Notification Bar pulls down too low on Screen - Razer Phone Questions & Answers

Hello,
This problem seemed to occur out of nowhere. I didn't install any new programs or updates.
Whenever I try to access near the top of the screen the notification pulls down. This is happening at too low of a point. So I can no longer access the top most row of apps, the address bar, or anything in that top ~centimeter without activating the notification pull down.
In chrome I can't access the address bar without this happening but I can see the notification bar pull down. I must rotate horizontally to access.
In apps I can't access the top screen nor can I see the notification bar. I have to reopen an app after an ad because I can't click on the x to exit.
Edit: I have tried shutting down and restarting
Thank you for any help

Carrier on taskbar and lockscreen washout

Anyone notice that sometimes it doesn't show AT&T on left corner of taskbar? It always shows on lock screen but sometimes on home screen its not there. Also sometimes when the phone reconnects to wifi and pops the notification of that it makes the carrier name go away. It comes back with a tap of the taskbar so not a problem. I was just curious if anyone else was seeing this.
nevermind with the lockscreen

Talkback icon keeps turning on Tab 3.0 - 7 inch variant

Anyone else have this problem with the icon in the status bar of the talkback icon showing up in settings saying that it is on?
I check the settings and it is definitely off but the icon remains.
I've restarted the device and reset the icon by turning it on and back off, but eventually the icon finds itself back on randomly.
It's pissing me off.

Same problem here . Usually happens after a restart. Only way I get rid of it is by enabling it and disabling it again (though operating in Talkback mode is a bit of a work and takes a bit of understanding of how to operate...like using using two fingers to swipe the screen and double tap instead of a single tap to select an option. Hence I would not recommend my way of getting rid of the icon, unless you know what you are doing ).
Samsung should really come up with a fix of this annoying bug.
Happen to me as well until I uninstall all apps that use this method to push notifications.
I.e. go launcher notification plugin

[Q] Youtube app sometimes not hiding navigation bar

Anyone else having this issue with 4.3 update? It goes to low profile mode, so i see the dots on nav bar and dimmed status bar, but it doesn't hide. When that happens, I have to quit youtube and swipe it off on recent apps list to make low profile mode work properly again. Is this youtube app issue or something else?

Oreo Status Bar Notifications

I have the Note 8 on Verizon. Last week I received a software update to Oreo. Shows on phone as N950USQU3CRC2.
Excuse my terminology if I call something the wrong thing. I will attempt to be as detailed as possible.
I have several apps that put information into the status bar. This is what I call the bar at the top of the phone with the time and battery indicator, etc. I do not have a screen stand by, or lock or anything else. I push the button on the right to cut the screen on and off. All power saving features that I am aware of have been disabled.
Since the software update, some of information that used to stay permanently (persistent notification?) in the status bar would seem to be missing. When I pull down on the status bar to see all the notifications, I see the missing information, but now it seems to be minimized (compacted?). It has down arrows that I have to press to expand the information, then I actually have to open the app to get the information to go back to the status bar. After a short time the notifications disappear from the status bar again and I have to slide it down, expand with the arrow, open the app, etc. over and over.
It is very frustrating to have to do this all day long. Am I missing something? Is there a way to turn this minimization (compacting?) off so that all status bar info shows in the status bar all the time?
Hi I had this problem with one of my apps on Oreo. Go to Settings...Display....Status Bar. Make sure where it says show only 3 recent notifications is turned off. That should should hopefully help
Lrivera76, thanks for your reply. I checked where you referenced and it is turned off already. Interestingly enough, since about noon today, the three notifications I have been fighting with for the past few days have been staying on the status bar. The others that I do not care so much about are still staying minimized or compacted and I have to slide the notifications down to see them, but I do not really care if I see them or not. I began to wonder if the OS had some way of learning that I wanted these 3 left at the top because I kept reopening them over and over? I don't know. I wish there was an obvious way to just turn the minimizing thing off. We can already turn off a notification if we do not want it. What would be the purpose of leaving it on, but not see it. I don't get it.

I use the Navbar app and now with Oreo it stays on my pull-down menu as well. That didn't happen on Nouget. If you haven't tried, clear your cache partition and restart your phone. I was at the point where I was going to do a factory reset due to my battery not lasting the way it did but basically checking all my settings, notifications, displays, etc turning off things that where on when they weren't before saved me from having to do it. Give it a couple of days for the OS to settle if not you can do a factory reset to see if it gets rid of any issues.

overscan notification delay.

I've been using adb overscan to hide my navigation bar completely and use edge gesture for gestures. After updating my pixel 2 xl to android pie, I realized that when I click on my message notification from my notification center to open the actual app and deal with it(read, reply), the notification does not go away.
It goes away when I pull down the notification bar, but before I pull it down the icon stays remain in the status bar.
This is getting very annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
