I updated to 10. When I scroll up from the bottom to close apps, they fail to fade away into the background. They just disappear. Why cant I see this animation and how do I fix it?

I've been trying to find the answer to this question for ages.
Is there any way for the HTC browser to show the notification bar while browsing. Whenever i open the browser it goes to full screen and you can't see the notification bar until you close the browser again. Its very annoying when i need to quickly access a setting/notification/music changer.

That works thanks
But is there any way for it to permanently display the notification bar at all times?
Hi Folks
Sometimes when some apps update from the play store their shortcuts disappear from the home screens (if I have paced one there), the app itself will still be present and correct in the app drawer, but there are empty spaces on the home screen where their shortcut was before the app was updated.
Their seems to be no rhyme or reason to when or which apps have there shortcuts removed. Some will go several updates with no change then suddenly they're gone, others do it every time they update and some never do it.
Is there a reason for this behavior? Is there a way to prevent it or at least understand when it will happen?
Sometimes I don't realise the shortcut is missing until sometime after several app updates and then I'm flicking through my home-screens and there is a blank where there shouldn't be and I'm wondering what app I had there...
This is with a stock HOX with the most recent android/sense.
Thanks
As far as I know it should not remove the icons from the Home screen if the app is just updating. It's possible some update actually remove the original application and install the new update such cases it may remove the shortcut from the Home screen since there is an uninstall process happening after the installation.
I somehow removed some apps from qslides list of available apps to use. Quick memo is not in the list but quick memo is on the phone. I can use it if launched from app drawer. But launching it from quick settings or hitting the qslide button while in full screen it goes to the floating window and disappears. Also the phone app is in the qslide menu. When i try to use it, it the flosting window pops up but disappears. All was working fine before.
Has anyone run into this problem?
Any suggestions?

I guess quick memo was never in the qslide list even though it is a qslide app. its right there in the quick settings.
fixed the other problem with it some things not staying on float window by unchecking don't keep activities box in the developer options.
When I try to use my qslide messaging app, it opens the box coverin almost my entire screen, and I do not have access to the send button. So i have to blindly get to the real messaging app on my phone, open it so the qslide box goes away...HELLPPP
If you can't see the lower right corner of the window to resize it, tap the QSlide icon at the upper-left corner of the title bar.
Messaging error qslide
The messaging box is from top to bottom, there is no x, no send button, the ONLY way to get out of it is by opening the normal messaging app.
Post a screenshot so we can see what it looks like.
Can't post a pic
Does not let me attach it

My Qslide is gone. Nothing happens when I swipe down. Has been gradually getting worse. Worked for awhile if I turned screen off and back on. Restarted phone twice. Nothing. Yes my screen is clean.
Hey guys,
I'm right now facing some issues on my D-HD phone, which runs CM 12.1 custom ROM from this forum. Also I'm on the 12.1-20151201-unofficial-aceopt (!) build.
Issues:
a) The background of the untouched Lock screen is blacked out, as soon as I swipe to unlock the intended wallpaper is showing for a sec, then the home screen.
b) The status bar, if swiped down, blacks out the whole screen, popup messages aren't stuck to the bar and are hiding behind it.
I can't do a screenshot of it, due to the behavior of the screenshot option, that is killing the expanded status bar.
c) On the screen for recent apps (by button), ALL app preview screens are empty, only the head bars with the app names are appearing.
My phone was bug free, until I started to test an self-programmed app through Android Studio on it (per ADB, app wasn't complex nor corrupted).
I'm using the standard Trebuchet launcher (though I tested others, to see if it causes the problems), and the "Euphoria Dark Theme for CM12" ,which was also installed before the problems appeared.
I also did several reboots.
I did the full forum and google search, but wasn't able to find issues or solutions that are like this.
Do you have an idea, what am I able to do?
Thank you!
Which i have understand with your issues is that,
1)your are not getting transparent status bar, right?
2) after pulling down your notification panel you get black background in that, right ?
3) your lock screen's background is black , right ?
4) and after all these 3 issues you were also facing no animation in you window/scroll etc, right ?
For those all problem just go to settings>about phone and tap about 7 to 8 time on build number then go back you will see developer option there now tap on that find the option some thing like "force high-end graphics" switch on that and reboot your phone your problems will be solved.

I've started getting split screen view to appear way too often, without me intending to call it up.
Then when it appears, I can drag the middle bar to the top or bottom to disable it, but then it reappears after a second again. It's really annoying.
Is anyone else experiencing this "feature?" How to disable it?
Does anyone have ideas? I wonder if it has to do with the Nova launcher?
Basically while on a Skype call, for example, I'd try to swipe up to minimize Skype and select another app, but instead of showing a full-screen app with a small Skype window, it goes to split screen.
If I move the middle bar up or down, it usually closes the second screen but within a second it reopens it again. Or closes the second app, but it opens the next app that's in the background.
I can't find a way to simply disable split screen, as I don't like using it on phones.
Swipe into your recent app drawer, then click on the app icon above the window.

This is definitely a Nova Launcher feature - as it isn't an option using the stock launcher. Just a guess, but I imagine you can disable said feature within the Nova Launcher settings.
Happened to mines once and I'm using stock launcher, I was in an app and opened a link on that app and it turned into split screen, I actually found it rather handy
