Hello. Help me to solve a problem with stuttering sound in audio players when the screen is off.
In standard player the problem less noticeable. But shuttering audio in other players and apps quite interferes.
I have already tried to disable miui optimisation in dev options, to remove all application activity restrictions in the miui settings, to change some players, but nothing helped.

yesterday sound was awesome screen on or off. i did the update this morning just for hah's. now my music crackles occasionally after screen goes off. anyway to uninstall update so i can verify?
i think i may have fixed my problem. google music was fine. in poweramp i unticked "high priority" in settings and the crackling seems to have disappeared. weird.
I had tried changing every setting and couldn't get it back to normal until I wiped the app data which solved the problem.
if anybody having problems with the crackling i mentioned above with poweramp go into settings in advanced and audio engine and tweak your audio buffer to huge or large. auto i guess doesn't allow a big enough buffer and creates the problems with sound. google music plays fine.
my regular sound notifications crackle when the screen is off...not even playing music.
I haven't seen this issue at all.
There are a few threads about this with more info. Definitely 48KHz sample rate mp3 don't work well when in low power mode (screen off), only 44.1KHz. Seems some people have found various ways of stopping it. One is turning on the eq in music, another the buffer size in power amp.
Google needs to root out the problem. I was hoping 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 would have a fix for everyone. I personally have not seen it happen outside of someone sending me a 48KHz sample rate mp3.

I have an issue where offline Google Music flac files will suffer from this distortion when the screen is off. It happens to most of my flac files, and to none of my mp3 files.

I experienced this problem even when playing Youtube vids... I am just testing it now.
Video and sound would crack and pop for brief periods seemingly at random when playing songs in various players - I thought at first that I had a bad wire in the headphones, but it happened without headphones as well.
I never had this problem before and I installed 4.1.1 update a few days ago.
I just uninstalled a media app (don't remember the name now haha - but it's similar to imedia share) and did a cold reboot (removed battery) and I have now been testing for 15 minutes, and so far no problems with MP3 players or Youtube.
Honestly - I think it may have been an app running in the background - so try uninstalling media apps and do a cold reboot.
I still LOVE this phone!
I have a stuttering audio playback whenever I lock the screen. It seems like the audio is not buffered properly. I have tried multiple audio players and I also tried turning off the motion gestures in case they were interfering. I am unable to stop the audio stutter problem. Has anyone seen the same problem? Can someone suggest a solution to this?
Streaming music apps like spotify/ google music have in app equalizers that really make a difference, hence I use them. But every so often the equalizer turns off by itself reverting back to a loud/flat sound. But as soon as you go to check the equalizer, it says it is still on and the sound reverts to your settings in the equalizer.
Has anyone else encountered this?
Hi!
I have tried two headphones (Sennheiser M2 IEBT and Focal Listen Wireless) and two audio players (Youtube Music and BlackPlayer) and got the same result: after toggling a pause on headset any attempt to resume a playback after a couple of minutes results in nothing. That is Bluetooth control is lost. I'm forced to take a phone, unlock, start player and start playing back.
It is interesting, with Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4 I don't have the problem regardless headphones and players: Bluetooth control is kept at any case.
The most performant mode is selected in battery settings. The last official firmware (169) is installed.
Please, help me to resolve this very annoying issue!
I've noticed that when I play media content using a third-party app and then pause it from a Bluetooth device, sometimes that app gets terminated in the background and when I try to resume, it starts playing from the stock EMUI music app instead.
Although I haven't tried this, disabling battery optimisations for your music apps might prevent them from being terminated in the background.
Yes, all battery optimisations for players are disabled. Also, a lock was activated for players on recent apps screen.
I have tried a couple of settings on the developer configuration list (amount of background processes and amount of Bluetooth devices), but was not lucky.
Ok, can you, please, share your experience in having or not-having described problem?
Hi guys.
I'm having one problem with my Poco F3.
When I'm on Spotify/music listening some songs, when I open some apps, the music "bumps"...the sound kinda stops for like one second.
Do you guys have the same problem??
Check if these apps or games that cause the issue are using game booster. If this is the case, just disable "sound enhanced" in game booster settings.
Settings - sound and touch - sound assiant
Turn off multiple audio sources, if that doesn't work, try turning off adjust media sound in multiple apps
