Wall adaptor stopped charging

The wall charger that came with the pixel 2 xl no longer charges my phone. I received my 2xl on the 24th and it has been working flawlessly but this morning i woke up with no charge after being plugged in all night. I tried with an anker type c charger with the 2xl cable and it charges so i know the culprit is the wall adapter.
Has anyone else experienced a malfunction with the wall adapter or charging in general?
I have no problem using my anker charger since i bought it for the 2xl as another room charger but i dont find it acceptable that the stock charger stops working a day after 2 weeks.
Any ideas on how fix this? Would google possibly replace the wall adapter?
looks like this is an issue with the November security patch.
Same thing has happened to me on my Pixel 2 XL and i have three different official wall chargers and they will not work (all Type C PD), however it will work with the qualcom quick charge connector in my car.
reviewing the internet other people have the same issue and all seem post November update.

DeX Not Working, Not even Charging

Hi All,
I just bought a DeX station and when I plug everything in, (HDMI, power, input devices), DeX won't start, even the phone is not charging when it's docked. I am currently using the out-of-the-box S8+ charger, with Adaptive Fast Charging together with the original cable, and have tried to use a friend's S6 Fast Charger to no avail either, although my phone, when plugged directly to the fast charger, detects it as fast charging.
Does anyone have a fix for this, or experiencing the same problem with the DeX station?
do you use it with a case ?

I experience the same issue. I've just bought the DeX from someone, it doesn't work with my chargers (two Samsung chargers, one Apple charger and one Meizu charger)/cables (Samsung original and others), BUT it DOES work when connected to seller's charger (regular Samsung)/TV.
I didn't manage to find the culprit yet.
Just to clear the air. Your not rooted and heavily debloated are you?
You have to use a 9V or 12V Charger.
I can also use my Xiaomi Notebook Charger.

Wireless charger charging very slow

Yes, I know that any other charger than pixel stand won't charge faster than 5W. But still, I've got baseus simple wireless charger (2A) and connected my pixel 3 xl for the night. It had about 45% before and about 55% in the morning. So it got about 10% in 6 hours. That's super slow. I've tested it in Ampere and it shown about 300mah. Charger itself is connected to rock wall charger with 2A power output. I'm also using Spiegen ruggee armor case. What's going on?
It seems that the baseus wireless charger is causing the problem
Try again without the case, a different charger block, and then again on a different wireless charger. I've been using wireless charging since the Nexus 6 and it can be a bunch of different things.
Generally I try to use a "matched" charging block to the wireless charger itself. For example, if it is a 2A wireless charging stand I'll pair it up with a 2A charging block not a QC 3.0 charging block. While this shouldn't make a difference it could be a problem.
I have multiple Itian wireless stands that I use for my iPhone X, Nexus 6, and Pixel 3 XL and I only have some minor issues.
One issue is that every once in a while I have to unplug and re-plug the micro USB cable into the charger because it just stops working for no reason. Other times it's something as simple as the phone isn't sitting in the stand correctly.
The way wireless charging works is through inductive coils and I bought the Itian wireless charging stands on purpose cause they have three coils reducing the issue of not properly setting the device in the cradle.
Unfortunately it's hard to say what it is exactly but try different things that seem logical as to why it isn't working for you. Good luck!

Similar here, I've been a wireless charger lover since Shamu and Nokia Icon. I still use the same Tylt Vue chargers. It charges slowly, but who cares, it's on the night stand and easily makes 100% by morning.
I have to say I've tried again few nights and it's working better. What matters is the position on the charger. If it's a bit off it charges slower. I guess case may be slowing it down as well.

Question Mous wireless charger and magnetic case overheating?

Hello everyone, is this happening only to me? I'm using the original Google wall adaptor with a Mous wireless charger and magnetic case. The wireless output is between 5W and 15W, so it should theoretically be fine. Instead, the charger overheats substantially, to the point that the phone stops charging at roughly 50%. Did anyone encounter similar issues?
Thanks in advance!

I have the wireless car vent mount and Limitless 3.0 on a Pixel 6 Pro and mine also overheated so much that the phone stopped charging itself to keep the temperature down. I realized though that I was using a car charger with much more power capability than the included adapter, so once I switched to the originally-included car adapter it actually heated up less. Maybe try a weaker wall adapter?
Thanks for the tip! I've contacted Mous and they confirmed the phone overheats as the charger constantly charges at maximum speed. I'm currently using the Google wall adapter, but I'll try with a weaker one and will let you know. Thanks again!
Update: that did the trick! Swapping the Google wall charger with a weaker one allowed the phone to continue charging until 100%. The charger still overheats and slows down the charging after a while, but at least it continues to charge until full.
Thanks again!

Question Is it safe to use USB-USB C fast charging plug with Samsung a54?

Hi there.
I recently purchased a Samsung A54 and noticed that it came with USB-c to USB-c charger. It did not come with the plug. I have been using a normal USB-USB c cable and original Samsung fast charger from an older device to charge the phone (as i do not yet have access to a USB C plug). I have noticed that the charger becomes extremely hot and makes a buzzing sound. The charger also cuts out and restarts again multiple times during the charging process. Is it safe to use the USB charger or do I need to buy a USB-C charger?
Thanks so much

Just replace the charger. It's a lot cheaper than the phone.
I've had good results with the Anker Nano series.
I'd expect this to be the charger anyway and not from the phone with it.
I use the A53 with my old Samsung 15 watt fast charger and the cable that charger came with just fine. There's no problem. The a54 should be no different.
So, I expect the charger to have a problem.

This must be an issue with the charging brick, get the Anker C-Type Charger. Its the best in the game!

I got the Samsung Charger brick with the phone but I use the Anker Charger anyways! Ive had this for more than a year and I use this as my primary charging brick. Never faced any issue so far.
I was using my old Oneplus Warp charger (65W) and was also getting heating, and phone would only charge for like 10 mins before stopping.
Bought a Belkin 25W USB-C brick and all my issues went away
