No offense and with all due respect, just wondering:
What is the difference between this and the same paid services offered by OliNex or tupsidin? Those paid services are allowed to post in these forums, the OliNex service is even Stickied...

Hi los. Difference between both services is very simple
Am sure sandeep here is worked hard on this proggy or procedure, I've not used it so its a benefit of doubt. But as he mentions, its not free but a paid service. Whereas if you see Olinex's thread, there they have mentioned that the unlocker will be provided to people who wishes to donate and can be contacted via the web site. This is followed to avoid certain incidences where a free unlocker was posted but it was found to be a stolen version of the Olinex unlocker
If anyone wants to post his service (esp. paid) they may freely contact the Admin or any MOD through PM and further talks can be initiated which will surely be in the interest of the users and the forum. What I mean to say is simply that the procedure or authencity shall be verified so as to avoid awkward situations for both, the users and the forum

Ok, so it is OK to advertise for paid services as long as you get approval of admins/mods first, to make sure that the service actually belongs to the advertiser. Fair enough. When I read your first post I thought the problem was the finacial interest of the poster, that paid services did not belong on this free forum.
Thank you for your answer.

Because
A: Without the effort of OliPro no one would be flashing away like crazy.
B: Without Tuspidin, We'd have less New Roms that haven't even been released yet. (Plus Tuspdin asks for XDA donations to instead of just own gain)
C: XDA King contributes parts of the gains to XDA and listed a list of options instead of just his own (true he could have linked the other two)
D: History. As in There's alot of history of missuse of others Software.
E: We don't have the time to explain this in depth everytime a discusion starts about SIM unlockers.
D: It is not us that aprove if it is right, It is us that protect Contributing members hard work, and we use precuation doing so.
Leave it alone, there's enough other threads with this discussion running out of hand.

My cracked app posted here since August !

Is this a good forum to express my disappointment and a bit of my anger ?
My paid app was cracked and posted here at the end of August. I've been responding on the thread and helping people.
I didn't realize until now that the app posted, AND HOSTED here on XDA, was cracked !
Stupid me, huh ? But why would I download my own app ? So I never checked until now.
I reported the posts; is there anyway to ask for priority in my thread/post/attachment violation reporting ?
And am I better off just going with a donation model, since almost anyone who wants my app for free can find it anyway ? And my paid app is just an unlocker anyway, giving extra features people could live without by using my free base app.
Between stuff like this, and the absolute lack of help Google gives to developers helping them to make their 30%, I'm really starting to hate on Android now...
Hey,
I've removed the offending thread. Rest assured that we have a ZERO tolerance policy with regards to warez on XDA, however it's inevitable that things may go unnoticed.
I can only apologise for the amount of time that this was left on the forums. It's very uncommon that a report concerning copyright/warez will be left for more than 24hrs, obviously though this depends on the violation being noticed and reported.
It was not entirely obvious from the OP of that thread that it was a paid version being offered and not simply the free version. I appreciate that this doesn't excuse the fact but it is the reason why this is only now being dealt with.
Once again, apologies for this should you (although hopefully you wont) experience this again then feel free to PM a senior moderator as well as reporting the post in question. This may lead to the situation being dealt with more promptly.
Thank you !
No need to apologise. It's absolutely not the fault of anyone here at XDA, other I think than the OP of that thread, and perhaps anyone who realised it was cracked and said nothing.
I even downloaded it myself a few days back and noted it was re-packaged but didn't realise it was a cracked version, for which any unlock code could be entered. My light bulb lit up when I downloaded this cracked version from a Chinese language website.

Yup, it's an important lesson for anyone doing paid apps - if nobody spots it, then we won't hear about it... Always best to do a regular google search for your app, to see if you've found it on places...

ADMIN please help.........

I have been searching for two weeks straight on how to root my Verizon (running on straighttalk) Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It is the SM-910V running 5.0.1. It has the kernel 3.10.40. I have tried multiple different ways of using odin, kingoroot, ect. I'm not sure if I am just doing something wrong or what? I consider myself fairly decent with software and figuring things out. However, working 4 12-hour shifts at the local hospital and taking summer classes in college has me a little frazzled. Can someone please direct me to a guide that will enable me to root my phone permanently. I would prefer not to have a temporary root but if that is my only option I am certainly open to it. I am not incompetent nor am I lazy, I am just tired of searching countless threads and watching countless video's to no avail. PLEASE HELP ME. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated and hopefully someday I can return the favor.
Side Note: I am currently a Licensed Practical Nurse with many years of experience and working on getting my ASN-RN then I will bridge that to an ASN in CIS. Anything I can do to assist someone else please ask. Thank you for allowing me to join your group guys and gals!!!
Hi! Xda admin aren't the ones to ask for help with technical issues on devices, fellow members are.
There's a dedicated section here for the Verizon Note 4, https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon
The general section has lots of information, including root guides by the looks of it. After reading through those, if you still need help, you can ask in the guide threads, or in the question and answer section.
Good luck! And I'll close this thread. :good:

S9 frp issue, don't know model number & need to bypass soon to be ex wife's phone! He
My soon to be ex wife's (Att) S9 is locked up at the frp screen requesting her Google account information to proceed after I did a reset. Obviously she won't give it to me, Trying to use the Odin method but I'm not sure what combination file to use because I can't access the model number etc. Any direction greatly appreciated.
It's not your phone man. Have some dignity, show some respect, give it back to her.
Straight up, you'll feel better for it in the long run.
Lmfao
Not her house or savings account either but she didn't show the dignity you speak of captain save a hoe... You want her number, sounds like you would be a great match ?
you're the one who didn't sign a prenup.
we don't usually provide frp bypass exploits (if we had one) because it's used by thieves 99% of the time.
sorry

XDA does not help members hack other peoples phones, read the rules
Thread moved to Q&A and closed.
FRP is done for something and we at XDA do not allow discussions to bypass such security systems, even if it's for good reasons in the end, we don't take that risk.
Please read the rules again HERE.
In particular, this one here below:
9. Don't get us into trouble.
Don't post copyrighted materials or do other things which will obviously lead to legal trouble. If you wouldn't do it on your own homepage, you probably shouldn't do it here either. This does not mean that we agree with everything that the software piracy lobby try to impose on us. It simply means that you cannot break any laws here, since we'll end up dealing with the legal hassle caused by you. Please use common sense: respect the forum, its users and those that write great code.

Question [CLOSED] Samsung z fold 3 mdm/kg locked

I need somebody to help or guide me in the right direction to bypass and unlock my Z Fold 3. I bought it from someone who did'nt finish paying for it. I've seen it done but people don't tell you how. I'm trying to gain the knowledge so I can do It myself. If anyone can Help I would much appriciate it. I live in the U.S.
No one on here is going to help do that.
@4N5W3R-33 you are in possession of a stolen device, and the only guidance we can offer you is to return it to its rightful owner. We do not permit discussions on potentially illegal activity, per Rule 9:
