Gap between glass and metal casing - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Anybody else has a visible gap between the glass and metal casing at the top edges of the phone? It is big enough to collect dust and is present on the front and the back of the phone. Galaxy S20.

Do you have a photo? The only gap I have is the middle top part of the phone for earpiece. The rest is same with the rest of the phone, down the sides and to the bottom of the phone.
Mine is a s20+ though

I hope it is visible enough

Looks like you haven't cleaned your phone since the day you bought it with all that dust on it. Get a microfiber cloth and Zeiss eye glass cleaner which is safe for all eye glass coatings so it also safe for your phone. Then put it in a good case. I use the 3 piece OtterBox Defender Pro which also comes with a holster. No case is just begging for disaster to happen the first time you lose your grip and drop that thing on the floor. If it's in a case there won't be any dust getting in the cracks because it won't be exposed.

Didn't buy a pretty phone to put it in a fat ass case.

Hope you got Premium are or some other insurance. Good Luck!

Got the same gap on my S20 Ultra LTE Black version which I purchased yesterday :-
My S10+ also had same gap on exactly same location, Link of the topic : https://forum.xda-developers.com/s10-plus/help/gap-left-corner-s10-t3935197

So samsung also have bad quality control now.

This is the reply I received from Samsung :-

Of course he gonna say that's fine XD I worked for samsung customer care and we had briefings where they told us always to push the narrative that's it's fine so we get the least amount of RMA's.

I cannot fit a fingernail between mine, definitely not part of the design

There is a thick gasket inside there which will raise the glass.

So is it still safe from water and dust or ? I have noticed dust going in that gap but they are just stuck there. Been trying with the service center since few days for getting a DOA but there is a very low chance to get it. Even my S10+ which I bought last year had exactly same gap at exactly same location.. maybe something wrong with the manufacturing. Idk how they could manufacture two different phones purchased/manufactured in a gap of 1 year.

That's a generic answer that makes absolutely no sense. If that were the case than all the phones would have a gap.
If you can I would return it and exchange for a new phone.

I have no possiblity to return it to store and get a replacement. None of the offline authorized resellers for any smartphone brand in my country have a replacement policy. I went to the service center but they just sent the snapshots of the gap to their HQ for a RMA and told me that they will call me back within 48 hours with the response of their seniors, however I received no response from the service center yet, its been more than 72 hours. I had already sent an email to Samsung India CEO's Desk and they are following up my case with the service center but I think that it's all just their drama.. they are very reluctant to not issue a RMA for such an expensive phone. I wish I hadnt switched from Apple to Samsung knowingly that there will be 90% chance that all my Samsung phones purchased after 2018 had gaps.

Mine doesnt seem to have that gap or at least it is not as visible, i have black color - if your screen uniformity is acceptable i wouldnt risk replacing phone as you may get one with poor uniformity and that is then a problem

I looked at mine, also grey, it is not like yours.. the gaps is al the same, corners the side, bottom and top.
So I don't think yours is part of the design.
Maybe it wasn't enough to fail at there inspection but I wouldn't be happy with that.

Yeah it seems like that, + the black colour makes the gap look more wider. I have submitted my device to service center yesterday along with the box, bill and accessories. They said that they will be processing the DOA and issue me the certificate today to get a replacement from store. If possible I will try to get a Gray variant this time.

Cracked screen

Anybody else has a cracked screen on their GS4? mine developed a hairline crack across the middle within a week of me having it. and it wasn't from a drop or anything like that. i just happened to be looking at the screen and thought there was a hair on it. tried to flick it away and realized it was a crack. Tmobile wants me to pay for the repair or replacement because they think it was accidental damage. my point is, how can this phone possibly be this fragile? just putting it in your pocket might be enough to break the screen. this can't be right.

This phone got a lower rating on durability than the iPhone 5. That being said, had the phone for 8 days, just had finished rooting and installing the wicked ROM (very nice ROM kudos). Going in pocket for keys drop the phone, here are the details:
Phone:
Tmo Samsung Galaxy S4 (White)
Case:
Samsung Galaxy S IV D3O® Leather Flip Cover - Black
Hard shell back with soft touch feel, leather cover that flips closed to protect your screen
Made with military grade D3O® intelligent technology
D3O® molecules lock together to absorb shock
Fall Height/Floor type:
3-4 ft. / Concrete
Angle of impact:
Initial impact was on the bottom left corner.
Secondary impact was top Left corner
End position was face down.
Case was still on the phone
Phone Results:
Very fine shattering on the bottom 1/4 of the phone with one bottom to top crack from initial impact.
Secondary impact created another light cluster of cracks from left to right in the middle of screen.
Case Results:
Two of the sides broke off on impact instantly causing the phone to absorb most of the force.:crying:
Knowledge gained:
Phone is fragile as hell... Military Grade cases (as stated by the case details) are crap...Buy an Otterbox.
And yes, do be careful when putting it in your pocket... regardless of tightness or fully loaded wallet.
+1 to Otter Box. (Look on OB's website or Amazoon BTW, don't waste your time looking on Tmo.)

+1. Have had it about a week. Never dropped it. Have a Spigen Neo Hybrid case on it. I noticed a crack starting on the top right side right above the camera and it extends all the way to the left finishing off where the volume up button is. I don't get it. I take very good care of my devices.

same here. I have a case and screen protector on it, and i take very good care of my devices. I can't believe just fragile this phone is.
started a similar threads few days after received it May 4th and 5th. I was in the bathroom giving my son a bath and I was on my knees near a bath mat that was about 3 inches thick shag carpet not only did the phone drop barely a foot and a half it landed on the corner on a soft surface and the peace of the bezel peeled off, the silver part on topholding the screen glass not the side bezel.
I mean come on... 18 inches off ground on to 3inch thick softtt threaded shag bath mat..
. No real crack. BUT just like everyone else tmobile said I had to pay 175.00 deductible because I damaged it..
if we show them this thread of multiple users with Similar problems, do you think they might get thats its not us?
I dropped my phone face-down this afternoon about 18 inches with a $3 case (made by BoxWave) and it doesn't have a scratch on it.
I think it's a temperamental thing where it depends on the angle, velocity, etc of the phone.
Regarding the hairline crack, couldn't T-Mo see that there were no other impacts around the actual phone? This definitely sounds like a defect more than something you caused...

I did take it back to the store to show them the phone, and its obvious that the phone was never dropped. There is no damage anywhere on the phone and the crack is a clean break. I might have to send it back to Samsung or something.

[Q] Xperia ZL cover is peeling off

Hi
After 3 weeks I got this annoying problem. The external plastic layer that makes the cover mat is peeling off my phone on both sides (front and rear).
I brought it back to the store (Phone House Germany).
For me it's just a production problem, the glue that is detaching.
But the shop pretend it's my fault, and doesn't want to repair it for free, neither change the phone.
The are asking 335,72 EUR to repair it.
When the problem occurred I also had several reboots and sometimes the phone was very.
Both phenomena occurs even when not using the phone. I had reboots at night when sleeping. Or the phone became very hot in my pocket.
My suspicion is that the glue is detaching due to the phone becoming to hot.
My question is, are there other people who also have the problem with the cover that begins to peel off ?
In attachment you can see a photo of the cover.
i didnt find any issue because my XZL is white,
why its your fault man ? i think that is product defect.
can you give more picture, front side.

That's what I'm asking the Phone House, prove me that it's my fault (the have to due to article 5 point 3 from the Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 May 1999 on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees).
Article 5
3. Unless proved otherwise, any lack of conformity which becomes apparent within six months of delivery of the goods shall be presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the nature of the lack of conformity.
But I can not send any more pictures. My phone is already since 18-5-2013 at the phone house (repair center w-support.com GmbH).
I've seen this before and I think phone house has too, that might be why they don't want to repair it. This happens if you get some cleaning agents on the phone. Some window/glass cleaner does this. You either got some on your phone directly, touched your phone with some on your hands or put the phone on a surface that has just been cleaned with some.
A friend had this problem and also send the phone back. Either way, the seller has not to pay for repair.

Don't give up. It's definitely not your fault. Do you have authorized SONY service centers in Germany? Here in India, we have them, although the staff over there are incompetent and pathetic. We go directly to the service centers to get the faults corrected. If they are really hell bent on proving that it's your fault then head to the consumer forums and lodge a case against them. This is unacceptable. Btw, does it look that way only when you view from one particular angle?

wow its the first time i see that on a phone, if u said that it happens when it gets hot, it can be a battery problem as your phone is restarting. dude that really sucks, now that i saw that i wont change my white ZL to the black ZL..... dont give up SONY must replace your phone.
Neither Sony nor phonehouse has to pay when someone gets chemicals on their phone. And those picture sure looks like he did. Maybe he even cleaned his phone with some cleaning agents since it's not only one spot but several. Getting worse when hot could be a reaction of the chemicals in the cleaning agents.
I am sure most phones don't react well to chemicals.
If Sony has to start paying when people don't treat their phone the right way they'll have to stop selling phones at all pretty soon or they'll end up broke.

No I didn't touch any cleaning products at all. Not at home or to clean the phone.
The problem started during my vacation. I was at a hotel where I do not have to clean or work.

No not at all, its really a very tine film that's glued on the plastic cover at the back and front of the phone.
In front I mean the very fine edge around the screen. It's not really visible but I can feel it, that's it became rough.

It's from every angle visible. The black cover is in fact very glossy. It seems covered with a very thin plastic film to rend the cover matte.
It's that film that came lose. Every where that it has been removed the phone is now glossy black. The glossy black plastic looks very cheap

well if its my phone and sony dont want to replace/fix that i would take off all that plastic or buy a black housing. and just replace the back part.
After 4 months I got my phone back...but still not repaired. The way I was treated by The Phone House has made it for me a matter of principe.
They keep saying the damage was my fault.
Following article 5 point 3 of 'Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 May 1999 on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees ', they need to prove it. During this 4 monts they never did. They send me away with a lettre coming from Sony Xperia Support Germany where they state that they damage was caused by a cleaning product or other chemical.
If they think in German that Belgian are stupid, then they are wrong. I studied industrial informatics and I did had courses in physics and chemistry also. So I know that you need special and expensive equipment en products to conclude such thing. They didn't even look at they extreem heating problem of the phone. That may be an software issue, but the phone should be shut off before it becomes burning hot.
But I got one luck, my professional client is the Belgian Federal Police. I already contacted yesterday some of my relations at the police and monday he will look if the cover can be investigate by a forensic team of the federal judicial police. In that case I will be able to prove Sony and the Phone House that no chemicals where found on the cover. And that they were lying. And in that case I will let them sue for fraud.
That is one weird problem. I have had my phone for over 5 months without any cases or screen protectors and it is scratch free and not peeling.
...did you spill caustic acid all over it?
Joking aside might be a manufacturing defect as from the 3 people I know that have had this phone for a couple months without these issues.

Cracked Sapphire Camera glass

Anybody know where I can get this repaired or where I can buy the part?
I'm actually quite dissapointed with the strength of the lens it cracked in my pocket like seriously shame on you HTC.
Mine did the same thing. They replaced it under the uh oh protection but I'm pissed I had to use it 2 days into owning the device.
I refuse to use my uh oh protection on it, like it doesn't effect how my pictures come out just not appealing

Any luck?
My M9 camera just cracked down around the middle as well :/ 2 days, no mishandling at all. Did anyone have any luck getting it fixed/replaced without using Uh-oh protection?
Sadly I haven't read anyone who's had any luck, people are just keeping it as is or getting it replaced with uh oh
Mine was replaced in store in the UK with no issues
This is disturbing. I work in construction and bang my phone on stuff while in my pocket. Thought the sapphire was an upgrade lol
Sapphire is extremely hard and resistant to scratching... But that also means it's brittle. While it's going to be extremely hard to scratch, it's going to be easier to crack.
Which is also another reason(aside from being expensive) they probably chose not to use it on the screen. (Apple as well)
so i got annoyed and just took the rest of the glass off i faced two issues, one due to the crack under certain lights i would get a glare, kinda like when you wet glass and see the rainbow colors, secondly dust got under the lens and i couldn't clean it out the pictures would look fuzzy, and lastly the cracked really F*&#!ed with the beauty of the phone....sigh so here it is, hopefully replacement parts start to pop up soon so i can put a new glass :fingers-crossed: (wheres the brickwall headbash smiley?)
I posted this in another thread but got no response. Has anyone without a case got cracked camera glass? Most seemed to have been in cases in the other thread. Maybe an issue with heat dissipation?
I don't get why they have to have such a large piece of glass with such a small lens?
We don't have Uh Oh in the UK and I don't insure so I'm really worried about this happening to mine.

This advert seems to be for an adhesive (for the lens cover ) not the lens cover .
This company often is a useful source of smartphone spares.
They don't appear to stock many items for M9 currently, maybe range will broaden in time.

If you read the comment from the seller it says " The Lens have the film on it, Please Remove"
so it is indeed the lens and adhesive. it's typical of items from China that the translation is not very accurate.
I have ordered a few lens/adhesive kits for the M8 and they all have worked just fine, I'm sure this one is no different
Cracked glass here, too
Thanks for the eBay link. My husband and I both purchased HTC ONE M9 phones two Fridays ago. His camera lens cover glass/crystal/whatever was cracked straight across horizontally BY ITSELF after we had owned our phones for FOUR DAYS.
HTC and T-Mobile kept passing us back and forth because it was less than 14 days. HTC wanted T-Mobile to fix it, T-Mobile wanted us to use our HTC Uh Oh protection.
In the end, we are being forced to use the Uh-Oh. I'll try that eBay item first, though!
Just notice today that mine is broken also. Don't really want to use my oh uh protection just for that
Did not find a link on the whole WWW
Hello people,
My M9 lens cover cracked also, and I do not think it is because of a hit, as I tend to take care of my stuff. But it did so now I have to replace it.
Bought tools and glass from ebay, all together about £10. You can find it even cheaper. I will replace it on my own as HTC are very stupid with their policy, £30 just for diagnostic (like I do not see the glass being cracked) + repair + parts. It is overly priced.
Does anybody have a link with how to replace this glass from the M9?
If not, do you have to take the back cover off to do this?
Thank you.
Regards.
I got cracked lens cover, I have removed it awaiting New cover from eBay however without lens cover on camera does not focus on distance objects only close up. Could this be ddie to no lens cover or is the camera broken
I replaced my lens from ebay. To remove it I used a hair straitener as a hotplate to loosen the adhesive around 180 deg F
I wore rubber gloves/ and pried the sapphire off of the camera with an exacto knife and or razor blade.
Double checked to make sure I had all of potential glass shards.
I proceeded to take off the back of the new lens and lined it up and from there I now have a perfectly non-cracked lens.
Problems I ran into this. I have had a piece of dust or sand on my camera lens since I cracked it(maybe beach sand?) and always have this unfocused 1mm 'gray' spot. If I had an air compressor I would have made sure to blast my lens with it hoping to remove that spot.
I live my life with a grey spot on ALL of my photos .
But aesthetically it is barely noticeable and my lens is not cracked. I plan to use my Ut Oh protection when I get close to my date.

[Survey] How many of you have experienced the screen peeling problem?

Hi everyone,
I am seriously considering buying the Moto Z2 Force as a replacement of my old Moto X 2014 (I still love it but my screen got a bit shattered one year ago:crying.
The only thing that is holding me back is that screen peeling problem I heard of. So, after reading some threads I would like to see how spread the problem is by proposing you this survey.
In case you had the issue, it would be very useful for me to know how you solved (got a replacement, removed the shutterproof screen protector, ...?)
Thanks a lot!
Here I am, replying to my own survey!
Unfortunately, not as I would like to...
I bought it and on day 2 I noticed this issue https://youtu.be/KfEjQWtvckQ which is how everything starts I suppose...?? So, I think this will be a "In the first month case".
Now I have to think of what to do:
Keep it and wait for it... (what then?!)
Send it back to seller asking for a refund => Buy another model, other brand (It would be really sad though)
Send it back to seller asking for a change with another one (what if the new one will have the same issue?)
Removing somehow the screen protector and the glue (any tutorials? Will it void the warranty?)
Any suggestion is much appreciated
Thanks a lot
I knot sure what that video was suppose to show. But to me it showed nothing of importance.. I have had my z2 Force for about 2 months with no issues.. Use a screen protector or a case with one, and you should have zero issues.

The video is supposed to show a problem with the shattershield screen where the outer screen protector lense is detached from the inner layer.
Some people on Lenovo forums reported screen peeling issue after experiencing something like the video shows.
On the same forum, some other people claim they had a screen protector on when the peeling started.
Anyway, I contacted Motorola Support and they:
Confirmed that if you remove the outer layer, the warranty is permanently voided for the whole phone... Not good
Suggested me to refer to the seller for a substitution since I am in the first two weeks after buying the phone
Still deciding what to do...
I tried the tempered glass screen protector I ordered.
It doesn't adhere correctly on the top of the screen but especially on the bottom, near the fingerprint scanner.
So, the screen is not perfectly flat.

I purchased a Otter Box Defender, and that might be why I have no issues.. On my G5 Plus I had a Otter Box commuter and a screen protector and they worked well as well.. If your nervous about that pone, best bet might be to replace with a different model.. I sure as hell would. Good luck.

Here I am, replying to my own survey!
Unfortunately, not as I would like to...
I bought it and on day 2 I noticed this issue
which is how everything starts I suppose...?? So, I think this will be a "In the first month case".
Now I have to think of what to do:
Keep it and wait for it... (what then?!)
Send it back to seller asking for a refund => Buy another model, other brand (It would be really sad though)
Send it back to seller asking for a change with another one (what if the new one will have the same issue?)
Removing somehow the screen protector and the glue (any tutorials? Will it void the warranty?)
Any suggestion is much appreciated
Thanks a lot

Have the same issue and can hear that. But it seems to be normal. I can push in the screen a little bit. I think it's not the original foil of the top, which is pelling. I think it's hearable because it's plastic and elastic. I can see (by screen on) that's not the foil while I'm pressing the screen in. It's more the complete screen. Would it be the foil, I wouldn't see what I see by pushing in the screen. Plastic is easly elastic. That's all.
Here is an update.
Yesterday I received the other plastic screen protector I ordered.
It fits perfectly, since it's not as rigid as glass.
Since many of you have the same "clicking" noise while pressing the screen, I think I will try to use it in the next days to see how it goes. I have some weeks to think about keeping it or sending it back to the seller.
Hope everything will be ok, I'll keep you updated

It's not the foil, right? That's the plastic which is"clicking". I'm short-sighted and I'm pretty sure that I can see that's just elastic at the bottom. Looks so that the foil is ok and 100% save on the screen. But it's nice to have a elastic screen  No scratches after month. So, don't need a screen protector. The quality seems good. It's like wings of a airplane. Elastic, too And there is all ok, too. Normally

I am not sure it's the foil or not... However, I don't think is the screen which is moving, that's probably more a refraction effect. We should ask to those that removed the protection layer, if they where experiencing this and after the removal it stopped.
Foil or not, if the "clicking" sound is so common even in devices without peeling issues, I will give it a try.
I just need to use it, only time will say if it was a good idea to keep it :fingers-crossed:

Screen is moving down at the bottom, for me it's 100% so. And if I do it carefully, I can see it without hearing it. But yes, would be nice if anyone can test it without the foil. But, I can trust what I see, all real. So, it's the plastic. Hope anyone else can confirm this.
Another problem, what I have seen. I have burn in at the bottom. The navigation buttons keeps/burn in. Now I have set up the moto fingerprint navigation and it should gone next time. And that's really good. Works very well. And the space of the screen is now bigger, nice effect.
But, good to know with the burn in. This smartphones are made for a short time, maybe 2 years. On my computer monitor I have never seen burn ins like that. So, it's a market/business. Screen not made for working over years
And what really is very very good is the battery. Have last time good 8.5-9h sot. So, that's better than many people think.
But back to the screen. That's the topic here. Maybe we have to bring it to the repair center after 1.5 years. Maybe because burn ins, peeling and so on. We will see
If you guys do the warranty replacement through Motorola and not your carrier they will send you a new moto z2 force with a 2nd gen screen if you ask em about it. They have a fix for it lol I just got mine back and it's totally different

Ok, maybe I have a newer one. Here no scratches after months. Foil ok. Just the clicker at pushing. You don't hear that on your device? Which versions are 2. generation, after which produce date?

What am I supposed to be hearing on my device lol? And idk I just personally call it a 2nd gen screen cause it's easier to explain it like that to the people that I live around in my area ??there not to bright lol. I do know it's not the original shatter screen stuff that was peeling. it honestly was pretty hard for me to understand what my moto agent was saying to me when he explained it so I only caught bits and pieces. My model number is still xt1789-04 TMobile variant. I don't have a clicker also

General Hairline crack, inner screen, feels like screen protector.

Anyone else have hairline cracks on the fold of the inner screen? Mine feel like they are on the screen protector, my screen display is fine. Anyone else experiencing this?
Talking to support now, supposed to take to an authorized repair place. They say it covered by warranty due to normal use causing the cracks. Being sent to an authorized Samsung repair place.
Just inconvenient.
Adhesive failure. Probably due to excessive stretching of the plastic protector during assembly.

Likely, but luckily it's covered by the warranty.

Did you end up getting this fixed under warranty? Mine did the same thing (and the entire screen protector along the fold ripped up all at once).
I did a chat and they told me to take it in to get it fixed, but I'm curious as to what they'll do.

Yes I did. They sent me to a certified repair shop.
They essentially replace the whole interior screen. The process worked, but the guys at the location were not that knowledgeable. We plugged it into a computer and it didn't see the USB access. Once I got it home, it worked on my computer. Who doesn't have the drivers for a device that they repair?
Anyway, it works great now.
That's good to hear it worked out for you. My inner screen also failed in the same manner with hairline fractures and black line down the middle turning it in to a Microsoft Duo. I've been on the phone with Samsung three separate times and have had nothing but resistance from them. They sent me to a local repair shop and the manager told me I must have gotten a piece of sand in the hinge or something....huh? He said go ahead and start a claim, but the final word was with him. He also said he got rid of his Fold 3 because he didn't want the same thing to happen to him. So there's definitely a problem with some of the units out there. I'll be sending mine to Samsung soon. I have no confidence that Samsung will actually cover this under warranty in my case due to the treatment I've received from their customer service. It's upsetting.
What a bummer... I got my phone Sept 24, and now on March 24, I just noticed that I have a small crack right where the phone folds. I am going in to Verizon tomorrow. The "Samsung Care+" wanted me to send it in with $249... This is definitely a warranty issue.
I went to my local corporate Verizon store this morning. They will treat it as warranty and my replacement phone arrives tomorrow. The area manager was there, took pics of the screen, and the phone to document current condition (which I appreciate) before approving the swap. Plus she says they are monitoring how many come in like this. Mine wasn't the first. They suspect, like many here, that it's the screen protector. (I guess the Flip 3 has issues too, but my daughter has one that is so far so good).
Now, as long as Verizon doesn't declare my phone as "damaged" by me it will be a free swap. If not, they'll try to bill me. But the area manager agrees that it looks like a defect (and it really is a defect).
One last gripe: I guess I was too eager to get my Fold 3 to realize that the "protection plan" carries a potential $249 fee for a broken screen. Thank goodness this is a defect.

do you mean that they suspect the screen protector is broken or that the screen protector is causing the UTG screen to break?
The thought was that the screen protector is cracking, but not the screen. I've not lost any functionality over the area that is "cracked".
Yeah, when I ran my finger nail over the cracks it would snag. It was absolutely my screen protector...which is factory installed and therefore falls under the manufacturer.
Yes, I think this will be an issue. I don't think this will totally kill the market or much of the sales. My replacement is still going strong, and I haven't heard too many others experiencing the cracks.
I'm sure the Fold 5 will have it all together. Hahaha
100% screen protector, I just replaced mine myself and small crack in the crease is gone!
Yeah, my nail would catch on it. At least it's not the screen...oy. That would be a nightmare.
Checked online, there is a few threads on the Sammy forums, and removing the inner screen protector does NOT void warranty. If the display/screen is damaged in the process, then iti is void.
My replacement protector, OEM, got it's first hairline crack. Gonna remove the OEM one and replace it myself. That way I can just replace it when it goes bad.
NOW I'll say I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone because of this issue. Samsung failed here, but there's a chance to learn from it and improve it.

getting the same OEM Samsung screen protector was a bad decision and you should've known that already since it broke once. Samsung's screen protector is an ultra thin plastic layer that's why it breaks. I removed it myself and knew its nature. That's why I installed the Whitestone Dome Film instead (myself) and this protector is elastic and bends easily with the fold. You get definately no cracks because it's a film layer.
try it and you won't regret it. By the way it's so easy to install, and costs only $10- $15
A: How should I have known?? They could have replaced it with better materials.
B: Thanks for the insight into the Whitestone Dome.
