Help with downgrading. - Samsung Galaxy A70 Questions & Answers

I have the android 10 update installed.
I tried doing some searches but didnt find much answers on whether i can downgrade it to android 9.
Do i just flash the last android 9 update through odin and it would work?

Well Baseband version isn't the firmware one but I think you could first try to update your system via OTA or Odin.

Boot into download mode and flash it with Odin.
I can confirm this works.

There's an answer to this in the Verizon Note 5 thread. Just use the AT&T firmware instead of for the Verizon firmware.

Which firmware did you try to use because you can only go back so far.. Like you can't go from Nougat all the way back to MM 5.0.1 because of the locked bootloaders! Try downloading and using this firmware.. After it's downloaded extract the file 1 time so you get a .md5 file that odin can use.. The link is below.
Download this firmware and try.

Yes it is passable. You need to find at last firmware with baseband N920AUCS4CPK1. One did you try to flash did not work because it was bootloader version 3 and since you are on android v 7.0 your bootloader is v4. Look for firmware where after S or U you see 4. In example N920AUCS3BPH4 you got 3, this mean bootloader is v3.
Good luck

Honor 6x 2017 android 7 emui 5 - Is it possible to install TWRP?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to have a final answer on : it is possible to install TWRP and use it to root the honor 6x on android 7 and emui 5 (without downgrade) ?
- I've unlocked bootloader ;
- I've installed adb/fastboot ;
- I've installed drivers ;
- I've enabled debugging USB and OEM ;
- I've reboot on fastboot ;
- I've flash recovery with every TWRP since version 3.
But never could access TWRP only eRecovery of emui, when restart with every combination of volume buttons and power, so, ..., I'm doing wrong ?
If there is a kind guy who can make a simple, and definitive (for the moment) answer, that would be awesome
What version of EMUI ? what the version of recovery ?
Be sure to have xxxB360 emui 5 / recovery openkirin version 3.1.x and it will work ...

maybe you could reconnect it after entering the TWRP.
I have not to try. the FAQ just says that when you hold volume+ and power buttons, if connecting to computer, it will enter eRecovery mode, and if unconnecting, will enter recovery mode.

Yeah my bad, I've write the new build number from my downgrade fresh install, sorry, the old I've not keep it.
By saying no in the last part of your message you mean : that I should NOT re-upgrade? Cause my downgrade version work (it's rooted)?
All unlocked, and I can't give you the build number cause I've downgrade and don't keep the old build number.
Actually is BLN-L21C432B151, I can re-upgrade to Nougat (and I prefer Nougat) but it was not working on nougat and it's working on Marshmallow so I've choose to root over the design/functionality/... But if you know why it was not working and can put me on the good path by telling me that I've miss a part or something I will give (probably, if your sure) a try
I mean that I've choose to downgrade to have a root device than can't root and keep nougat.
The problem after successfully flash twrp to recovery, directly reboot with vol up and power was prompt erecovery of emui.
Ok thanks for your answers

Hello,
Yes you can flash full OTA of 11.2.6.6LE15BA without any problem without losing anything through local upgrade.
Or you can do what i did, download a downgrade ota file. In my case i was in 11.2.5.5LE15DA and downloaded downgrade OTA of 11.2.5.5LE15BA and flashed again through local upgrade, but since this was a "downgrade" it wipes all data. I didnt mind the wiping since i couldnt wait for the new update for too long.
How to downgrade the current version?

And when you click on downgraded zip it will notify you all data wil be wiped, click continue isntall and phone will reboot into recovery, wipe all data, boots into android setup. I think this is best options since it cleans flash the old version.

No need to be rooted. You go to the Downgrade zips links and download whichever variant you want of the 11.2.5.5. Then through Settings-System updates- Local upgrade, pick the downgraded zip you downloaded. It will promt you that you are Downgrading and it will wipe data, and after you confirm it and install it, phone reboots into recovery wipes data, reboots to android setup.
