I am a former LG G4 user and the video recording capabilities on the G4 (even completely stock)I found was excellent. Even while stock on the G4, I could use the free app freedcam and get 4k recording bitrates of 150Mbit to 200Mbit @30fps........on stock unrooted MM.
I am not sure high bitrate 4K is doable on the Sprint LG G5 though. I have tried to google to see anyone doing high bitrate (150MBit or higher) on the LG G5 but have found nothing. The G5 has the same camera sensor and a faster processor.
So does anyone here know of what I can accomplish with a G5 sprint in terms of highest 4k bitrate recording? If so, with what apps? Has anyone used apps like freedcam, cinema4k, etc with high bitrate on the LG G5 Spring variant?
Thanks in advance.
Just found out that LG promoted their V40 with "OIS+" + EIS for the camera. Which "OIS+" was first introduced on G3. On the other hand, our V30 have "OIS2.0" which LG been using since the G4. Possible downgrade on the V40 as the correction angle of "OIS2.0" is 0.7 compared to 0.5 on the "OIS+". Or maybe they did this to improve their kind of useless "Steady Recording" EIS function?

This seems more like a V40 forum question. I'm not curious because I no intention of ever buying one.

Well, since the resolution is lower, with bigger pixel size, I don't think like it really needs that OIS2.0 with 2degree movement. And yes, g4 is shakier than v20, probably because of 16:9 sensor?
I have seen a few overclock mods for other xiaomi phones for 74hz & 84hz & vice versa .
They were originally 60 hz phones like the zuk z2 plus [60hz?>74] [60hz?>84]/
I was wondering if it could be possible to create such a mod for zuk z2 plus as well.
Basically overclocking the screen ..// too much would cause harm though ; - )
I'm not really sure about the technical side but if successful we would be able to break the 60 fps barrier
Ya there is a way to overclock the refresh rate check my thread for more info
Hi, I'm torn between F3 8/256 and Mi 11.
What about the panel ? It's the same except QHD for one (Mi 11, 480 Hz touch sampling) and FHD for the other one (F3, 360 Hz touch sampling)
I need to save money so for me F3 seems to be the better choice, but I've one chance to get Mi 11 less cheaper than new one.
Thanks
Mi 11 is significantly better. However it depends on how much you want to spend extra as the Poco f3 is so good for its cost (better value then mi 11)
I was only talking about display.
Poco F3 starts selling tomorrow in my country. I need to make a choice.
I'm very interested, too.
By the way, F3 screen earned the highest evaluation (A+) at DisplayMate. It's only a full HD display, but less pixels = less energy spent to manage it.
I'm trying to make a choice between F3 and the Mi 11i (a rebranded Redmi K40 Pro+ for the global market)...
I think I should go for F3.
Mi 11i is not interesting for me (same display as F3). I need the best panel. Think Mi 11 has it, but I really don't wanna pay more than 500 euros.
Actually I own an Galaxy Note 10+ and I never use the wqhd+ resolution, It doesn't make any diference for me.
The phone itself is awesome, premium, but the exynos hardware is the reason i'm switching to Poco F3.
I bought 6GB RAM. 8GB was unfortunately not avalaible. Can it be enough ?
No DC dimming and no adaptive refresh rate.
It's still an outstanding panel nonetheless, just hope future updates fix the panel dimming under heavy load and high temperatures.
The Mi 11 had the same problem with reviewers upon it's release in January, seems like it's been fixed with the latest firmware update.

According to some reviews the 120 Hz rate is adaptable according to the displayed content and the DC Dimming function can be inserted with a future update or with a customized rom.
Is there any information what PWM frequency the F3 uses?
How much will be price?
Greetings, I have heard it is possible to run the screen at 90hz the big q is, how?
