Nothig. This is normal when you flash nougat rom.

This is called "Live Display" , you can turn off that function from:
Settings -> Live Display -> Display Mode, change it from automatic to off'.

Some users report that those things doesn't work:

I'm experiencing a really good battery life on aoscp..I think that it's like s.rom
I don't know about the card..I'm sorry..

For those who doesn't want to install a file manager, you can enter your SD card via Settings. Storage and then you touch your SD card name.

AOSCP is based on AOSP and have an experience more similar to the google pixel..instead cm not..Btw I suggest you flash the aoscp..

You should flash the kernel via TWRP like any other zip and then the boot.img listed in the OP.
It should work for ulca and thul but let me know if it will for you..

You need them for both the Roms..
just had the aoscp installed.
with latest twrp (I'm using 3.0.1), the rom then the kernel then the boot.img.
not necessary to install gapps, anyway I had the gapps installed after the first boot.
smooth, only found few bugs with camera ==> turn to black screen after activating HDR and using the selfie cam.
I will update again after I got my nano SIM.

It's working great there..
I'm getting an error when I try to flash the aoscp rom. it says "cant install on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset"

You need to have lollipop Boot loader, and this Rom comes with volte support. Tell me exactly what problem you facing and whats your firmware.

The ROM might be having some minor issues I'm using this ROM as my daily driver. And its Stable and development is on going to make it even mire better.

Yes you can, you just need to flash twrp instead of cynogen recovery. And good to go.

Yes, you will loose cm recovery when you install twrp via adb. But your cm ROM will be there until you flash newer rom. And don't forget to take nandroid back-up before flashing any rom.

Yes, you have to flash modem files for volte. To enable volte feature.

You have to flash firmware file for tomato as it doesn't supports volte natively on any rom. I will provide the link in op for modem file.

It will show hd instead of VoLTE. If nkt may be ims is disabled. But you can call anyways. Haha

Flash recovery first, TWRP would be best.
Then download rom that you want to flash in your case cm.
And then flash the rom.
Don't forget to wipe cache, dalvik cache, data, internal storage. I suggest you to clean install in order to get a bug free experience. Pm me if you find any difficulty in flashing.

Seems that on closed beta somebody is able to do ota update even without a beta tester account so before flashing this try if it works and tell me thanks.
Wipe cache, dalvik, data is necessary for the first flash if you come from miui 8.
After that only cache and dalvik recommended.
I don't own this rom, this is original Miui 9 taken from xiaomi alpha tester account. Language are only chinese/english .
I'll update the post daily as I get the new version.

U can flash the image with twrp if u have already it in the phone. Just select install and then install image...

Sadly, choose update package via updater still detect alpha tester account.
Dirty flash via zcx twrp is the way to update.
MIUI9... Its cool n smooth...

Unfortunately the updater works only of u have an alpha tester account mate
seems exactly the same as miui8...

Russian version of the device (ZB602KL) supports NFC, so definitely there's no need to "remove all NFC stuff" right ?

WARNING:I‘m not responsible for any consequences at all.This is an OEM rom ported from Redmi phone so it may cause wrong behaviors including partition overwritting and may brick your phone or break hardwares.I strongly recommend you take a completely full backup of your device and know how to recovery firmwares in case of any problems.
