Bro porting in custom ROM is so difficult. Some one has to make a porting guide , wait for that

It will not work because the stock camera app is a custom work of Huawei and the aosp Roms don't have the necessary blobs to run the emui camera app.
The porting may be done but even then there's no guarantee that every feature will work or not.

1- it's hard to port the stock camera app to a custom ROM.
2- no one (right now) wants to port it
No one wants to do isnt a correct word. It needs few efforts to do so.

No you will have to reflash it every time you update the ROM ...
The gallery app doesnt flash. Only the camera flashes. Im on Moto G GPE 5.1. Please help. Desperately want the Gallery app..

Well i did get it to work. Ran out of system memory, which was not allowing the app to get copied in the /system folder. Deleted a few system app(google books,movies amd music) and it flashed like a charm.

No, you have to use stock Motorola ROM to have Slow motion recording available. This feature is probably buried somewhere at Motorola's framework. I also wanted slow motion recording, and found out that it doesn't work with any custom ROM, and that it doesn't work with stock GPE ROMs either. So again - only stock Motorola ROMs.

there are no custom roms for MM exclusively for our phone.
there is very little, if any, support going on for our phone/variant.
we used to have a flashable note5 porting zip but that only worked on 5.x.x
there is xposed, but you need to be deodexed for most of it to work.

If someone who is a dev and is reading this please think about us .. yes I have xposed but when i see the other roms on g928f..i get sad that my phone can't get it.

there is some hope...monkeyaround is attempting to modify the old note5 port patch to work with MM...although I think his attempts hard bricked his device

I also saw a rom I think it was called Infinity .. it as for note5/s6e+
On the new version they update it to sprint note 5 , but no sprint edge+

Try looking up Lamlazy rom v5.I use it on both S6 edge plus and my note 5,both sprint.Its a Vietnamese based rom but it's awesome.

Stock Camera app will not work on any Custom ROMs. It will only work on Samsung Firmwares. Because Samsung Uses extremely modified and customized Framework. Which is different than CyanogenMod. So it is not possible to get Samsung Stock Camera On CyanogenMod or other ROMs.

I'm not sure, but I think you have to install it with twrp.

Espectacular
This ROM is spectacular. Is practically finished. You only have an error with the camera that makes it impossible to take pictures after the first one. Should improve it. But its functionality is practically flawless.
