology.
I researched a bit about cables, and ordered a couple of these - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Bli...r-Cable-1m-1-8m-Mobile-Phone/32833209044.html
BlitzWolf USB-A 3.0 to USB-C model BW-TC9. The description page says that it has a 56kΩ resistor, allows data transfers up to 5Gb/s, supports Quick Charge technologies up to 3A, and is sturdy enough to tow cars without breaking. Not that I would ever tow a car with an USB cable ...
Will update this post when the cables arrive and I test them.
__________
EDIT2: Cables have arrived, they're some fine piece of hardware. But the phone still refuses to charge at anything over ~5V and 1.45A. I've also ran another set of tests with a QC3.0 compliant car charger, to no avail - still charges at ~5V and 1.45A. I'm starting to believe that it's some problem with either the phone itself or the ROM/firmware.
I am using xiaomi quick charger and it shows 2870mah charging current at early stages of charging. Charging current was slowly decreased when battery percentage increased. is after 90% it shows below 1000mah and below. I am using ampere app from play store.

Quick Charge 3.0 and USB C not working

So charging is extremely slow now: max 280mA showing in Ampere app. Tried different cables and chargers(QC3.0 certified), charging speed remains the same.
I can't connect to PC anymore. Windows doesn't even make a sound when I connect the phone to PC. Showing no device.
Headphones connected to USB port are playing only one audio channel.
I've been using LOS 15.1 since last summer without problems, haven't done any updates since. The problem with USB port emerged a month ago and I am almost convinced it's a HW issue. AIDA64 indicates no temperatures over 36°C in thermal section so sensors are working fine I guess.
Anyone tried these charging ports from Aliexpress? Comments indicate that they are not the same as the original.
It really sounds as hardware problem. I asume you already tried with the phone off, and after factory reset and the problem persists.
In my experience, the original lower board have fuses which are expensive and are replaced by resistors on chinese replacements. If you dont want to lose this, try going into a repair shop and have the USB-C port replaced or desoldered/resoldered from the board. Must be done by experienced guy or it will be melted.
I'd buy the replacement board anyway. As long as you don't use crappy chargers, you shouldnt need the fuse too much, and also, the phone have another fuse in the motherboard.
If you have not tried with the phone off, try it. I got the xiaomi wireless charger and it works like crap with the phone on. it disconnects/maintains chage/stops charging A LOT, but if I charge the phone turned off it charges without issues at full power (8-10W according to my USB meter). Maybe is just the firmware being an ass
Thank you for insights. I confirm that hard reset nor charging solved the missing QC3.0 functionality. It's clearly a HW issue.
The whole situation was caused by losing my original charger on a trip and then using certified QC3.0 charger (not from Xiaomi) and unfortunately - cheap Chinese micro USB C cable. I can't stress this more... Never use cheap cables (or chargers) they can literally fry up your port. In this case it was definitely the cable eventhough it worked fine for 5 months.
It seems (from comments) that beside fuses the charging ports from Aliexpress are missing the possibility to transfer data over USB as well. Which is not that crucial because FTP over WiFi is bearable. The real problem that I need to fix is quick charging because with 280mA on Ampere app it takes 5 hours to charge this phone.
The charging port I've bought on Ali is on its way so I will update this thread in a few weeks after inserting it into the phone.
Losing data over usb is quite a problem if you are into custom roms/mods on native miui (which resets the recovery on each update).
Hope that ali's board does have this funcionality. About charging, you can get locally a wireless charger for now, though for me it only charges fast when the phone is idle, using it always just keeps the charge (probably to avoid overheating).
So how the story ends? We're you able to solve the problem?
I had the same issue with my Mix 2. bought a replacement port from Aliexpress and Witrigs.com. As posted on most forums these replacement ports don't support fast charging (in most cases) and no USB data transfer (this is the case with mine).
I had dropped a message on the witrigs.com website to confirm if their supposedly 'OEM' replacement supports data over USB (it looks much more like the original board in the phone that the 'custom' replica one that is half the price).
but I'm not very hopeful of that being the case, given someone has already left a comment on the product page indicating they bought the OEM version and faced the same issue with no quick charging or USB data transfer
Got some problem when i lost my usb travel charger on a trip.
and now my phone was too slow and cant transfer data even if i buy the new authentic from xiaomi store.
i hard reset for 3 times and but no luck.
omg -___-
I know it's old, but I'll let you in on my problem.
I have the Mi Mix 2 and it was happily fast charging until recently. Still the original plug and cable
I have tried all sorts of theories to get it fixed and one person said to charge it while turned off
So I plugged in my usb cable and turned off my phone. Only for it to automatically fire up and go into fastboot. No charging. Just fastboot on the screen
Obviously I can get out of fastboot mode again, but is mine an option change in the settings that needs addressing?
Thanks
