NFC tap to pay lollipop

Do any of the current lollipop ROMs have working tap to pay working yet? On resurrection now and it doesn't show up with Google wallet. Not a deal killer, but I've just got so used to using it.

At the moment google wallet only works in USA, also barclays tap pay works and the orange tap and pay works

Opps. Haven't changed my profile. I moved back to the states. So what's up with Google wallet? Something in the ROM or with the app then?

not to sure to be honest, when i was in the states on holiday i was able to use google wallet on ressurection and cyanogenmod but as soon as i came back to the UK the app disabled itself, what model is your phone N7100 or N7105?

N7100. It was working fine on touchwiz dn4. But now I am on resurrection lollipop and it stopped. Not sure why. Maybe its on cm12 side of things.

try using titanium to unfreeze google wallet if its been installed and disabled automatically

Its not frozen. I just can't find the option to activate tap to pay? Is it hidden in settings somewhere?

ah sorry thought you ment as in you couldnt install the app, ill have a look at what can be done

Anyone else get the AT&T update?

My phone just got a notification that it was downloading a software update from AT&T. It then asked me to restart and now it's 50% done updating.
Just wondering what the update does? Anyone know?

178 apps were "optimized" on restart. Can't see or feel anything different.

Apps are always optimized after an update.

The apps that are impacted by the update are. 178's a pretty low number but the update was only 80(ish)MB. Going from 4.X to 5.X my Note 12 optimized 600+ apps on restart. Services are considered apps too. Right after I rebooted Play Services updated itself too. To 8.1.15.

It's an app, here is what you would have seen before the update

Got mine too. Updated and poked around the settings and features to see if Samsung added anything that they removed from the Note 4. Nothing so far.
I also checked to see if the aggressive task killing stopped. I'm getting a consistent 6 apps staying loaded after some tests, previously it was four or five depending on whats open. Anyone else notice this?

I just updated and Googled idk.

There's a thread in the general section. Looks like the update fixed the wireless charging issue many of us were having as well as improving performance a bit.

Hey! I wondered if somebody could help me with the problem of multistar. I cant make the split screens full with multistar even if it should be possible. I post a picture to show what i mean. I live in Europe so i uploaded with nice lock. Thanks very much in advance!

Same here. They SHOULD work when immersive mode is on before. I noticed that it isn't the case now. I'm not sure if it's OneUI4.0 or a new MultiStar update. Hope this gets fixed soon

My mistake, I was not aware there was a similar setting for wifi. I am on xiaomi.eu 12.5.19 (A11) ui isn't much different than stock. Anyway, I don't see that setting either, in my wifi assistant settings :/ my best guess, is that it's Rom related though

I’m on Stock MIUI Global 13.0.8. I’m pretty sure the option was available before, not sure in which version it was removed thou.

Not sure, but this feature is still on most aosp roms. I'm currently using evolution x. I don't think I'll ever go back to miui tbh

Question Missing ecg app?

Hi All
Anyone else missing the ecg app, in the UK and its not on my phone and i cant find it on the play store to install?

I had same problem, you need to go into the Play Store on the watch itself and update it

I think it's part of the Fitbit app. But as Orion stated, it might just need an update (or be installed).
I'm looking for an alternative to Fitbit, though. Google Fit wasn't preinstalled, which I find weird considering this is GOOGLE hardware, but it does a lot of what Fitbit and it's free. It does not have an ECG function, though. Or a blood pressure one, either. Though that should be possible to do, right?

I'm in the same boat. I'm in Japan and ecg isn't supported here. Anyone know a workaround?

Try clearing the cache and data for the app on both the phone and watch.

Tried cleaning the cache on mobile and watch, but it did not work. It looks like I'm in the not supported ECG countries.
There must be some other way how to manipulate the device so you can complete ECG app setup, but I'm not aware as of now.

I downloaded the free VPN app Octahide, selected a US provider, switched to English settings out of Japanese and changed my location in Fitbit to the US. Restarted the watch and it worked! I am surprised it was that easy.
I should add that I already had the app on the watch and it was visible. Vpn worked as a charm. It also continues to work even though I turned off the VPN. Thanks a million

I'm glad that it worked for you too. Now you can make a "How to Guide" post about this solution for other members. My English is not so good.
