is it normal for everyone?
or it is only for me while fast charging
Ofc its notmal if ur using super fast charging
Batteries heat up when they charge, faster charging, faster and greater heating.
Yes that's quite normal
My Samsung galaxy note 4 on qualcomm quick charge 3.0 goes upto 55 degrees and that just 18 watt of power.
Samsung A70 super fast charger is 25watt charger so it's quite normal for it to go this high.
If it bothers you you can untick super fast charging in settings >battery.
You phone might charge slowly but it wouldn't heat up.
Another trick you can use is to power off your phone and use stock 25 watt charger. This way apps running in background wouldn't heat up processor and keep the temperatures down.

hey..
is there anything how i can use batteries to charge my htc wizard?
like havin 4 AA batteries in something and then a usb cable to charge it?
thanks
just get a 9v battery, put in a zeiner diode and a 100 resistor Voila! 5.1v do some search 9v to usb on google
I have a thing attached to my key ring that takes a 9v PP3 on one side and has a set of adaptors for charging mobile phones of all types, one of them is the mini USB for my Trinity.
think about a 2nd battery charger
Count me in as well!
Bearing in mind the wonderful HTC/WM? feature of not being able to recharge fully discharged batteries in the phone, could you consider a place to charge a 2nd battery outside of the phone?
Thx
Paul
Buy a universal extended battery. I charge almost all my devices with this one.

UPDATE: I decided to throw the battery into the freezer (in a plastic bag) for 15 minutes and it works now... shows the correct temperature and doesn't say overheat anymore.
Hello everyone, my old G2 has a faulty battery temperature sensor. When I check the battery's temperature in an app, it says that the battery is overheating, when it's not even warm to the touch. Because of overheat protection, my G2 refuses to charge... So does anyone know where the battery temperature sensor is? Is it in the battery itself or in the phone? If it's in the phone, where is it specifically located? Thanks everyone...
Edit: It's not the USB port that's faulty because the charging LED on the G2 still lights up and it's not the USB cable either because I tried two different cables.
I attached some screenshots of the battery's information

This is just a short a review of the XTAR current / voltage detector - http://www.banggood.com/XTAR-VI01-USB-CurrentVoltage-Detector-For-Battery-Power-Bank-p-969089.html
So a while ago I got my hands on this little Xtar power detector as I wanted to see if my chargers and powerbanks outputted enough amperage, and if the voltage was stable.
The Xtar power detector goes straight into the USB jack on your charger or powerbank, and there's a plug on the other end for your phone or device.
After the thing is plugged in you can see how much power your charger outputs on the little display, but note that it might not be 100% accurate at times (it all depends on how much your phone wants to pull). I should note that the amperage have really been a bit off in certain chargers, but the voltage usually have been very accurate.
Overall, this is a great little gadget for people that are interested in how much their chargers outputs, and therefore I think it's a useful gadget. However, take the values with a grain of salt as they're not always accurate.

This charger is amazing Firstly it comes fully stored, It fits in the palm of my hand, it feels smooth and cold like a stainless steel, and It charged my phone without loosing a bar light It was able to charge my alcatel one touch f2 from 22% to 100% in less then a hour , also my motorla moto g from zero to 3% in 2 minutes. The small usb cord that came along with it is quite durable even though its small its the perfect fit for a portable charger. Without the incovience of having a long cord in your pocket/bag. I am very impressed by this gadget and I highly recommend for anyone to buy it. :fingers-crossed: It can charge android type phones or devices with the similar outlet to charge it . :good:
