When I try to change any sound on my Ultra I get this and I can't see any way to get to the system and any folder with sounds to choose.
I have restarted the phone with same problem.
See attached picture showing choose path message.

Hi, I have an unlocked dash that I'm using with Cingular and everytime I restart it, I get this text message from 1121611611 and it says:
"453 Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. 06050415CC15CC60D8"
I'm using the T-mobile WM6 rom that they released. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?
On a side note, also whenever I restart my phone, the ring tone goes back to the default "Ring-WindowsMobile" instead of the ring tone I had selected before I restarted my phone. Any ideas? Thanks!
the text message is from your my fav 5 trying to check in with T-Mobile on every restart. because you are on Cingular it is giving you this error. you need to look in your "Start Up" folder and delete the Myf5.lnk file. this is not an easy task. it is a read only file. i had luck turning off the data and push then renaming the file then deleting it.
good luck
actually, its pretty easy to delete.
using celetask, change the settings to show exlude. restart the device then go into celetask and stop the my five app from running. you can then go and delete it.
Well basically all I want to do is change /res/images/charger/battery_charge.png but everytime I change it, match the permissions and change the owner to match the other files then i power off and plug my charger in but then it comes up with the default charging picture and when I boot the file has changed.
Could anyone please tell me if it's possible to do that or if it will just change back and if it is possible how would I do it?
bumppppppppppppppp
anyone please help i cannot use my home button but the back button is working
help me please
What have you done to the phone, like root and so on? Also what G3 model?
Have you tried a reboot or reset?

Check the file LGKeyguard.apk on your /system/priv-app folder.
You can try this, click on it and try running it, you should see a Note appearing with Cancel / Settings options, if not, that is your issue.
Check the file properties and make sure are -rw-r-r- then try running it again, if it works then reboot your phone.
home button doesn't work

Hi, I have the same problem with a LG G3 LS990: The home button doesn't work but the back button is working.
It still does make the click sound and icon highlights, but after that, nothing happens. And the long press does nothing on both.
I checked the file LGKeyguard.apk and the properties were -rw-r-r-
When I run it, it doesn't appear a note with Cancel / Settings, just the next:

s7.postimg .org/hwhsu00vf/Screenshot_2015_08_03_12_38_09 .png
(please remove the space before the dots)
I do installed in both modes but nothing happens. I rebooted, and the button still doing nothing.
Before that, I did a hard reset trying to solve it, but nothing.
What should I do?
Thanks in advance
(Android 4.4.2)

You could re-flash the rom to fix this. Also try restoring the default value through a build prop editor.
Im having the same problem. Any solutions?
Hello, this is my first time posting here. I was having some trouble with the touch screen not being responsive enough, sometimes missing my taps. So I installed this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347009&page=3
Not only did it not appear to change anything, after rebooting I found that my menu and back button no longer vibrate like they should (yes vibration is on in settings) and my q-button no longer does anything. And my home key does not turn the screen on now either. This has to be a simple key configuration change but someone please help me fix this issue Oh also I have the at&t version of the phone if that makes a difference.
Edit: I have found more information about this problem. One being that the mod I spoke of only changes the usr folder of the system folder which contains the key mappings gk-keypad-8064.kl file. I tested and trying to change the QuickButton command in the settings no longer affects this key mappings file as I believe it should. So somehow it either can't find the file (even though it's there) or thinks that the file is corrupt. So is there anyone who has the stock gk-keypad-8064.kl file I can use? Or maybe there should be different permission settings other that rw r r? Please let me know as I think this is the main problem here.

How about you try to flash back to the stock rom using the lg flash tool?
I fixed it with a work around. I used exposed additions to force haptic feedback and also to map the q button key. Hopefully if anyone else has this problem it will help them.
