After the Android 10 update my phone freezes allot i did a factory reset twice
I faced a phone restart after android 10 update when I cleared Netflix cache and tried to watch HD stream. I think it was Netflix issues cos after that restart everything is stable and no restart what so ever.
Hey guys, how do you get the new OTA

I'm using it, as I noticed they improved battery life like you can used more than 6.30 hours screen on without root also no drain at night just around 2%
and it's smooth...
bugs added in new update
Nothing change in 100 mb update only added some bugs like freezing sometime automatically touch doesnt respond
I've noticed sudden reboots while using the phone after updating to this firmware . Anyone else facing the same ?
Battery life seems to have improved and incoming call notification feature has been removed in Kitkat
I have done a hard reset leaving without root, and keep the same, it run smooth but when I restart, it get frozen in samsung logo..
PD: I just have ended pulling out the battery for 2-3 times till it boot correctly

Did you make factory rest after update?
If not, you must make factory rest to fix restart issue.

If you face the stuck in logo again you must make factory rest..
It seems to me you update to KK without factory rest after update..
Factory rest it's important after update to KK to fix all the bugs and the lags.
Yes I did that, but it didnt Work. it seems to get fixed by doing a full wipe with custom recovery TWRP 2.8.1, the 2.8.0 didnt install and then install the firmware again.
hello, i use the N750XXUCNH1 and i rooted and installed xposed and i have custom recovery (Philz) , if i update to N750XXUCNK2 does occur any issue? it is right to update? my root was work after update?
thank you
It is really wierd, every time I'm trying to play a video on instagram,facebook,browser,etc...(except of YouTube) the video playing regulary few seconds and then the display stuck for 1-2 seconds while the voice is still playing so as a result a delay is created.
If anyone knows how to fix that I will be thankful.
I had that problem, when restarted it went away but I had to update the firmware to make it go away permanently

Hey guys,
I wanted to clean update my Sprint Note 4 to the latest firmware update that had been released not so long ago from today (almost 1 month back I guess). I connected my phone and opened Smart Switch but it didn't show any update notification is it does usually. I tried installing and uninstalling many times but it doesn't show the update option at all when the phone is connected.
Also, I was having issue of Backup being stuck at 100% and no disk activity was happening at that moment (which is now fixed because I installed SS on the 64-bit Program Files folder).
Does anyone know a fix to this?
Regards.
Zeekay.

Yeah but that would completely wipe off my data, SS updates the phone with all the data in place.

No it won't wipe unless if you stuck in bootloop after flashing and you have to do factory reset.
As the title says, phone has randomly rebooted
... twice in the last few minutes, both times I had picture in picture going while sending a text...has anyone else experienced this? Also, the boot time is amazingly fast at least!

Did you do a wipe when you flashed or just update? If you just did an update, I would try to reinstall and let it wipe the device.
Yup. I'm experiencing this as well. Happened to me twice yesterday. Maybe try a factory reset?

Having the same issue did a complete factory install with the stock image.
Then rooted not sure if that is causing my issues but, is anyone else stock not rooted having random reboots?
I've had 3 reboots since jumping on Oreo. Did my update the clean way through a factory reset and flashing a factory image. Stock, unrooted.

Stock, updated via ota... Having 5 to 6 reboots per hour. Google is sending a replacement phone.
Maybe you have to do a factory reset.
Reason why i havent upgraded. Still on a rock solid nougat until google fix all this problems. Maybe 8.1 or so. Seem like reboot is a common problem with the pixel,. All thread about orea theres someone talking about his reboot problem in many different sites.

That sounds much like a hardware failure... :crying:
I had random reboots too coming from DP4 to FInal. No more random reboots since I flashed the factory images
Is 8.0 the version that is the start of the new OS updating system? I wonder if the partitioning is getting all screwed up? I think I'll stay on 7.1.2 for a bit longer till this gets ironed out.

Just don't download the OTA till they send out a patch. That's what I'm doing.

when i first updated to oreo and rooted it, i ran into the rebooting issues some of you are experiencing. i think the root of my issue was busybox. i did a clean install of oreo again the other day and rooted, but didnt put busybox on the phone. phone ran fine for a day, so i tried giving busybox another go. the reboot issues came back. hope this helps
Mine only reboots randomly if I have YouTube picture in picture enabled once I disabled it I haven't had any reboots maybe try to disable that
Just did the update a couple hours ago and so far so good. Picture in picture works too. Stock, GPE on VZW, no root or anything.

Guys, anyone still getting random on persistent reboots on Oreo with Pixel (XL)? I'm doing my second factory reset atm and monitoring these two threads on buganiser - 1, 2. Basically people started getting reboots after upgrading to Oreo and one notable common thing is: 'Sense Key : Hardware Error [current]' which Google reps assigned to the threads read as hardware issue (probably with Toshiba's memory chips being prone to overflow/overload (?)). They haven't answered my question why is it only happening on Oreo though. I REALLY don't want to go through the warranty process again only to get a device with the same problem as I still believe it can be fixed in 8.1. Is there anyone who had similar issues that got fixed with the 8.1 Beta? Cheers!
I'm experiencing the random reboots too.
Oct. 8.0, Magisk, Root
I almost missed an alarm due to this, so I think I may go back to Nougat. Not only does it reboot, but it gets stuck in the boot screen. If I hold Power and reboot, it comes up though.
I need help with my Poco f3. Ever since I updated my OS to Miui 13, my phone keeps rebooting every time I open any applications. Sometimes I can open them, but the phone still reboots randomly. I tried everything, did factory resets, and wiped out all the data, thinking it would solve the problem, but it did not. I also tried to downgrade to Miui 12.5, but I can't do so because I cannot unlock my phone. It says it needs 168 hours before unlock. My phone is very unusable right now, and I don't know what else to do but wait 168 hours/7 days to unlock my phone and install a new ROM. Is there any other way I can do to resolve this issue?
I have the exact same problem, I tried several solutions on the internet but nothing worked.
Every night my phone starts restarting nonstop. I'm waiting until Monday to finally unlock my bootloader, install an AOSP and never hear from MIUI again.

Take it to service if it's unusable... If you're from a third world country there's a good chance they will downgrade the phone on the spot , if no you'll probably have couple days of downtime without phone
Other than that yeah nothing - except if you can find newer version you should be able to flash it from the miui updater. I'd personally do a factory reset first - then update via method below and after upgrade factory reset again! If that doesn't fix it idk, you'll have to determine whether flashing full ROM once BL is unlocked fixes it or if you should go and have the motherboard replaced...
You have to first enable "developer options" of the miui updater app , download the update firmware that's higher version than what you're on and then you can select the firmware in the app
Update: Fixed this by switching to ArrowOs, it seems that miui really is the problem haha
I believe it doesn't have anything to do with schedule turn on turn off? On miui you could schedule the phone to turn off at anytime and turn on anytime according to the settings...
