Hi,
I need help regarding my Lg g3, model number is D858 HK dual sim. My outer screen lens cracked but the screen underneath works but of course the touch is not working probably. My questions are:
- Is my phone screen is the same as other lg g3 models like the single sim ones or since it is dual sim then the cable that fit to the board is different?
- How can I buy the proper screen? And do I have to buy the whole screen including the LCD as well?

1) From looking at the listing on aliexpress im pretty sure it is the same as the D855 edition.
2) Buy from aliexpress. Yes you have to buy the whole thing, unless you want to apply the adhesive that glues the lcd and digitizer together yourself which is nearly impossible to do
3) Please be careful, aliexpress has some shady people. I bought a Nexus 5 screen once off it and it was broken when i recieved it in the mail. In your case there is also the possibility that lcd isnt a 2k screen
Thanks for the reply.
Actually I looked at aliexpress which comes in Google search intensively. The point is a couple of workshops told me its different while on ebay and aliexpress it shows it's the same screen. That's why I'm confused and decided to seek help here. The other thing is I would like to go for the whole thing complete but I was worried to buy it fofrom unreliable source and pay that much. So I need a good source.
Checked Aliexpress one more time and found no information about any of the screen is 2K. Does this mean there is no real replacement here for a cracked device? or better buy the glass lens only? please advise

If you search ebay for 'g3 genuine screen replacement' or something similar you'll find what you need, they also state that the display is QHD (1440p). Costs around $150.
Hello,
the digitizer touch screen is interchangeable for all lg g3 models.
The LCD+touchscreen is interchangeable, too.
But the LCD+touchscreen+frame is not interchageable.
This is the part you may need:

Were you able to solve this problem using D855 screen on D858? I have the same issue. Replacement screens for D855 are available at my location but not for D858.

I switched motherboard from my D855 (EU) into D852 (canada) and it works perfectly..so screens are same.. only thing I noticed was back cover - specifically NFC antenna has 4 (EU) vs 2 (CAN) contacts...
I bought an Asus Zenfone 2 Selfie, and shortly after the Smartphone fell and shattered screen. Then the proximity sensor always detects the Flip Cover so cant access any menu and its impossible to unlock my phone. I CLAIM HELP ME PLEASE!

Ops
Hi
I have a zenfone 2 ZE550ML(Z008)
a few days ago it fell and since then it has severe ghost touch problem(a line keeps touching again and again even in TWRP). it doesn't have warranty and I want to change it myself. the online store has touchscreen and LCD for ZE551ML.
now my question is "does these two model have the same display?" or do I need to find someplace else?
(there is no store that has ZE550 LCD)
So my beloved ZE551ML which has 2½ years now has the infamous screen tearing, like found in a lot of thread like this one:
https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-67186-1-1.html
As it happens even in the first bootloader that displays the message that my device is unlocked, I know it's not a SW problem but HW one...
Does changing the LCD hard? has to play with glue and heatgun? Can I buy the LCD with the bezel of some kind so it'll be easier?
Or do I buy a new phone? LG G5 or something?

very first of all, i would suggest you to flash raw firmware with commands. and after first startup perform a factory reset. if the problem remain same. order a new LCD with frame from china.

Changing the screen is not terribly difficult. I've done it. There are several YouTube videos on how. Cost me about $20. And solved the problem.

Yeah I saw the videos. I changed screen on Nexus7 (on two tablets, pain in the ass) and MotoG2, so I bought the zenfone2 screen with the frame, should take 10 minutes to change, no heat gun, no messy glue.
Hello! My Zenfone 5Z's front glass shattered badly after taking a fall. Does anyone know how much the official ASUS service centres charge for display assembly replacement in India? Also the display and digitizer are working fine. Is there any way to get it repaired for a lower price? I really like the display on this phone and would rather not put a low quality panel even if its a bit cheaper.
If someone could suggest a place for repair in Mysore, I'd very much appreciate it!
