Maybe my English is just awful, but I can't seem to find a Miui based ROM (debloated) for Onclite. Could someone point me to one?
Thanks in advance!

I'd like to get rid of some native apps, but even with a rooted device and using the ROM you said I couldn't uninstall some of them.

Well you have to use debloater module to uninstall system app. But before uninstalling with debloater uninstall any updates of that app from app info. And make sure what app are you debloating. you can view some post about debloating miui from xda where you can learn about basic debloat or full debloating to avoid bootloop and safely debloat your miui.eu rom

Bro porting in custom ROM is so difficult. Some one has to make a porting guide , wait for that
It will not work.

It will not work because the stock camera app is a custom work of Huawei and the aosp Roms don't have the necessary blobs to run the emui camera app.
The porting may be done but even then there's no guarantee that every feature will work or not.

1- it's hard to port the stock camera app to a custom ROM.
2- no one (right now) wants to port it
No one wants to do isnt a correct word. It needs few efforts to do so.
Hi Community,
My Mix 2 just arrived today with MIUI global ROM installed. I cannot see any app/setrting to download/apply MIUI themes in the device. Will really appreciate if someone would guide me for this. Please pardon if I am overlooking something as this is my first MI device.
Thanks!

ROM is MIUI global 8.5 stable. Its really weird to see neither icon nor setting for themes. right now downloading OTA update. Will see if that brings the missing themes options or not.

Try the "QuicShortcutMaker" apk from playstore to see if you can get into the Theme apk. If not you could try to install V9.1.1.0.NDEMIEI (MIUI9) from http://en.miui.com/download-334.html#491.

Thanks friends for the concern shown. This was however related to region restriction for themes, changing the region resolved the issue.
I'm assuming the answer is no, but is there any way to use the venom tweaks on other roms by installing the apk? Would it work on oreo roms?
Thanks in advance.

Xposed + Xtended Settings will give you most of the tweaks and customization you seek(maybe more).
Yes, it does however require using Xposed Framework.

It will definitely not work on Oreo ROMs. Some tweaks will work that don't need a modified version of Sense on Nougat, but any home screen tweaks won't.
Actually now thinking about it, some tweaks will probably work on Oreo as well, but even less than on another Nougat ROM that isn't Viper10

Hello guys,
I'm been searching a lot on this forum and could not find a clear answear: Is it possible to use Xposed with MIUI9 Oreo?
Is it related to the odexed / deodexed thing?
I love xposed because it gives me 2-3 extra features and also want to move on to Oreo...
Any tips? Any particular roms that i could try?
Thank you!
What features are you looking for?
Xposed is not working with MIUI oreo. I've tried any solution out there but no luck so far.

I'm on Android pie, on du rom, but I'm having trouble getting substratum to work? Any help is appreciated
Are you rooted? As far as I know Substratum doesn't work without root on Pie. If you're rooted, this method works for me:
1. Build and install overlays
2. Reboot
3. Go back to Substratum and enable the overlays

What version of Substratum/Magisk are you using? As far as I know there's no required version. Does the theme you're trying to use support Pie?

Does your theme support Pie? The theme I'm using requires you to choose which version of Android you're running before you can build overlays, which makes me suspect there's something special about Pie that your theme needs to support in order to work correctly.
As a troubleshooting step I suggest downloading a theme that explicitly states Pie is supported in its description and trying that.
