Hi, there is any developer who can make custom kernel for a3 2017 oreo rom?
even no custom kernel for nougat version, less support for a3 2017 device.
less custom rom. less support. all we have to do is do it for ourself.
when a5 & a7 receive many cusrom, but nor for a3.
Here is lineage os https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series-2017/development/rom-lineageos14-1-t3735022/page72
Hope this helped
Hi dears!
Is it possible to repartition and make Project Treble for SAMSUNG Galaxy J7 2017 (J730F/DS)? I'm very sad, cuz this phone doesn't support none of stable custom ROM's like LineageOS or Ressurection Remix.
Its near impossible to "partition" your phone for project treble to be compatible, if it didn't ship with 8.1.0 Oreo then its a guarantee its nor compatible
Project treble is compatible with android 8.1.0 or above
Their is things happening in the world and your sad cause project treble is incompatible with your phone, grow up

Everything is possible. Some things are just difficult.
You can take a look at Mi A1 repartition guide made by CosmicDan. He added vendor partition to Mi A1 which had Nougat out of the box.
But don't use that guide. You would need Treble vendor and Kernel with Treble support etc first.
If there's any other phone with same CPU and it has Treble then You can try porting it from that device. But that's difficult. And some things could be buggy. On some Samsung phones You wouldn't even need to repartition them as You can use their /cache partition to keep vendor files.
I'd recommend You to just buy a new phone with Treble if You really need Treble that much. There are lots of cheap Xiaomi phones with good specs and they support Treble.
Your phone got 8.1 update so You're not using outdated firmware.. Treble only sounds fun for the first 10 minutes. Then You start noticing that all roms are almost identical Except for MIUI 10 or Nubia sGSI.
I have Galaxy J2 2018(SM-J250F, SD 425). And I'm going to port Galaxy J4+(SD 425) on My J2 2018.
J4+ is 8.1.0 oreo with treble support and my j2 2018 is 7.1.1 nougat without treble support.
I want to port, but I can't find guide for port treble device on non-treble device.
Please someone help me to port.
Hi folks,
in this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/development/treble-project-treble-cedric-t3820451) it was recommended to flash a LOS 15 treble build before any GSI. (I guess this was necessary for some drivers like camera to work?)
How do you have to proceed if you want to install a Pie GSI? A LOS 16 treble build doesn't exist.
Is it even necessary and what would happen if I would just flash a Pie GSI?
Thanks in advance
You can easily flash Pixel sgsi with los15.1 there will not be any problem but for Q GSI we need pie treble so we have to wait for pie treble so then we can flash Q GSI.
Hi! There's Project Treble for Galaxy A3 (2017), which only supports Stock Android, unfortunately. I like ColorOS/MIUI better than One UI, but I don't like Stock Android. (e.g. Lineage OS, Resurrection Remix). Since I don't have any money to buy a Oppo or Mi/Redmi device, & i don't save up anymore, ($95) To be able to get ColorOS/MIUI working on A3 2017, Can anyone make & port CAF Vendor/Exynos Support for A3 2017 please? :crying:
