I've built a kernel for Samsung S20+ 5G exynos. Everything work fine except for wifi, it doesn't detect any available wifi
When I flash the original boot it works again
Anyone know how I can fix that ?

I'm running into the same problem with the Galaxy Tab A. Did you figure out what in the kernel source was causing WiFi to fail?

I notice that wifi direct is not working on any galaxy nexus kitkat rom,
It is working fine on previous android versions.
I googled the issue but with no clue.
Any suggestions ?

Wi-Fi direct uses p2p which is not working on many kk ROMs for tuna
Try my ROM or another ROM for tuna with working display support. Ths problem is in inir.tuna.rc wifi lines...

Same here. WiFi direct is not working...
Want to use WiFi display in my Gnex but I think it does not support it...

I installed this on los 14.1 but if you flash kernel then magisk, get ramdisk error (wifi,Bluetooth, etc), so flash magisk first then kernel and all working

@SimbyOS Please tell me how to fix the broken wifi issue with this kernel...The kernel working seamlessly on machmotofan coolplay6 firmware for cool1...IR blaster and auto-brightness working fine.. if the wifi works I can use the jui as daily driver..Help! Please!

Hey dude have u found the fix for IR for cool play 6 rom...i think coolplay 6 jui roms are best if we get to work the ir..
Hello ! I have actually 2 problem, the first one is that Quickcharge isn't working anymore ( Tried changing cable and the power adapter, still not working ).
I thought that getting custom rom will change that, nope, it doesn't.
I encounter an other problem, the mobile data isn't working at all on custom Roms, on Miui it works perfectly.
On Pixel experience there was the 4G display, on HavocOS there was 3G display and on Aosip there was nothing displayed...
Any idea ?

Check APNs in your rom, to fix data. Charging problem could be solved if you install a kernel with thermal mod or a equivalent magisk module. Also flashing miui in miflash tools and then trying again with custom rom could help.
Hi all,
As I have almost no mobile network where I live, I use the "wifi call" option of my Galaxy A3 2017 with an SFR rom (France) to make calls thanks to my wifi connection from my box.
I wanted to know if with a rom like lineage 16, crdroid 6, resurection 3.2.1, Hrom j6, I would still be able to make wifi calls thanks to this native option which is in the phone settings menu?
To be more precise, I am not talking about making wifi calls through applications like whatsapp or other.

Not really a custom rom per-se, but I know the H-rom A7 port does support WiFi calling (VoWIFI), as I use this myself. Port from the A7, debloated and updates the A320 to Pie. I have been using this for several months now with no significant issues. None of the LineageOS based ROM have VoWIFI, which seems to be most if the custom ROM for this phone. Haven't found anything else other than stock which supports VoWIFI, but happy to be corrected if there is. On the other hand I do not know at all this kind of rom, except for the passage in android 9, that it is the difference with the rom stock of the a3 2017 because before I used for another smartphone, roms like lineage or crdroid and I could remove all stock applications.

For a long time now on MIUI and now on a custom ROM (ArrowOS 12.1) WiFi is basically unusable on my friends 8T when connected to 5ghz WiFi. Range and speed is ridiculously low compared to 2.4ghz and any dual band WiFi always puts the device on 2.4ghz. Personally I have a Note 7 and do not have this issue.
Is this a known problem with the 8T? Any fix that anyone is aware of? The phone is on the latest firmware. Any custom kernel that could fix this?

This problem is mostly related to the FW
use latest "STABLE" for yor android
if still low, change the rom with a clean flash

make sure you don't have any magisk module installed
test when bluetouth is OFF,
if problem persist flash RRos A10 with stable A10 FW
if problem persist then it may be the wireless adapter or your router

No Magisk.
Tried with Bluetooth off, no difference.
Same issue with any 5ghz WiFi, tried in multiple places. My friend has 2.4ghz and 5ghz broadcast on the same SSID, only connects to 2.4ghz even when in the same room as the router. At my house I have 2.4ghz and 5ghz on seperate SSIDs, the phone won't even see the 5ghz SSID...
Anyone else experienced this issue? Tried literally everything I can think of. Is it a hardware fault?
