Link Ring & Notification volume - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Is there any way to link the ringtone and notification volume so when using the volume rocker they are both set the same?
I can't find any setting on the phone for this so it may require a third party app to solve?

[Q] Disable volume rocker sound

I've been searching for a long time with no luck.
How to disable volume rocker sound or just to make it beeping though speaker not headphones?
I'm using latest CM7.2
Whats volume rocker sound??

I think they mean the sound when you hit the volume up/down buttons and it makes the "boop" noise (when it changes the volume of the Ringer).
I'm always afraid of accidentally hitting the volume rocker late at night and waking everybody up. :/

Yes it is exactly what i mean. And it is very uncomfortable to hear it in headphones (it's very loud)
Hmm, setting sound on vibrate mode and use mediavolume, wich is not making sound..

in media/audio/ui there is nothing about volume.
There is only keypress, low battery, lock/unlock etc.
If you are in cm7 there is "lock volume keys" in cyanogenmod settings, you can press the volume buttons without anything happening. Can't help you with the sound though

oh.... Then i don't know how

Fastest way to put phone on silent...

What is the fastest way to put the phone on silent? Is it via the volume rocker or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!
S.
Yes, hold volume rocker down
I've been using switchpro widget to put a set of toggles in the notification bar because its accessible even from lockscreen.
But holding down volume is just as quick lol

Click the volume rocker and then press the icon to the left and it will toggle between the profiles (silent, vibrate and then back to the default volume level).

If your using the stock launcher then you have a sounds widget, switches between vibrate, silent and sound.

[Q] How to use the volume button to go from volume --> vibrate --> silent no vibrate?

[Q] How to use the volume button to go from volume --> vibrate --> silent no vibrate?
I had this on my Galaxy S2 and S1...I can't remember how I did it though.
I would like the phone to go from Volume --> vibrate --> slient with just the volume keys, as it is now I have to use the quick toggles to choose between vibrate and silent.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Does it.... You sure that it just doesn't lower the volume and go to vibrate...not mute then vibrate?

It certainly doesnt go volume vibrate silent on stock.. I miss this from my note but like above stated just press the volume button on the notification bar or turn vibrate off and it will go silent when u put volume down

Hrm well I am on clean rom but that's just stock debloated and perseus kernel. It's possible that functionality came from either of this but I don't think it did although of course I could be wrong. If I hit volume down it'll go from sound> vibrate> mute.

Stock drops the volume down and then to vibrate... no mute. As you drop the volume down, 1 step before vibrate still makes a tone, so thats not mute.
I came from a HOX, and that did the Volume down>mute>vibrate.
S.
For some reason I'm on stock rom and mine goes from volume->vibrate->silence.

That's what I've been doing...but not answering my question.
I use power toggle for that, it's on play i find it the fastest way to go. Vol - silent - vibrate

Jelly bean headset controls

Since I updated my stock AT&T S3 to jelly bean I have noticed that using the buttons on the headphones that came with the phone also change the volume of the ringer, instead of changing only the media volume like before. This has caused accidental rings during class for me :/ I tried using the app Headset Controls, but no matter what using the volume keys will cause the phone to leave silent mode. Does anyone know a way to change this?

[Q] Volume rocker wake

Hi guys, does anybody know how could we activate a volume rocker wake on P6 stock ROM? No matter how - with third-party application, by editing the system files or by using Xposed module.

The buttons are virtually next to each other (power and volume) and you want to wake your phone with volume button ?
