Funnily enough, I just checked as I saw this thread and finally an update has arrived.

Got this 3 days ago [emoji1303]
So you will soon get it to, but nothing changes, it's a security update and this should always be good.

What u need fixed?
If it's because u need update to get a rush for urself, u must buy a new phone and then get a lot of updates/fix.
For me personally it's the best having a phone which not have the needs for updates to fix a phone with lots of problems.
Who like a phone with problems???

So u need downgrade not upgrade
If u lower volume 3/4 those "bass" will engage it is protection not to distort sound whne on max.. No idea how was it in 9.. Downgrade and let us know...

So those that are on EMUI 10. Does Accubattery and GSAM work or still no?

I was hoping the latest update would have included that. They're certainly taking their sweet time to roll it out. Ridiculously long imo.

Broke notifications again to Wear OS watches and my Polar watch.
Edit: After a day of getting no notifications to my watches, a little over two hours ago, everything just started working as it should.
Can anybody explain how that can happen? Thanks.

After the last security update, all notifications to connected Bluetooth peripherals was lost.
Tried forgetting and matching up again, but nothing. Turned on and off, but nothing. The only thing that worked was factory resetting my phone.

Huawei Watch - Android Wear 1.4 Update

The Huawei Watch Update to Android Wear 1.4 will start next monday, 29th.
The update will bringt some new features, especially the support for the build in speaker. Referring to latest information it will be possible to listen to Spotify offline playlists with the Watch. There will be also a new reminder and a keyboard.
I'm rellay looking forward to the update!
Edit link is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65606670&postcount=97
Source: Huaweiblog.de
I'll believe it when I see (and hear it) myself on my wrist.
At this point people have had to wait quite a while for the update with very little news from Huawei.
God help us to see it!
it "starts" on Monday but Huawei have not detailed the update roadmap (which countries first etc..)....

Really? All the other watches to update so far don't even get the full benefit of the update because they don't have a speaker. I'd much rather have a well tested update that I don't have to worry about rather than the bricking mess that Moto is going through right now.

He'd rather have his "unicorn" moto 360 2nd gen since his (supposedly the one he is going get) is the only one in existence with a speaker in it.
Seriously though, if you truly aren't happy with a product, and you (as in everyone in general) aren't going to give constructive criticism, it's better to move on than to stay and spread nothing but negativity :good:

get ready for that new awesome fake always on mode... your watch display will be turned off after some time, even if you wear your watch
I realy love the watch without speaker. When i bought it i have no ideea that next update will bring speaker support. I think thats a briliant ideea to buy a product and after month and month when its getting old redescover same old product and love it again with a new feature. You wait long for update from google or huawei? U shoud see samsung users how long they have to wait for an update. Google just confirm speaker suport few month ago. Last year it was just rumoors never confirm. I am just curios how loud is the speaker.

Fake always on mode?
I do believe he is referring to DOZE feature that turns off even ambient mode after a while if it senses it is not worn. OR the wake-up gesture that will be seconded by the "sleep" gesture where you lay your hand next to body and watch is put in ambient/screen off.

Thats the problem. It even turns the display off if you wear the watch.
Actually, I find it pretty neat and it already works for me in the current firmware. When I fall asleep on the couch with my watch on the wrist I wake up with it having display off. The same happens when you leave your watch on the table unattended. It works quite consistently as I never experience this "doze" mode when working at the desk or moving in general.
That's true. I also noticed this a few times when it's just on the desk, it turns off after 2 hours of non-movement

Is the display turned off only when you wear the watch during sleep or is it turned off in general?
I know that the display is turned off after a while when you put the watch on the desk, but that's not new, that's already the case.

I got the email and applied the update.
Interested in seeing how it works.
Have noticed a couple issues.
Can't get Google Now to launch when press and hold on the Home key.
Also, going into the camera app, changing models between Photo, Pro Photo, HDR, you can't get back to regular Photo.
Google Now works fine for me. Camera modes all work for me without issue. Maybe you should clear your cache via recovery or factory reset.
I did a request but I' m om L21 (europe).
Hope it doesn't auto update.
update is nice. The notifications isn't my style but nice to see they are working on things. I'm not exactly a power user so I probably won't notice things as much as others. Battery life seems to have gone down a bit but other than that the update has been pretty good.

s6+ security updates

Since August, I've been receiving at least one update EVERY month.
This one is out - and it's not even the end of November.
Its unprecedented! Anyone else? I think Samsung is doing very well. And the phone is better with battery usage after every update.
I'm very impressed... anyone else?

Another one!
Loving it!
So much infact I just got my front and back screen replaced.

I read your reply today and I've checked if I have an update waiting for me aswell and it turns out although we live in different countrires in EU thre's an sec. update waiting for me.... about the same size.
But this one is strange. Even if full LTE signal It downloads very slowly. I wonder why?
BTW you have nice theme. Do you beleive I'm still runninng the stock defaut theme..... gosh...
I'm sure (I hope) You all (especialy XDA users) know the theory of making a device worse in performance (more lagging, lessm battery life etc.) by hidding a spcial code in sec. updates.
Well maybe that's what Samsung is doing cause like I've told You a thousand times S6E+ is (maybe until S9) the pbest fone release yet.
To motivate ppl to upgrade even from S8 Samsung may start rolling out bad updates.
Today I've talked to a guy that suddenly, 2-3 days after the premiere of S9/S9+ saw that his S8 has suddenly slowed down. He didn't install any new apps or did nothing unusual. Even didnt get the Oreo update.
Think about that.
I've isntalled the sec update. Have now from 1st Feb 2018 and for some time I see that espcially the battery life is going suddenly down.
You need to know that since I purchaed the phone I used it only once a month. Latley 4 times a month. Never installed more apps than 5. Even a loooong time ago after purchase I got rid of Microsoft apps and some other non Google and non Samsung.
Something fishy is about that.
WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK about this situation with these updates?

Yup. Received a feature update yesterday with camera improvements on my U1. Then got this update this morning. It's just a security patch BUT PLEASE NOTE!!! This moves you up to bootloader v2. You can NOT roll back to previous versions.
This also tells me the Android 10 beta will have a v2 bootloader when it's pushed, otherwise we wouldn't be able to install it.

In my experience, about every two weeks, the FP sensor gets mega wonky and won't recognize my prints. So I have to re-enter them. Then it works like butter, but slowly degrades in performance for a couple weeks until it's wonky again.
I've got 4 updates on my Note 10+ in the 7 weeks I've had it. Never had so many updates on a device in such a short time and I own a OP6T and P2XL
Maybe we'll be getting Android 10 with One UI 2.0 before the new year. It definitely seems companies are finally pushing updates like they should. We pay a lot of money for these devices so it's good to know they are being supported better these days.

They roll out in waves but certain regions seem to get priority over others...
Kinda sucks balls being on the end of the list and waiting 2 months for an update or feature the forums are all talking about a month or 2 in advance....
Even worse when a security threat is found and we are stuck in limbo wondering if we are gonna get an update soon to fix that which has been found...

Hey, Butchie. I may have to try that. Been getting frustrated with it. Id say it's my Whitestone Dome screen protector, but literally when I first register the prints, it works smooth as butter. Couple weeks later and it's like it doesn't recognize my prints at all.

Anyone else still on August security patch?

I've had this phone for just a couple of weeks now and when I check for updates it says I'm up to date. It's running 9.1.0.320 with the August security patch. Even my cheap honor phone is more recent on the September patch.
Are many others still on August, or has my IMEI fallen off of Huawei's radar?
I'm on the October patch, running 9.1.0.347 on the C636. If you're in the US you might need to get a foreign SIM card to get updates. I didn't get updates for months until I got one.

Good question. I'm in the UK and bought the phone here. When I first got it a couple of updates came to through. Now it won't move forward from August. This is the problem with Huawei. Their update schedule sucks.
I'm in the UK with a C432 and I'm still on August patches as well. Pretty disappointing really but Huawei has always been the same. My Mate 10 Pro sometimes went 5 to 6 months without getting an update.
