Is it possible to enable the system ui tuner on this phone? I have looked online and followed the instructions. I tapped and held the gear in the quick settings for as much as 30 seconds and it didn't enable. I saw another post that said you could enable it from the developer options. I looked there and there isn't an entry or setting for it. The developer options are enabled and animations are enabled. I am using the Apex launcher. I tried to do from the TW launcher as well. Any ideas?
I'm looking for an App or Xposed module that basically allows me to change the Data/calling and Sms options from the Statusbar itself, rather than go into settings and then do it. The screenshot is from the native Samsung S7, looking for something like this.
it would have been amazing if we could change the fingerprint unlock animation on our Samsung galaxy note 10+
But unfortunately I tried searching everywhere for it on the internet but didn't found any method of changing the animation
Does anybody here knows???
On my Note 10+ it is in:
Settings > Biometrics & Security > Biometrics preferences > Screen Transition effect
Toggle it OFF (to the left)

I think he is asking about changing the animation and not how to turn it off.
Since we have someone here from. Nubia, let's get a thread started for features we'd like implemented in future updates. Maybe he can pass along the requests.
Here are mine:
WiFi calling
Being able to set default apps
Better custom launcher support. It's kind off iffy.
Time zone support. My time zone keeps changing. I have to turn airplane more on/off for it to reset. This is on automatic time zone.
Some suggestions to start:
-Assigning apps/actions to finger prints
-Recents menu returning to preferred launcher instead of Nubia one
-ARCore support
-Google Dialer support
-App Cloning
-Auto hide navigation bar and transparency
-App/Screen pinning
@JerryYin
You may want to keep an eye on this thread.
Thanks
- NFC payments
- Update Gamespace to add features like sounds profiles (available on Chinese ROM I think)
- Improve fingerprint and face unlock (has improved with updates, further refinement needed)
- Remove phone is accelerated message when closing background apps
- Solve issue when sound only comes through one speaker when on speaker in some apps e.g. Whatsapp
Hey everyone,
Adding a soft-launch option, in the form of an app-like icon on the screen itself, to bring up the game space would make things more convenient. This would spare the user the need to flick the physical switch every time they want to play games and would offer a software alternative to the hardware switch.

Unfortunately, Google officially dropped support for Android Beam in Android 10. https://www.techradar.com/news/android-q-wont-have-android-beam

Didn't know that. Because my previous phone, Samsung S9+ updated to Android 10, still has android beam in NFC and can still share files via NFC. Same with gesture support for 3rd party launcher. Android 10 by default has no support for it, but Samsung's One UI allows 3rd party launcher to use gesture. Hope Nubia could also improvise in some of android 10's shortcomings.

Nearby Share is slowly rolling out to users - don't know if we'll see it on the RM5G:

I think that's easy for you to reset back to the original, isn't it?
Turn "Developer options" off
Turn "Developer options" back on
Wouldn't doing just that reset them all to the original options?
I could do that for you but then I'd lose all my settings, so my 16 screenshots below are on my Samsung Galaxy A325G Android 12 as they are set now.
Bear in mind that many of the options have sub options, particularly if you long-press on them (which makes the number of screenshots a lot!).
So I included an extra couple of screenshots to show you the sub options of the new Android 12 "Developer options" "Wireless debug" sub menu, by way of example.
Also note that some of the Developer options below have "Samsung" in the name, so I can't tell you what you'll find on your brand of phone if it's not a Samsung (I didn't look you up as I generally answer for everyone and not just the OP so that we all benefit from the dialog).
Also please bear in mind the Developer options" are different based on the Android release (e.g., between Android 11 and 12 Google moved "Mock location" from around the middle to the very bottom and they added "Wireless debugging"), my point being you should probably state the version of Android that you're on in your request.
