Whats the new Google assistant? Is it just the Google app or is there more goodies on the Pixel?

The Google assistant available with pixel 4
You get more goodies
pixel 4 Google Assistant UI in (whyred) on pixel experience android 10
Steps for enabling Assistant 2.0 1. Use pixel props or
manually modify build.prop to enable assistant 2.0 first
2. once enabled, copy the above
file and replace the original inn data/data/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/
shared prefs/
3. change the permission of the folder
"shared_prefs" (the folder, not the files in it) to 551
(dr-xr-x-x)
4. force close google app, start again
5. enjoy beautiful animation
I don't think it will work for Google (Beta) users.
it will work 100% :good:

Not working. I tried several times. No UI nothing and working like it has a bug.(shared_prefs) folder permissions I tried both 501 and 551 still no use. I don't know where the problem is but I think it is with Google app (beta) version ,the one I am using.

Download and Install the New Launcher Nexus 5 Google Home Pure Android Experience and savor KitKat 4.4
Google Android is breaking multiple applications within the system, and is segmentándolas for services and thus ensuring that all most of these services are constantly updated system without relying on third parties is not new, in fact, is a long way who has worked, and today marks another step as the Nexus 5 with andropid 4.4 we find that own Android Launcher 4.4 is an application that is installable on other devices.
To install it you have to follow some steps, which are more complex to install three apk for everything to work properly. Let's do this, the sooner you can enjoy it better:
Code:
1 - Install the new Google Play Services 4.0
[URL="http://www.mediafire.com/?ceaxcdb62bio9cy"]Download Play Services[/URL]
2 - Install the New Google Search
[URL="http://www.mediafire.com/?42nkrowkif5rrya"]Download Google Search[/URL]
3 - Install Google or Google Home Launcher experiencie
[URL="http://www.mediafire.com/?pa0n2s1wr2lszls"]Download Google Home Launcher[/URL]
In the pictures you can see that now the application drawer is semi-transparent, that the widgets are back if you hold down your finger on the desktop. In settings is to configure Google Search, which is now part of the launcher or is included in, hence why also install this apk. In addition, we now have as many desktops as you need, if you want more, drag an icon to the right and opens a new panel.

New Google Search-not working force closed
I remember reading about Google enabling Lollipop devices to start using Google assistant but it's now mid January and my device still has bupkis! I have tried the unofficial ways to get it but they all fail on my stock, un-rooted T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I get the Google Assistant Launcher to install but after I do, a reminder it says device is not supported. I have the Play Services beta and Google Search Beta and still nothing, what the heck?
They recently updated Google to this crappy new style which removed the hamburger menu and puts everything on a disappearing bottom bar like iPhones, WTF?! Also it moves all personal items to this weird button that looks like a pimple art demo and the mail Google feed simply shows news? I would rather have my personal Google (scores, travel times, shipping info, etc) on my main page and click a button for the news.
Why does Google always fluck with sh!t? Does anyone know how to enable Google Assistant on the Note 3? Thanks in advance...
It's now almost April and still nothing? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance...
I've seen the app floating around the Play Store, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with Lollipop 5.0 since I'm running 8.1 via Lineage 15.1 (haggertk), but it's worth a try I guess.
Can't post a link as I'm still considered new despite being here for 4 going on 5 years now... RIP

Why pixel launcher is not supported in Moto one power?! I searched for the answer n i din get it..the launchers - ruthless, lean, lawnchair, rootless are can install on this device but not that pixel bridge for google feed! Do reply.thanks!
Coz it's Android One! You need root for installing Lawnchair 2 + Quick Step. It has that Google Feed.
Install moto app launcher update first and install pixel launcher. Work fine for me.
Hi. I am a hardcore Samsung galaxy s series fan. Was using only S series all the time. Moto one power is my first other brand mobile just bought it for battery and Android one. Now my problem is I am missing so many features of Samsung One UI. Infact I'm a big fan of samsung's user interface. Can anyone port the S9 or S10 UI to Moto one power? It ll b a very good experience I feel. Thanks in advance.

You are correct, I didn't know that.
Google won't support Playground and AR Stickers on newer Pixel phones
Google Playground and its AR Stickers won't be happening on the Pixel 4a or future Pixels. The features will still get support on current models, though.
www.androidauthority.com
First of all, both my pixel 2 xl and pixel 4 xl can use stickers normally.I searched a lot of posts. Since the pixel 5, stickers have been cancelled. But from the entry of the sticker that can be displayed by installing a third-party Google camera, although you can’t click it, it can be concluded that Google should cancel the sticker entry in the latest version of the camera. So I think there may be a certain version of third-party Google Camera that supports stickers. We can look for it together. Or is there a master who can make a module that can be directly activated in the native camera?I really hope to use stickers on pixel 6! ! !

Gotcha. I own a 4A, and was disappointed at the fact that Google discontinued Playground for the 4a, & all future pixels, so I created a clone of the APK file, removed some permissions out of the manifest, and got it fully working on the 4a (other than accessing it from the camera app, you have to actually manually create a shortcut to the modded Playground and add it to the homescreen), I'll see if I can do some more tinkering..

First of all, thank you very much for your hard work and dedication! I finally opened the playground on Pixel 6 Pro! Thank you so much! I followed your method and created a shortcut on the pixel launcher using the shortcut creater. I also entered the playground through this shortcut. After entering, he will pop up some permission prompts, I allow them all. After testing, short press to take a photo after adding a sticker works well, but long press to take a video will cause a crash. I don't know why, please help me!
My Phone is pixel 6 Pro based on Android 12.
Maybe I didn't search hard enough, but anyone know if it's possible to install the OnePlus launcher on the Pixel 6 Pro? I successfully installed, but it refused to load, even one install that was reported to work on any Android phone. I'm using ProtonAOSP with gapps.
I bought a Pixel 6 Pro out of love for its superior night camera which is fabulous for catching northern lights here in Alaska, but I absolutely love the OxygenOS launcher on my OnePlus 8 Pro. It's a weird request, I know.
All I have to say is,"why?"
Coming from One+ and Samsung..... All users flash roms to come to a Pixel UI and you want a OP launcher on a Pixel? I'm stumped
I'd recommend Nova7 as it's a better fit for phones than OP launcher.
If it's a tinkering matter I totally understand, but, OP on Pixel?
You can also try lawnchair launcher 12. I was missing a few things after moving from 1+ 8 pro to P6 but lawnchair did the trick for me. Basically a pixel launcher with some more customization.

Which features exactly are you looking for?
There are several available launchers on a Pixel, I can't think of any feature set that OP has that is not available, since you can customize about anything, including icons and how animations/gestures work.
As others have said. What's the point?
Anyway, installing the APK will not be sufficient as the OnePlus launcher also relies on a number of native libraries.
You will need figure out exactly which libraries and make them available in /system/lib(64) via a Magisk module.
Too much hassle for what ...
Specifically, I really like this one touch close all apps button. It's a good visual decluttering for me versus memory issue. If I feel overwhelmed by everything I have open, tap the one button and it all feels clean again.

I'll give it a look.
Closing the apps in that way is not recommended and actually worsens battery use. Doesn't do anything for memory use either really as the phone has plenty and manages it well enough. This is why it has been gotten rid of in later versions of Android.

And if you're rooted with lawn chair just use quick switch in magisk and you'll have all you need.

Eh, I charge it enough. It really is more of a psychological visual decluttering for me. I know, it's really best to let Android manage your open apps.
If you scroll all the way to the left you get a clear all

One thing i like most about One plus launcher is to hide apps with fingerprint.
Left swipe to reveal but with fingerprint.
Is there any launcher which has this feature?
Check out Ruthless Launcher
Google Play Link
It has a clear all button on the left most page of the app switcher.
Also has app locker function with fingerprint unlock.
Dev is really responsive on Telegram and the app receives frequent updates.
It's customisable - app icons support, grid options etc, loads of features including At-A-Glance and Google Feed etc. Been using it for a few years now.
