[Q] Youtube app sometimes not hiding navigation bar - Sony Xperia M

Anyone else having this issue with 4.3 update? It goes to low profile mode, so i see the dots on nav bar and dimmed status bar, but it doesn't hide. When that happens, I have to quit youtube and swipe it off on recent apps list to make low profile mode work properly again. Is this youtube app issue or something else?

screensaver with nav bar?!

so, i dont think this happened with stock sept security update, but with the novemember update i noticed that the screensaver "colors" shows the nav bar at the bottom of the screen once it activates.. noticed this also happens on the "photos" screensaver..
does anyone else notice this or is it just me?

then, after a few seconds.. the task switch icon diappears, but the rest of the nav bar still shows..

to add insult to injury, the navbar wasnt even being shown before the screensaver kicks in, and its kind of pointless for a screensaver to popup, and show a static navbar overtop of it, defeats the whole purpose of the screensaver.
Same thing happens to me: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2-xl/help/alternate-wake-display-t3698989

I'm still on September update (original) and same behavior persists. Google is just now learning about screen burn so I imagine it's going to take some time before they get to all places they need to fix this.

Thanks for checking Sept update.. I could have sworn the nav bar went away, oh well.. I'm sure it will be fixed sooner or later, and there are always aftermarket screensavers

Pull down status bar while phone on table

I have a strange problem swiping down to see the notifications while the phone is in portrait mode and it sits on a table (not in hand) - if the phone is on landscape it works fine.
If the phone is in hand everything works ok so I don't think this is a hardware problem but when the phone sits on a table and I open up an application (e.g. Facebook, Waze, etc.), I cannot swipe from status bar to see the notifications (if I am on the launcher it works because you can swipe down from anywhere to see notifications)
I am on OxygenOS rooted with Magisk and I am having Xposed installed.
Does anyone else have this problem?
EDIT: Seems like the problem is related to Display Size setting.

overscan notification delay.

I've been using adb overscan to hide my navigation bar completely and use edge gesture for gestures. After updating my pixel 2 xl to android pie, I realized that when I click on my message notification from my notification center to open the actual app and deal with it(read, reply), the notification does not go away.
It goes away when I pull down the notification bar, but before I pull it down the icon stays remain in the status bar.
This is getting very annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Notification Bar pulls down too low on Screen

Hello,
This problem seemed to occur out of nowhere. I didn't install any new programs or updates.
Whenever I try to access near the top of the screen the notification pulls down. This is happening at too low of a point. So I can no longer access the top most row of apps, the address bar, or anything in that top ~centimeter without activating the notification pull down.
In chrome I can't access the address bar without this happening but I can see the notification bar pull down. I must rotate horizontally to access.
In apps I can't access the top screen nor can I see the notification bar. I have to reopen an app after an ad because I can't click on the x to exit.
Edit: I have tried shutting down and restarting
Thank you for any help
