Guys, I just watched the review of OnePlus 8 in MKBHD. In his video while saying about the OnePlus launcher he showed a new feature that both the Google Feed and OnePlus launcher could be accessed by swiping to the leftmost and rightmost respectively. I just updated the OnePlus launcher (to 4.4.2) from the APK mirror but I couldn't find this feature. Could you guys please check?
There're some new features in this latest version like while in home screen, if we swipe up (for app drawer) and hold it'll open the 'app search'.
probably all the apps in new OnePlus 8 would be different versions. Someone had to pull those apks from there or we need to wait a while for update.
The search gesture is added in 4.4.2 already.
The OnePlus Launcher from the OnePlus 8 is older than what's on APKMirror. Sideloading it will not enable Google Discover on older OnePlus phones - I already tried it.

Hi, so my question here is:
I have installed Googles new Pixel Launcher, and I like it a lot, but I don't get any "Notification circles" on my apps, I had the same problem with the last beta, and if I sideload other google "nexus" stuff, like googles phone app etc. the notification indicators on the apps are missing.
So, how can I get them to show, or is it not possible?
Cheers
I take it you don't have Google Now integration on that launcher?
No, there are Google now integration.
I ask because I plan to root my 10 shortly and flash the pixel launcher and I really enjoy the swipe to the right with Google now.
well, they have removed the swipe to the right, now you dubble tap the G logo and it moves you to the Google Now app
Does the 7T still have Oneplus' own gesture navigation or does this phone only come with the standard Android 10 gestures? (I know the navbar buttons are still there if preferred)
OP's nav. gestures have been replaced with Google's.

I am pretty sure you can choose whether to use Android 10 gestures, or Oneplus's as before (swipe from down L or R for back), I saw this screenshot somewhere.
On screenshot I saw it was option: Gestures (left right) or Gestures (bottom), so I am almost 100% positive, you can choose.

This is right. You get an option to select Gestures (left right) or Gestures (bottom)
No, OnePlus 7T does not have OnePlus' gestures. It only has Google gestures. And I've read on the forums that some other model, I think OnePlus 7/7 Pro, also had them removed in Android 10 update.

I hope they add them back...Oneplus 7 had kept them though in Android 10...
I have the device, it is really annoying that it only has the google one. If only they added it back. Anyone found any workaround?
Using vivid navigation gestures from app store and works well. No more assistant and can use lmt pie launcher again.
I'm late to owning the 7t so I have no experience with the OnePlus gestures.
I'm curious to know what advantages it has over Google's gestures?

The assistant gesture is really annoying...
Can not be disabled?
Hello, I just got my new to me, unrooted refurb 3a XL and have a few questions regarding changes I'd like to make without having to root my device:
- Can I move the clock to the right side?
- When using pixel launcher, can I remove the google search? I disabled Google app & rebooted; but still can't remove it.
- Any way to enable gestures + Nova launcher? It's greyed out when choosing Nova launcher.
Thank you.
The december update (released yesterday) allows you to use gestures with 3rd party launchers. Update your phone.
Thank DriveEuro, that did the trick.
Any way to get the vertical recent apps instead of horizontal? I understand in Android 10 it's baked in the OS and can't be disabled by removing the pixel launcher? Any way around it?
1. So, with the rootless pixel launcher, is there any way to get Google Feed by swiping to the right? I know there's a Rootless Pixel Bridge, but it's not installing correctly.
2. I KNOW i'm stuck in 2008, but I'd like to swap home and recent buttons. Is there a fix for this?
Not sure if One Handed Operation plus will work on non-Samsung phones. If it does it will do just about anything you want it to.
It's on Playstore so it might...
Hi, i found here two threads but both are about rooted device. I'm interested is there any chance to get it without root? Especially no buttons in bottom and screen slides instead of that ?
About the buttons, that is an Android system setting for gestures. Read more here:

I use the Lawnchair launcher. It tries to do all that the Pixel launcher does, and more. You'll want the new version 12 alpha 5, which you can get from their Telegram channel, not the old one on the Play Store.
Or install ArrowOS, which includes Lawnchair.
